- In this video I have decided to throw some commentary into my gameplay. Let me know if you like this type of HLL gameplay. Should I do more of these? Or should I just stick to editing gameplays and uploading those without commentary?

This might be the best "HLL" video ever. All new players, especially console players, need to know that this is not COD. Slow down, be patient, you're not helping your team by running and gunning. Coordinate with your squad, listen to your squad leader, and you'll have more fun and be more productive. More please.

My first few matches I was getting so frustrated from dying from shit I couldn’t see, but once I stopped spawning on the frontline and slowed my pace around 200 meters from an objective I’ve found this game so much more enjoyable. I also forget these matches are an hour and a half long and there’s no reason to rush around trying to get kills 😂
Just started playing this. Definitely fits my type of gameplay. Not just running around shooting everything. But just not getting the kills or points yet. But slowly getting there. Great vid.
Play the objective, work with your squad, and you'll get there. Just takes a little time to get the hang of it. Thanks for the comment man!
@@operationfullsend8749 played firewall zero hour on psvr for a long time. Needed to communicate all the time. Just having a tough time adjusting to a flat screen shooter and how to figure the maps out. A detailed vid on the map would be very helpful.
I finally got the chance to enjoy this game. Level 30 and I'm getting better and better with experience and these super helpful videos.

I like your style. The commentary is smooth and helpful. When teaching others its important you share your mistakes becuase its the mistakes that are learned the most from, so for this I thank you.
Taking it slow and working your angles is a great work ethic and something more players need to learn how to do.

The commentary format is much preferred over simply listening to player audio. Commentary offers insights into the game and offers chance to provide tips. Well done!
Everyone has their own sense of playing HLL, you have nailed it to try being patient and also as AT don't fire from same spot twice is also a good tip. Great. I would love to hear your perspective on the roles of SL and commander if you are up to it. Don't have, I have seen some others that are very detailed, but they too leave out a bunch of important information for a beginner to "know" what to do and look for in 'communicating'. Especially for someone that doesn't talk a lot...Thank you for your time and patience. See you on the battlefield!
Thanks so much for the effort to get this video out. I just started 2 weeks ago and have watched a lot...A LOT...of vids on HLL as a result. This is the truly most instructive one I have seen about how to truly play the game. I tend to sprint way to much in comparison to you and you just did an overall terrific job on instructing playing both with a rifle and as AT even though I have not tried AT yet. The rifle portions were extremely helpful.
this video shows me two things:
1. You are really good!
2. The M1 Garand has a HUGE advantage over the K98.. I tend to play Axis Rifleman because I am a noob and holy crap it is so hard to master shooting with a realistically cycling bolt action UGH. You should do a commentary video on using K98!
Edit: Just watched the Windmill vid, you were smoking fools with the K98! But If you feel like posting more K98 vids i wont be mad ;)
The M1 is basically a cheat code
Play assault or auto rifleman. Medic is also a good class, you get the k98 and a pistol for cqb.
Man fantastic video. You deserve way more subs. I'm new to the game. It's so much more fun when your squad communicates.

Hahaha it's amazing the amount of new guys you see launch rockets at friendly armor. We all get confused which side we're on sometimes lol.
Once I played 3-4 matches in a row as german AT, and in the next match as US AT my brain made me shoot our own Sherman in the back and ofc it exploded. I was so frightened and ashamed that I left he server immediately

Absolutely amazing video. The taking your time and being patient helps SO MUCH!!! I started off with 4-5 kills in a average game, with a k/d ratio of 0.32 usually. Now I'm getting 17 kills on average, with a k/d of 3.71!!! Great video mate. Well done👊👍

What I love about this game and it’s community is that I’ve ended up being an officer despite being new. People have been helpful and the videos available are good quality.
But rather than rushing in and dying I made sure OP’s and Garrisons are down. And I’m spotting as much as possible and coordinating the squad based on command comms.
So I’m feeling valuable despite maybe not having a high amount of kills.
New to HLL, been at it now for 2 weeks. Great tips Thank you!

I've had the same question forever now. I've only seen one, now 2, people do a commentary over their gameplay. I think his name was harvygg, pubg vids. It just makes sense if someone makes tips and gameplay videos. Sure you told us how you do something, but the mindset of why you're doing something would be a lot more helpful. Loved the vid, subscribed and anxious to see if you made more.
Cheers. Blowing up tanks looks satisfying, I won't play as anti tank just yet, but I'll use the tips in this video. I'm still a noob. I just like being part of a squad and having a good leader. Unfortunately it's hard to find a vocal squad leader as I'm new and don't know anyone. They're much more enjoyable games when you're not just doing your own thing. Thanks brother! If you're up for it try squad Leading! You sound like me when I started the game. I can't stand looking at the map and seeing no one doing what needs to be done.
A lot of videos for HLS are at the meso level, which is good. I needed something like this at the micro level and it helped a lot. I jumped into a game after this and got my most kills ever and actually felt like i knew what I should doing.

Great vid. The thing that stood out for me and that I really had to learn starting to play HLL is take your time. It's like hunting, just move slow and keep your eyes open.

Not sprinting to much is key. Once I started to walk with the gun pointed I started to notice and get more kills. Its just makes it easier to aim at the enemy faster

This game took me about 2 weeks to start getting 30+ kills per game. I realized it’s all about thinking ahead and not moving unnecessarily while keeping good lines of fire

Ur on ps5 how are u able to have ur ADS sensitivity so high while still landing most of ur shots a big issues for me is I miss shot I should be landing by usually over leading my target what’s are ur sensitivity settings for ur controller

Thanks for the good video. Question, when you reload so often are you losing the unspent rounds? I assumed you did so I haven't been reloading unless my mag is empty mostly.

That redeploy is something new players need to know especially when they are assaulting a locked base for no reason 😅

I’ve gotten a good grasp on how the game works but I just suck at aiming and killing. Is there anyway to practice aim. I love how everyone helps each other and how nice most commanders and officers are. They actually help you. I just have to get better at aiming.

Hahaha sounds like a good time man! Hopefully the PC version will port over the new PS5 controller soon. The adaptive triggers look really neat
@@operationfullsend8749 i assume they will, xbox had also done a poll for their users to see if they would be interested in duel sense. So i suspect in a year or so all 3 will have some form of it
Im a noob only had the game 2 weeks..the first was so brutal i deleted the game lol Im an Insurgency player so im used to the slower pace but this game was different so i decided to give it one last go and already im level 28 been moving slower and looking more at my surroundings and it's coming to me..i give it another month I'll have it down 100%!
Hey many I just started playing those game on console. I’m addicted to it and had a question. Is it really that hard to find a good SL I’ve been forced into it and really it just seems like you listen to commander and try to position the best you can.
How can you watch enemies from afar? I find it very difficult to see them
That was some great gameplay and I really enjoyed the analysis !
However you seem to reload too frequently and that's just wasting bullets. It's almost always better to just empty the whole clip if you're in the middle of combat.

The gripe I have is that I get sniped literally everywhere even without moving and even a direct sight lineup doesn’t yield a hit
One time I was defending doing what your doing just trying to stop their advance hunker down and defend and some guy was getting upset and called me a camper he was like you gotta move bro we need help as I’m downing dudes coming in and he runs off then gets hit dead on with an artillery shell and pieces of him fly everywhere lol

If you want a WW2 Video game experience that is what a hardcore battlefield should be, this is the game for you.

200 Hrs and i still feel completely useless...
Lack of communication, lack of nodes on the right spot, lack of map awareness and markings, lack of garries, squads not staying together and a too high pace will loose the game, over and over again.
No such thing as camping in HLL for me, its not a run & gun type of game like COD/Battlefield.
Just to let you know you cannot kill you own tank with a AT or another tank I tried lol

How do you know when you are defending or attacking?
That is a great question. If your commander has designated attacker/defenders your squad lead will know. If your squad lead isnt communicating you have no way of knowing. I typically just play around my squad leads Outpost if they aren't communicating.

10:30 but did you though? You killed like 5 attackers and before you went on that rampage you had like 4 friendlies around. To me it's more like your team let you down.
wasting a lot of bullets changing your mag after firing 1-2 shots lol
This game doesn't take a lot of storage 14gb on Xbox I don't think it really matters whether it has an animation for the number of bullets left in your mag but it works like cod with those extra bullets going back into your reserve.
