acura reliability has been below average for years now and this has less power and technology than mercedes and lexus. They don’t make a single hybrid or plug in hybrid.
Funny one of the reasons I went with the ‘24 was that it had the outlet for the second row. Definitely interested in how you installed that and the front washer
Logged over 43k miles on my tlx which i love....looking to get this for the wife in the spring when dealers are stuck with them. Was hoping for more of a driving impression ie steering, handling, acceleration, etc. Nice color choice.
It’s coming. In the 4 weeks I’ve owned it, I haven’t had a ton of seat time with it but I’m taking it on a 1000 mile road trip and comparing it to an MDX Hybrid this weeklong so should give me a little more detail that might make a little more sense.
Very beautiful vehicle I like Acura very nice fit and finish I took one for a drive absolutely beautiful!!! One reason why I would never buy one, I would just stick with the Honda that is what I own now the Acura just don't hold their value if you go trade it in you won't get much for it The Hondas hold their value you can buy them driving for a couple years and still get a very good return on them stick with the Honda!!!
They're great driving vehicles. Nice torque, super comfy ride, awesome audio system. Terrible fuel economy and limited to 110mph and that can't be tuned out, yet.
Congratulations! So what about your RLX Sport Hybrid? What do you like more and why?Music also) Great car, but..!!! Should be improved: - capatain chairs should have personal hand rest as Honda Odyssey has! Otherwise it is stupid solution! - fuel consumption. Give us Sport Hybrid - too much of shiny black plastic - true touchpad or control wheel together with touchscreen to navigate while driving - power should be improved for these money
@503pdxCars You said rear storage well the same in MDX as in Pilot. You had TrailSport trim correct? But the other Pilot trims like Elite and Black Edition have deep well that can stowaway 2nd Row Center seat underneath. So I'm I correct the MDX still can't do this?
@@fredmoss4540yes. And great observation since my reference point is solely on the TS trim. The MDX (as far as I’m aware) still cannot house the center seat in any of their trims like the non TS pilot can
@@503pdxCars Would appreciate a video on some of the items you were able to get such as Front Cam Spray Washer and AC115V in the center console. Nice video.
ACURA, PLEASE BE FAIR BY KEEPING ALL POSTED COMMENTS AND NOT REMOVING NEGATIVE COMMENT. We just bought a top of the line 2025 MDX type S , out the door $88,118. We were so disappointed to find out when we got home that there was no spare tire included. From a safety standpoint, in case the tire exploded, or got a puncture blowout caused by big sharp object where self-sealing tires would not work, we had to buy a spare tire kit (wheel and tools) from Acura, plus a spare tire at Les Schwab and installed by them. The total cost was $500. Please beware of no spare tire comes with the MDX type S model. You could deal with your dealer to have it installed before agreeing to buying the car.
Great Vid. Very informative form a use perspective. Thanks
That's a beautiful ride!
And this is why I respect Honda Japan so much more. They’re not giving out crv type rs, hrv type rs, pilot type rs because there’s meaning
You mean Honda UsA. All acuras are made in ohio.they don’t exist in japan,
They gave the stupid ZDX a type S title. How stupid is that? The ZDX is not even a full Honda car. And only 9HP more than the regular.

We checked the technology trim and this design looks extremely good, better than Mercedes BMW Lexus designs and offers top reliability

@ overall it’s still a very reliable brand and lower costs to maintain and insure. You can get only X3 or a two row Lexus if you buy those

Same with me choosing the 24 over the 25. Plus the front speakers being lid. I also actually like the palm rest on the 24.
@ yes I love the light up speakers and the palm rest.
Lovely ride! Which would you praise more, the Pilot Elite or MDX Advance Type-S?
Congrats, would love to get an A-Spec as a family car.

yea, much better deal to buy these two years old, cpo.
Ningún automóvil Premium mantiene su valor .. lo mejor es comprarlo a los 5 años de uso y mitad de su valor

How about the AC on the second row
I'll need to see how that holds up in the Summer. The AC in the pilot struggled at times for sure
Una belleza ❤ de suv
Very nice.
Saweeeet!
Type S-weet?

You meant to say the Integra type s for the yellow tach needle.
Nope, Integra Type R is what the yellow needle began on. It's a nice easter egg the yellow needles are used on some of the Type S models now though
Beautiful car! What’s your average gas mileage ?
It's pretty much in line with the EPA ratings - 21 highway
16.6 mpg, mainly local with tons of traffic lights.

That's correct, no spare tire. I just installed one, uploading the video this weekend. Enjoy your MDX!
Bro you could have cleaned that trash on the floor out in the rear a bit before doing the review...LOL.
