I remember back in the day people saying that the Japanese bikes were fragile and would never last beyond a few years. Couldn't have been wronger. I love the classic Japanese machines from the seventies. Golden Era.

They make a unmistakable sound those old Honda twins.back in the 80s when they changed the English learner laws from 250 to 125cc, nobody wanted a 250 anymore.in London there was hundreds of them laying in front gardens, years went by and they sat unwanted.i used to go around the houses and knock the door wherever I found them.most people sold them or gave them to me,I don't think I ever payed more than £50.all makes and models, some needed a bit of work others just battery and petrol.if I had them now or could have kept them I'd be rich.i used to build chops, bobbers, scramblers or just ride as they were.good times, halcyon daze.

My current main squeeze is a 73 CB350 the same color as this bike. Had 4500 miles on it when I got it. It is my daily mode of transportation at the moment. I am madly in love with it.

I had that model when I was in high school. Had a lot of fun on it. Unbeatable bikes they were all over the place back then.

Excellent video in which Kaplan pays a high tribute to Honda motorcycles and this one Honda bike is a perfect example. Excellent job by Kaplan Cycles and his great staff. Thank you Kaplan Cycles for your presentations that always score 100 points..!!

You should replace the exhaust pipes with originals. The side covers are also faded and are easily found online NOS.

I knew a guy who ran a garage, just around the corner from my home, who owned a slightly later one of these in olive green {and later a CB500 Four}. I don't know if he's still alive. He married late in life and the woman in question took him to the cleaners, financially speaking. If he is still above ground, he likely has a bicycle now.
    Regards from Wales.

Why am I yearning for a bike I've already owned 50 years ago? Ashamed to confess I'm riding an electric scooter these days. That said, some of my friends look like they'll be riding wheelcahirs soon, so I'm not complaining.

He keeps saying "the original grips". I assure you... those are NOT the original grips. The original grips had a rather large ridge on on the inside and outside of them, and they were flat throughout their length. The grips on this bike do not have that outer ridge, and have an arched profile in the middle.
