My plate got bent and the screw piece broke off. I had to create a new hole, but the plate ended up a bit shorter. The machine could not read the pinch roller. By moving the little black pad forward, the machine is printing again. Thank you for the valuable information you provided and the time you took to make this video.

I cannot change my bn20 clamp because the screw is so tight and as it is difficult to access impossible to unscrew using any force. My blades kept breaking after one use and I discovered it is due to the left media clamp. For some reason that screw is so tight and impossible to undo. Any suggestions would be welcome as I have been unable to print and cut for over a year.

Update... Finally got that screw out! Put a few drops around the screw of WD 40 let it seat for some hours, use a perfect fit screw driver and done. Back to printing and cutting! 👍🏼

@@carlosshorago1759 Oh good. I did that but no luck so far. Will leave it to soak in for a few days. What size screwdriver. None of mine fit exactly.

I'm currently having the same issue with the screw being so tight. I'll try that WD 40 to see if that works. Hopefully, I will update with some good news. Thank you so much for your video.

Roland printer/cutters are not well engineered and somehow notoriously hard to do some user maintenance. Head manual cleaning is same difficult area procedure like in Roland printers over 15 years (have experience with SP540). I don't know why Roland engineers do not come up with more easier way of manual cleaning printhead (like being able to flip the head 90 percent to be front facing).... I have a feeling this is intentionally by design for normal people to spend money of changing expensive heads (DX7) because of not be able to clean printhead areas properly. I have BN-20 with 90 percent good print because of printhead suddenly not printing good and print test showing missing black and cyan printlines, eventhough my printhead is regularly cleaned and spotless. Having such expensive printhead (dx72000 $) compared tp previous dx4 $650 is tragic to say atleast.
