Heads up, UA-cam just rolled out a terrible new feature called Stable Volume that will wreck the sound quality if you don't turn it off. It's in the Video settings (the gear icon on the video, under Additional settings, at least on Android.) The toggle is super touchy and took a few attempts to turn off, and it turned itself right back on again, so I had to do it again.
This was a cosy delight. As a librarian, I was inspired by the well curated collection of titles and the engaging displays as well as the tea and vibes. Thank you!
So different from the usual videos. I really liked that this one had a great combination of voiceover, in video sounds, as well as natural conversation. Felt as real as if I were there. Absolutely wonderful.

You always see bookstore roleplays, but having a video of the authentic experience is so much better. Something about the more natural atmosphere is more calming to me. Great job on it.

Interesting that Justin mentioned the designs on the book “ The Great Gatsby” were inspired by William Morris. I drive by The William Morris Gallery on the way to work every night in a town called Walthamstow in London. There’s also a nice pub named after him😀

Edit: when you rang the bell and he popped up from behind the desk...I burst out laughing - it isn't even 5 am as I lay here writing this and I'm laughing and smiling. While relaxing and sleeping are vital, an unexpected laugh is just as good for the soul.

Lining up books on a bookshelf by patting them is literally the video I’ve been searching for for years.
Too bad the B. Dalton, Walden Books and Borders bookstores went out of business near me. Now I have to go to the huge Barnes & Noble at the Irvine Spectrum. It's a two story building with a full Starbucks Coffee cafe and restrooms. I miss the crowded isles with books overflowing the shelves. Even the lighting is so bright that it makes it uncomfortable to read. The orange or yellow light made it cozy.

What a wonderful video! Book sounds of any kind have always been some of my strongest triggers but bookstore sounds are actually much different than library sounds. This definitely makes me miss my years as a very young adult working in a bookstore (and makes me want to go back into one asap lol).

This is one of my favourite videos you’ve ever made and one of my favourite ASMR videos by any ASMR channel. It’s absolutely sublime. The store itself is so ASMR friendly and Justin is a credit to himself and the store. And it’s kind of weird to see so much of you. Weird in a good way.
