I had this OOT player’s guide when first playing through the game back in 1998-1999. I must admit I stopped short of finishing OOT back then after reaching Ganondorf’s castle because I didn’t want it to end.
I used to bring this players guide to elementary school and read it. So cool i get to see it again for the first time in years
I have this exact same guide. It brought back some good memories of reading it late at night, excited to play the next day.
I was like 8 years old when I had both this guide and the n64. I would draw some of the art in the book. Talk about nostalgia.
I used to have both this and the other Ocarina of time strategy guides, then my parents threw them away😢 love this video

Yes! I'm a huge Zelda fan, Ocarina of Time was the game that got me into the series. I have so many great memories of playing it with my family when I was a kid, I must have played through and fully completed it over twenty times. I had the official Guide for Ocarina of Time when I was a kid, I barely ever used it to help me with the game, I just loved looking at the artwork. Your voice is so soothing, thanks for this nostalgic video!
@@FallingUpASMR It really is. There's something so special about Ocarina of Time, it pretty much set the standard for 3d adventure games, and established the gameplay and story for the Zelda series going forward. Even Breath of the Wild, as much as it is a departure from traditional Zelda, it still retains the gameplay style that Ocarina of Time established and just puts it into the fully open world of Hyrule that Zelda was always envisioned to have.
I had that book back in junior high. Man the nostalgia.

I didn't grow up with Zelda cause I never had a nintendo.
Weirdly, now that I have played them, I feel a strange sense of nostalgia, even though I've never played them as a kid, I guess it's just those kind of masterpieces.

My favorite Zelda games are Breath of the Wild, The Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, A Link to the Past, Minish Cap, Skyward Sword. One week in, im loving Tears of the Kingdom. I've enjoyed all the Zelda games except for Zelda II.

Miss Falling Up: I discovered ASMR and YOU( besides a plethora of "others") a little less than 2 years ago. YES, there are "Racy" asmr videos, and a Vast array of asmr offerings all over the internet and youtube. I personally find your VOICE, and particularly your "game store" videos extremely relaxing. Thank you for your diligence. We all know some of all these "asmr" videos can be contrived and somewhat not exactly as Real Life plays it out. Your Voice, your meticulous attention to the slightest detail, really does the trick for me. I can lay my phone near my ear on my pillow, and YOU---yes--YOU----"Miss Falling Up", can send me to a state of relaxation and comfort, better than ALL the "stuff" out here in ASMRland. This is MY Gift to you, my words of appreciation. It is not much, but its the best I can do in return for you. Please keep up your faith in what you do, and I bid you health, peace, and Love in your Life. These words are Long overdue! PS---I listen to your videos, but I WATCH them to their completion too!

It's so hard to find good soft spoken asmr I find. So glad to find this channel. Plus Zelda ocarina of time is my all time favourite game too! I wish we got more old style traditional games instead of the new breath of the wild style open world sandbox. Hopefully a full scale ocarina remake soon. Keep up the good videos, you're doing a great job 😃
Those guides always looked so cool on the GameStop shelves, but to a small kid they were quite expensive, and as I was born into the internet age I never really needed to pay to get help in my games. I don't have a single one.

Love you, Miss! Not much of a gamer but I grew up with Nintendo etc. SEGA that came with Shinobi was my first system. Got it for Christmas. NES was best lol I was kinda disappointed. Got that next. Super Mario Bros. 3 was a big day! Got that I was stoked. Love your voice and your content. One of a kind for sure.

I had this book when I was 13. I bought it because I couldn't figure out Jabu Jabu 😅. I took this book to bed every night to read. I was obsessed with it. Eventually it was getting pretty beat up and the cover started coming off. I'm not sure what happened to it, I probably threw it out years later. I wish I still had it.

Zelda Link to the past on SNES and Links Awakening on original gameboy are my favorites. Really liked Wind Waker. For some reason I have never played Ocarina of time nor any of the new games other than the 3DS game Link between Worlds which also was very good.
