- Ivara + Zenistar was a rather popular combo back in the day but I haven't seen anyone run it with wrathful advance and violet shards, and since I'm all about weird builds I just had to give it a try. If you're looking for a semi-afk build, you're gonna love this one! 🛸

I'm so confused. I'll try this later but I don't have kullervo yet so it probably wont work.
I am running this now, and having a blast! I only have one purple shard at the moment, so I'm also using a normal red shard too, a blue for extra armor and amber for energy orb effectiveness. I don't really understand how to keep it going by building combo. I was trying to use the zenistar without the disc whilst it spun (when not using navigator) but I guess you can't really use it without the disc coming back?
Anyway, thanks. This inspired me to start rolling a zenistar riven. Do you think Initial combo and maybe range would be a good idea for a zenistar riven using this build?
You can use the blade to build combo while the disc is spinning, that's exactly what I do. I basically wait for arcane vortex to group up enemies and hit them with the blade a couple of times and voila! And yeah, both initial combo and range are very useful on the Zenistar!

Nice video, I used to throw the disk out so much before they linked the timer to the combo count.
How are you maintaining your combo counter? With the Zenistar you can only increase it with blade attacks so are you using naramon with tandem bond on the panzer?
@@qvivnb Naramon, tandem bond, primary dexterity, secondary dexterity and Rauta with accuracy and multishot mods :)

Yes and no. There are a couple of other frames that can turn the zenistar into a beast but Ivara is the only one with navigator (her second ability), so you won't achieve the exact same results when using other frames. Any frame that can boost your weapon's dps and/or attack speed will do nicely. I'd recommend trying out Valkyr, Kullervo, Mirage, Rhino and maybe even Voruna.

How come it doesnt burn thru energy? There is cost per melee hit in prowl? When i try i am dry in 10s
Is empowered quiver doing some of the heavy lifting, or is it the 5 violet tau shards? Basically, can i replicate the results on other frames?
Unlikely, Empowered quiver just gives extra crit damage, with the 370% from the Shards this is not impossible to make up for. The real bonus is the multiplicative damage bonus from navigator, which stack multiplicatively with base damage mods and crit damage. Don't think any other frames have a multiplicative damage multiplier like that.

I can think of a couple of other frames that can turn Zenistar into a beast (Mirage, Rhino, maybe even Voruna), but Ivara will always be the queen of exploiting weapons, especially if there are projectiles involved, I don't think you will ever be able to achieve such numbers with other frames.

Been a while since I used Zeni. Does the disk need to return before we can get combo back? Or can the combo keep building while disk is out and throw again once time runs out?
You can keep building while the disc is out there doing it's thing, also melee vortex makes it super easy since enemies are usually grouped up so sometimes it just takes one swing to get to 12x
@@cephalonvashka Does the magnetic value need to be higher then other status? or will it still proc a lot with lower value?
@@KillahX669 So I just did some testing and I can confirm that it doesn't have to be higher. Thanks to weeping wounds, you proc magnetic pretty much all the time.

I'm not sure that I even understand how this build works. Do you have it in hand to at least see what mods are involved?

what do you mean it doesn't launch? you get 10 seconds per combo multiplier.
@@cephalonvashka I hit the heavy attack with the sword and nothing happens. No disk is launched.
