Is there a Saginaw fishing show coming up? Looking forward to seeing you and Michigan Panfish Slayers as well as others. Thanks for the vid Lowell and taking us along.
@@LTOutdoors15 As much as I love living vicariously through your videos, I need to fish asap. Bringing my saw, got my spear up there. Never done that before. LT tip up rigs, decoys and some plastics. Ill try and get some pics.
If I don't know where the drop offs are I usually start there or at least look for structure. More often then not on lakes with 20' or more the bigger panfish will be schooled somewhere in the middle of the water column. If it's generally a shallow lake the fish will be anywhere there is still weeds or structure. Most the lakes I ice fish I scout during open water months to get an idea of depths and drops
Normally this would be a first ice bite but after freezing and thawing like it did we're more in a mid winter bite which can definitely be tougher. Have to move around alot and find active fish.
You should do another video on cleaning blue gills and crappie. Heck of a day fishing. Awesome
I can do that. Thanks Don!

Is there a typical depth or typography your looking for when fishing LT?

@josephlaudon you're welcome!
Was on fletchers yesterday for 6 hours and got nothing :/
😬
Can you eat pike?
Absolutely, just have to know how to fillet them. I have instructional videos on here
I'm striking out on my lake in my usual way points spots. I'm not sure. What's going on? Drilled 17 holes the other day.
