“Royal Belum” Have you ever heard of this Shangri-la in Malaysia 🇲🇾?The Royal Belum State Park is a huge park in the northern parts of Peninsular Malaysia which spread over 117,500 hectare and is estimated to be more than 130 million years old 🙀, thus making it older than the Amazon rainforest in South America. There is only one main river system, Sungai Perak that originates from the Perak-Kelantan border in the north-east and flows southward to the Straits of Malacca at Bagan Datoh.
