From Wikipedia:
Paterson (/ˈpætərsən/ PAT-ər-sən[) is the largest city in and the county seat of Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the city was the state's third-most-populous municipality, with a population of 159,732, an increase of 13,533 (+9.3%) from the 2010 census count of 146,199, which in turn reflected a decline of 3,023 (-2.0%) from the 149,222 counted in the 2000 census.[28] The Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program calculated that the city's population was 157,794 in 2021, ranking the city as the 163rd-most-populous in the country.
Paterson has been known as the Silk City for its once-dominant role in silk production during the latter half of the 19th century. It has since evolved into a major destination for Hispanic immigrants as well as for immigrants from Turkey, the Arab world, and South Asia. Paterson has the nation's second-largest per capita Muslim population,[29] and between 75 and 100 languages are spoken in Paterson, many of them Arabic dialects.
Awesome tour of Paterson NJ
Thank you 1,000 times over. Just saw the home my grandmother used to own, those 4-5 homes just before the bridge scene. I used to fish from that bridge back in the late 50's, although even back then, I'm sure the fish were way below standards. Nothing but green water and tires, but it surely brought back the memories. Even back then, the smoke stacks were churning out toxic smoke, but what did we know. Please continue on with your great photography.....
Hey thats a pretty awesome comment, you wrote that in such a way that I felt like I was actually there. Sounds like a few great memories
Being that I'm from Paterson, NJ, it's not even that bad. Everyone stays to themselves and mind their business for the most part. Every city has pros and cons. No place is perfect. NJ is ranked one of the safest states for a reason. Great video!👍🏾
Na it’s bad bro lol
Bro stop the cap
NJ maybe, but Paterson is a cesspool of crime.
I’m from Paterson born an raised. The good an the bad. I love my city!❤

I was born in st Joseph hospital in 1961... I remembered Christmas as a little boy how the town would transform it was good times. Also would go to Falls View abd Libby's . Seeing the Submarine and the penn of deer by JFKs.
thanks for the video.
Looks nice to me
I'm first. Paterson, NJ is one of NYC's satellite cities in New Jersey, and the largest city and seat of Passaic County, NJ. However, I don't recommend that satellite city in New Jersey in the NYC area, but in terms of living, it's dangerous there, right?
That's what I've heard
I grew up In Paterson then I moved to prospect park nj
@@Siahrocks16, that is one Passaic County, NJ suburb neighboring Paterson, NJ to the north. What's interesting about that suburb is that it's a dry town and alcohol can't be sold there since 1978.
People are too sheltered and soft if they think Paterson is out of control.
Jesus Christ, I swear once people see even a bit of poverty and minorities instead of a shiny, boring suburb they think a place is a hellhole. Love the diverse restaurant scene and in Paterson.
man it looks so nicer in the vid being there rn its alot worse in person
I’ve been there four days for my Aunt Funeral, the sidewalks of Paterson is crooked and they don’t clean them like NYC.
I BEEN TO PATERSON DROVE MY CAR THERE THEN WALKED HOME.
I went to Paterson and stayed at an all-inclusive resort on Straight St for 3 months and my health insurance covered the bill
Cue Bruce Springsteen.
Lived in Paterson my whole life and its only getting worse, try night time through broadway
I live in newark 😂😂😂😂
Went here ONE time, place was scary looking, the crazy driving, houses etc unkept, trashy looking…
Not the best place to be driving around. Especially at night
