Hi ghost buster. For abstract ideas such as arguments, theories or concepts, the present tense is generally used. For concrete findings or conclusions, such as the results of a study or experiment, the past tense is generally used.
Next time you should start with the way to do it first then list the incorrect ways instead of building it up into an explanation..sorry it was a little bland
