I think a time will come when Micah's name will be spoken of in the same way Vic's is now... along with other beautiful, sad luminaries such as Jason Molina, Howard Devoto, Rowland S, et al. He is an extraordinary talent and a truly wonderful vocalist; one of my favourite ever. x

@theghostofchristmasp May have something to do with the fact that he's bastardizing alternative country by being talentless. I mean, it's great to come out with something new, but not being able to sing or play much doesn't constitute that. Ever heard his cover of Can't Help Falling in Love? Oh, it's fuckin' majestic. Enjoy it. It'll change your life. Or not. While you're on that track, check out Phil Roebuck. If I die tomorrow, I won't miss what happened to real artists. Love, them Southerners.
