Theres atleast one song per album, including TCB, where i start googling shit. Neil makes you think. The other 3 make you groove while you think. School should have been like this.
Great tune. I'm seeing comments from a few people hating because the lyrics are a recipe. My advice to them would be to put on the album The Elephant Riders, and go to track 7. That's right, Neil wrote a song about recycling bins. He has a sense of humor, get over it.
Dink Winkerson Exactly. Being so diverse in lyrical content is what makes Neil Fallon such a great lyricist. Great songwriters before him before him have had their humorous, tongue-in-cheek songs right along side of their more eloquent, articulate songs. Kind of like a lyrical yin and yang. Bob Dylan did it. His album Blonde On Blonde is a good example. "Rainy Day Women #12 and 35" is the opening track of the album. The "Everybody must get stoned" drug innuendo was so silly, you can hear Dylan laughing as he's singing it. Not his best lyrical work, but I'm sure it was responsible for turning some people onto Dylan; like "Green Buckets" turned you onto Clutch. Go to track #3, and that's the song "Visions of Johanna". Since Blonde On Blonde was released in 1966, "Visions of Johanna has been universally praised as a songwriting masterpiece. Having a sense of humor makes songwriters better. Better writing means better songs, and better songs mean better albums. Neil is a smart man, it's no accident that he writes the way he does.
There is a video where I think it's Neil Fallon's sister bakes a cake in the shape of an orange amplifier and brings it to Clutch while they're rehearsing for a gig! I think it might be from Ace of Cakes
I am so glad Neil still has his sense of humor! From tasty little nuggets of alien technology, to knickknack patty wack, they’ve all always been fantastic. Now we have a crabcake recipe!
Made my Delaware wife some crab bisque with some local Dungeness the other day...not the same as back east, but I think I did okay. Despite Neil's words, I do miss the jumbo lump.
I can't believe this is six years old already! Going to the Wye River the week after Labor Day for some serious face hugger hunting with my new trot line. Gaithersburg born; Chesapeake bred. Will be playing plenty of Clutch loud enough to draw the cabs to me.
Neil Fallon may be the only man who can take the recipe for crab cakes, put it to a blues rock track, and create a song you want to listen to on repeat. That's clutch for you always making great music from a muse that most would overlook a million times over.
Three minutes and thirty six seconds ago I was very stoned. Now, I am very stoned and very, very hungry! Praise Clutch, but this isn't fair. Where the hell am I going to find backfin Chesapeake crab at 2am? 🦀
Born and raised in PG County, Maryland. Crab is a fact of life in my family. This is hands down one of the coolest/funniest/best things I have ever seen on UA-cam.
Man, that's one bluesy, groovy jam! I LOVE IT! Who'd have thunk a recipe for crab cakes could turn into such a tasty morsel of a tune? Can't wait to hear the full album, I have a feeling this one'll be a doozy! Loved Psychic Warfare like I love my mommy, one of your greatest albums of all time, so I have high hopes for this one.
I love Clutch's lyrics about nature. Aside from Dragonfly I never noticed them before, then last week I took some mushrooms and listened to White's Ferry. Now I feel like a 100 million year old, transcendent creature.
This is the best metal recipe I've seen. Crab is indeed a tastey hot bottom feedaaaah. If you can find a better metal recipe for Maryland style crab cakes, pm me.
Who TF writes a rock song this badass about cooking dinner? My only question is why Neil didn't rock out a little bit with the cowbell after he served up dinner? I'm 45 now, the first time I saw these guys live was in Cincy at Bogart's in 96. They never get old, they never take it for granted. Not once have I ever seen them live and it ever seemed like "just another gig." They have never taken it for granted that they're as good, and now as iconic as they are, and it comes through every time they hit the stage. Long live rock, and these are carrying the torch!
Ha! Was catching up (being cheap/wife wouldn’t go with me) on Super Troopers2. Didn’t wanna ruin rhythm... as soon as it was over though.... tha riff though!!
I feel like this was a dare... Clutch: We can right a song about anything... Other person: Ok, Prove it... right a song about MD crab cakes... Clutch: Hold my beer... it's empty anyway
Nice 9:30 club shirt ahhh memories of almost dying on 695 south to go see clutch open for system of a down and slayer back in 99 best night of my life and I wasn't even 21 yet
Well thank goodness their new single "Slaughter Beach" pays homage to horseshoe crabs, I was getting worried that Clutch were losing their interest in mollusks!
i have been listening to Clutch since 2012, yea, not that long, you might think. It happened that I haven't seen a music video from Clutch till now. To say I am surprized - that would be an understatement. But, you know, I love it
So... first off I love this song. So,excited for the new album. I also agree with the message of this song ESPECIALLY the part of getting your seafood locally sourced .. HOWEVER you really don't want to eat things from the Chesepeake estuaries. I recently saw the white clam population is doing horrible in the bay 8 years ago BP poisoned the Gulf of Mexico not only from the oil itself but the Corexit sprayed to clean it up. It only took 18 months for it to spread across oceans. I love the message of locally sourced foods but it's not safe to eat that crab from the Chespeake.
Neil makes the best crab cakes ever--I know because I am his sweet and loving mother.
; )
Thanks for giving your son to the world. Been listening for over 20 years.
If that is true then just THANK YOU 🙏
Gail. Thanks for Neil. His music has been a constant soundtrack in my life.
Great musician too. :)
@@corythecrow Yup, he is!
I would purchase an entire album of recipes titled "Cooking with Clutch" without hesitation.
Damn straight
Maybe I'd cook more if recipes came on albums instead of books...
Tim Sult and the Grey Fin Tuna.
Straight up.
me too lol
"nothing makes me happier than seeing people mosh to a song about making crab cakes" -Neil Fallon.
Should see how hard the crowd goes for a song about recycling, Green Buckets
My sister -in-law is from Baltimore. She never heard of Clutch. Of course I had to show her this.
Did Clutch really just put a crab cake recipe into a song? Love these guys!
Indubitably
Fkin' Aey they did!! Masters of story telling music. Elephant Riders should get yah hooked
I listened to an awesome song, but also I learned a cool recipe. Clutch is entertaining and educational at the same time.
They should be on pbs
Entercational
Theres atleast one song per album, including TCB, where i start googling shit. Neil makes you think. The other 3 make you groove while you think. School should have been like this.
max300988 well said♥
Could also be used to teach middle shoolers

Green Buckets rules. So does this. It's more impressive to me that they can make kick ass rock and roll out of recycling bins and crab cakes.
...followed by a masterpiece that will, without fail, make you hungry!
they made a song about what a wookie would do

TheLasagneLP Great tune. That's one of the rare Clutch songs that says "Clutch" in the lyrics.
Only Clutch could make a great song about crabcakes!!!👍🏻🍻
FinnMoon Ratzo now they need a music video about how to make beer and whiskey.
They could call the beer song Cold bottle chugger
The ambassador of the divided States of America haha! 👍🏻🍻😆 goin to see them in Philly end of Oct!
they are AMAZING live...
thatguyhippie agreed!!! Gonna see them in Philly the 26th!👍🏻🍻
Even more Proof that Clutch can sing about anything and make it sound amazingly badass.
Let's make Cooking With Clutch a thing!
Get Neils' sis in on that lol
Fran Lovel Šimić this needs to happen!!
There is a video where I think it's Neil Fallon's sister bakes a cake in the shape of an orange amplifier and brings it to Clutch while they're rehearsing for a gig! I think it might be from Ace of Cakes
El Burrito oh shit, did not know that, will look into it!
I second this!
I am so glad Neil still has his sense of humor! From tasty little nuggets of alien technology, to knickknack patty wack, they’ve all always been fantastic. Now we have a crabcake recipe!
Would you offer a growing fan examples? I saw them last month and it was magic. Weirdest song I've seen start such a violent mosh!
Red rover red rover Bob Lazars coming over …for them crab cakes
I never thought I would cook a recipe from a music video. It was acutally really damn good.
Clutchin' in the kitchen. Crisp humor and saucy tunes. Good stuff. I'll have seconds.
a music video and a cooking video in one, I love clutch.
I'm listening to a recipe being read out and it's one of the goddamn grooviest things I've heard in a while.
Gonna enjoy some Blues today, it's our summer pool party at work! Gotta love being a Marylander.
Best cooking show ever.
Made my Delaware wife some crab bisque with some local Dungeness the other day...not the same as back east, but I think I did okay. Despite Neil's words, I do miss the jumbo lump.
That's it, we've just hit maximum Maryland.
I can't believe this is six years old already! Going to the Wye River the week after Labor Day for some serious face hugger hunting with my new trot line. Gaithersburg born; Chesapeake bred. Will be playing plenty of Clutch loud enough to draw the cabs to me.

The sheer dirtiness of that guitar tone is far filthier than anything you'll find in a can. 🤘
That is an awesome Coozie. Crab places in Maryland should play this in a constant loop.
Crabcakes and Clutch, that's what Maryland does!
Tom P you goddamn right!!!!!
Amen!!!
Fucking classic! Well done Sir
Maryland #1 for life
Anywhere where the state flag is the most bad ass design in the country and jousting is the state sport is ok with me.
Daniel Östblom how many of their albums have you heard?
Never thought Clutch would write me a love song
CLUTCH NEVER DISAPPOINTS
Three more true words have never been written. \m/
I love Clutch's lyrics about nature. Aside from Dragonfly I never noticed them before, then last week I took some mushrooms and listened to White's Ferry. Now I feel like a 100 million year old, transcendent creature.
Who else has ever rocked a recipe? I am gaining muy respect and admiration for this outfit.
Another Great Song & Video & now recipe to for some awesome crab cakes thanks Neil and clutch
This is genius. Watched 4 times in a row, shown all friends.
Tool's brownie recipe just fell to the number two spot on my all time favorite recipe songs list.
Only Clutch could make a kick ass jam, and a killer crab cake recipe.
How many other rock songs are there whose lyrics are a recipe? I love these guys!
Productive gastronomy with Clutch
An entire song about making crabcakes. This is why I love Clutch.
More Cookin' with Clutch please!
This is the best metal recipe I've seen. Crab is indeed a tastey hot bottom feedaaaah. If you can find a better metal recipe for Maryland style crab cakes, pm me.
Never felt more badass making crab-cakes.

Clutch can literally make a great song about anything
I was in such a terrible mood, and then this happened.
I am now hungry.
Clutch making a cooking tutorial looking so badass is something that we didn't know we needed
I love what the new producer did with your sound! All sharp and fuzzy, I can dig it
The almighty Clutch is hired
6 years later and I still say M-AY-O-NAEZ every time I make a sandwich.
Woke up today with a hankering for some Crabcakes. No joke, I'm gonna make this recipe today .

Ha! Was catching up (being cheap/wife wouldn’t go with me) on Super Troopers2. Didn’t wanna ruin rhythm... as soon as it was over though.... tha riff though!!
They call him the Fastest Click in the West.
One of my favorite things about this band is that they have SO MANY music videos and they're all awesome
Everyone:You can't make a song about cooking a crab
Cutch: Observe
After 12 years of music-less addiction I'm now rediscovery Clutch and they're just a good as I remember. I'm absolutely loving catching up!!
You know ur badass when you can make a rockin ass song about crab cakes...
This is the most wholesome thing I've ever seen. I believe this is clearly the correct way to teach cooking.
How many bands have been together 30 plus years and just keep getting better?
Food Network should be ALL OVER this! Another cool Clutch song with yet another cool twist that makes us all better people for checking it out.
This is why Clutch is the best band in the world. No bones about it.
As a chef and Clutch fan I absolutely LOVE everything about this.
Well hot damn happy Friday
Always love a clutch jam.....and now I know how to make crab cakes....life is good friends
The surreptitious cowbell really seals the deal.
Greetings from Salisbury MD! 10-04 on the crab cakes!!
I feel like this was a dare...
Clutch: We can right a song about anything...
Other person: Ok, Prove it... right a song about MD crab cakes...
Clutch: Hold my beer... it's empty anyway

The best BLUES- FUNK- METAL Band in the Land!!!!
Well thank goodness their new single "Slaughter Beach" pays homage to horseshoe crabs, I was getting worried that Clutch were losing their interest in mollusks!
If clutch put out an entire album of recipes like this it would make cooking so much better
Great, now I have to find the deep, spiritual message in a Crab-cake recipe.
Good song.
Only CLUTCH can turn a recipe into a song!👍 🔥 I can't wait to make some o dat good stuff! Thanks from Canada
Recipe of the century. Genius song, great music video. Clutch is a litter of snakes and what helps me switch gears.
ALL HAIL THEE ALMIGHTY CLUTCH

You guys are the best..period

Or recycling bins
Maybe some green buckets

Musical and culinary arts at their finest.

1st time a song ever made me gleek. Love them crab 🦀 cakes!
😂 Neil you're a crack up. you're welcome for dinner anytime mate.
God this is fucking awesome. Even more so by the fact I live an hour away from the Chesapeake. Plus the band is from Germantown, which is double plus.
🦀 🦀
Neil understands how awesome crabs are. Given enough time evolution will make a crab.
Neil I will order two!
Ooooohhh new song!!!!
kind of .. you know what i mean
I never thought I needed a Clutch cookery programme/song in my life but here we are...
The all mighty Clutch strikes again!
Petition to have Neil Fallon replace cooking show hosts and he get his own show
Turns out he only has the one recipe, and survives on a steady diet of crustaceans. -_^
Please make all my recipes this way - I would totally buy this as an old school Blu Ray. Rock Out with your Clutch Cook Book out!
I want to see Gordon Ramsay react to this.
immikeurnot he’d probably say, it’s fuckin Raw, um the music i mean🤟🏻
He would for sure approve of "Get em from the Chesapeake, but never from the can"
"When did Kentucky Fried FUCKING Chicken start serving crabcakes?! Fuck's sake . . . " (his words, not mine)
noone cares
