Beautiful, just BEAUTIFUL. HW finally got rid of those ugly rivets inside of the castings. I really hope they do this for basic cars too...
Dark tinted windows cover "a multitude of sins," or at least the design elements that give you _the Ick._
Few things ruin the illusion like looking inside a cool wagon and seeing an awful giant post in the middle, yep.

Ok, it seems only Blazer has those. Man they are ugly.
@@NorthernRoadsRacing do you refer to the parts of the base that come down along the inside of the wheel hubs and almost touch the ground? Those get obnoxious on many off road vehicles, yes!!
@@Chris_Hood yeah, I guess they are some sort of axle crush limiters or whatever. They are huge in that one vehicle.

This is the case when all the cars from this set look simply great and very attractive, especially on those cracking plastic wheels. I hope Hot Wheels will continue in the same spirit

Saw a lot of trucks like these growing up back in the '90s, the town I lived in had an off road center up on a hilly incline and the parking lot was packed with these monsters! So awesome!

I literally just picked up a set right now at Walmart (Murrieta,Ca) they easily had 30 of these tubular truck series on the pegs. Snagged an extra Toyota pick up… My favorite out of the whole set.

@@wildro95 Sure you do. Every time the new flavors of the month come out we have so many collectors that proclaim silly stuff. Like the best ever, incredible, 😂 these are beautiful just beautiful. Blah blah blah. Next month there will be another set that everyone will act like it's the bestest release ever.
These are cool but they are not anything all that special. They look like hot wheels and are constructed like hot wheels.

Uhhh, "yay" for a new wheel type, the Off Road Steelies--watch out for the chrome accents on the edges to rub off quickly with minimal handling though.
A missed opportunity for a real world manufacturer on the tyres, guess that eats too much profit.
Yet another singleton casting per case, where others have multiple. _De Facto_ chases again.
The pickups are cool enough--if I find those in the wild, awesome-sauce!

Very nice castings I will be lucky if I get one and the rest gets taken and put on eBay for sale for about 10 $15 which is not fair why everybody goes in and takes every one of them to be honest I used to collect. I’m getting back into it, but it’s so hard because when you want to finish out a set most of them are on eBay people is so greedy when I used to collect that never happened because there was no such thing as eBay

Fake ground clearance they’re no higher than a normal HW. 40 years ago they had rubber tyres at least.
