This is a great summation of the game, thanks. As you say, Psi Ops is mostly a great game, one of my favourites on the original XBox. It's a real enjoyable game, with good graphics, an OK story (at least by the standard of action games), the powers are really fun to use, and this is one of the very few games where the boss battles are actually fun to play. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who want to play a good and extremely enjoyable third person shooter.
On the minus side, the game's enjoyment level goes right down when you unlock the last power, so I usually stop playing at that point. And the game ends on a cliff hanger, which is a real shame because of course no sequel ever came out to continue the story.
Anyway, great video, and I've now subscribed, and will look through your other videos as we seem to like some of the same games.

For sure, those last two levels are kind of duds. They aren't without their charms, but Aura View seems to have been thrown in last minute. I think it could have been better utilized as a way to see through walls, though that might negate the Remote View power.

I was just reminded the other day this game turned 20. I couldn't believe it. I remember as a teen first trying it out on a demo disc along with the Riddick game, (which also just turned 20) and knew I had to have both games after that. I think I spent a lot of time in the training room just messing with the powers. I kind of want to give it another playthrough again. Its also nice to see someone remember this game for its 20th.

That's likely the same demo disc I had played. I do remember being blown away by Riddick, as well. Just a thoroughly excellent game.

It took me sooo long to get the levitation controls ironed out. Spent way too long in that tutorial wondering why I couldn't pass the box challenge. XD

I don't quite remember how it felt on a gamepad, but on PC, everything worked with the mouse. It was a little awkward as you have to use Alt and Shift for Down and Up, but it's definitely really smooth.
