Looks like they got on pretty well for a first introduction. He's a handsome guy - maybe not quite as regal as Uncle Buster, but reasonably chill all the same.

I think he's a very beautiful Maine Coon, but he doesn't have as nice and fluffy fur as Buster right now. Probably because he is un-neutered.
I can actually see the resemblance, a lot. I love Freya’s colors and they get more interesting every time I see her. So unique. 💕

Well didn't that go well! They were both so accepting of each other, Freya has a lot of the daddy about her face. He seems to have a kind x friendly temperament. A new family line of well adjusted kittens going out into the world!

Dad looks like a teenager, maybe because he`s not neutered. But he is beautiful, and most important, he has a good character.
Yes, maybe so. Since he is un-neutered he also doesn't have as nice and fluffy fur like Buster. But I think he is a very beautiful and special cat 🙂
@@Maine_Coon_Kittens At the first look i thought "what an anorexic teenager" 😇 and he seems to be ticklish or doesn`t like to be touched on some points of his body. His protest meows were too cute 🥰 and his belly fur is like a curtain, it looks funny.
He has very beautiful eyes and a calm character. Freya was a little shy, but also very friendly, she didn`t show her sassy side.
I`m not sure if he identified Freya as his daughter, but i know that Coonies are much more friendly to stranger cats than other breeds.
Yeah, they can be thinner and have not as good fur when they are not neutered. But he has such a cute face and eyes and he's a really nice cat. I can see a lot of him in Freya 🙂

He's almost 2.5 years old. Buster is a few months older than him
the tiniest blep @ 2:38 so adorable :) Freya's Dad is talkative, well-behaved but assertive, I can see how these qualities ended up showing in his kids characters :) Also, agree with other commenters, that Buster has a movie-star quality :) I've not watched Maine Coone cats videos prior to watching your channel (shocker!) so I thought they way Buster looked was just....standard. But boy oh boy, our Buster IS a very, very handsome male cat. And a lovely character most importantly :)

Wow❤ My oldest one, Puškin, died 1 and a half year ago,17 years old. He has always been so caring with all the kittens we had, even though he wasn't a dad. Was always patient and more caring than mom's were 😅

What a very composed young lady! She seemed to be quite at ease with her Dad, who is very good-looking, but I'm afraid my ❤️ belongs to Buster. Is it my imagination, or is Freya's coat showing more golden shades?
My heart is with Buster too, but the dad is also very beautiful 😸
Freya has started getting darker and the red parts (that she has from her dad) are also getting more visible.
But the light was kind of yellow in the room, so it can also be because of that 😅

Good first meeting. What is his name? How old is he? He looks young. He and Luna sure did create some pretty kittens. Freya did seem a bit more cautious and quieter than usual. Not sure if it was because of his presence as a new to her cat or if it was the new surroundings. Maybe a combination of both. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, it's natural to be a bit cautios in such a new situation. I think she handled it great 🙂

No one should be worried about giving feedback, critique or even negative comments on my videos. I almost never get offended or angry at that. I think it's good to hear all kinds of opinions because then I can learn and improve 🙂
@@Maine_Coon_Kittens If only more people in this world had that attitude, there would be much less animosity in this world. I've been a life long learner myself- I'm 74 ' and hope to keep learning as I get older. By the way, where are you located? You have such a neat back yard area.
I live in Sweden. I live in an apartment, so it's not exactly my own back yard, but it's still a nice place 🙂

Dad is remarkably chill. If you just brought another cat in this house, all hell would break loose. I can always tell when my cats see another cat outside...because my cats try to break the window to get to them.
I'm a big proponent of spaying and neutering and "Adopt, Don't Shop." The US has a huge excess cat population. All of my cats have been rescues...and spayed/neutered. What's the situation in Sweden? (I believe that's where you live.)
Yeah, I did keep close watch over them in the beginning to see if they were aggressive, but it went so well as you saw 😁
Well, there are shelter cats in Sweden. Mostly from lost cats running away from home or cats that end up there because their owners can't take care of them. We don't really have stray cat populations Sweden.
But I understand the problem and it's of course very good if people adopt those cats. It's just that Maine Coons are such fantastic cats and I really love the breed. So that's why I'm breeding them. And many people want this kind of cat too, so I'm glad I can make some new cat owners happy as well 🙂
@@Maine_Coon_Kittens My first cat probably had a lot of Maine Coon in him. (He was a rescue. Just showed up at my next door neighbor's door one night and wouldn't leave. I couldn't find an owner, so kept him. Afterward, my neighbor joked that he missed his real home by one house.) I loved that cat so much. He was my perfect cat. So I can understand loving them.

Thanks for sharing. Up until 3 years ago we had 10 rescue cats of our own, plus several fosters along the way. Sadly, due to old age arriving, and the usual diseases such as renal failure, we are now down to just one; and due to our own ages, can't take on anymore (so I watch Maine Coon Videos instead). We always implemented a 1-2 week separation each time we added another.
Agree though, still too many strays and unwanted kitties here in the US.

I think that every responsible pet owner, when they get older, has to think about when they'll reach a point where the responsible thing is to not get another pet.
I hate seeing some old person who can barely walk to the mailbox getting an active puppy. It's so unfair to the puppy.
