You’re using it wrong, you’re supposed to flip the lid over, squeeze out the air and put your nipple in and flip it back over and It will stay on and it will suck more milk out also

Make sure you flip the flange back, suction it on, and then flip the flange foreword. The suction will be much better that way! It is not meant to be used as a manual pump with a pumping action...

If the ounces are off, it might be because UK vs US ounces are slightly different.
