@@everettcarson1473 That was my point. That full season of observation means max contract if he keeps this up and I know he will do more than that. I am an Ohio State fan so I already know there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I understand the Steelers aren’t yet sure and it is a leap of faith. But that’s what they call it risk vs reward. I would love to see you lock him up now below the max so that I can watch him compete for SBs for a long time. And I am a Brown’s fan too. Never thought I would be saying those words.

I would prefer he not get a max contact so you can keep that talented roster around him. I guess we can revisit this at the end of the season and see if I was right m.

run the clock down, go home earlier with fewer risks of injury. play clock stops with a touchdown and then you need a whole ass kickoff

Why would he? They were literally up 10. Trying to punch it in for a TD at the end of the game when you're already up 2 scores is unnecessary. Not to mention the possibility that a player could get injured, it's just not worth it.
Harris missed his chance on that last TD. Last thing Tomlin wanted to do was risk injuries and give Harris a little treat. Plus it's sportsmanship.
