Nice video🎉 and trim tips Levi. Would be nice to have the same rigging trims from Keith, Jason, Fransisco, Marciello and Kai. I would guess that all of you trim a little different😊

From Levi's perspective, it's the best sail he's used.

is the colour way deep russet orange with orange logo / trim going to be available in 2025 ? Seems that at the moment it is just limited edition for team riders. The sail Levi Siver demonstrates how to rig onshore looks different from the one he is filmed sailing with.

This one is the Fushcia Banzai Surf. The one Levi is riding now is a custom Red Carbon Surf, but its is custom-made. He still rides both models.

Great video, very interesting to see how you set up the sail. The winds tend to be light at my usual spot, I also go for the upper clew eye, with a touch less downhaul - I'm small, so doing more with less sail is better for me!
I've been riding Banzai's for some years now (2020 and 2022 editions) and really like them - in particular I like how responsive and 'variable' they are, feeling alive in the hands, as opposed to 'steady' like some other sails I've tried. I'm thinking about getting some of the new Banzai, and I hear that the Banzai Surf in particular is considered to be really special by you guys - can you give any insights to the differences between Banzai and Banzai Surf? Could the Surf be a good option for me? (65kg, cross/cross-on, light wind /but also strong wind spots, ocean swell beach break wave riding)

Glad you enjoy riding the Banzai.
Both sails are fantastic. Maybe you can sample the sails from a local shop?
No matter the choice you’ll be happy.
The Surf has a soft and smooth power delivery. It is a little less direct than the Banzai 11. Banzai 11 is very responsive and direct in the boom area where the Surf has soft power delivery and the wind tends to move up the sail vertical with the lift in the head.

@@lifetimesofdedication Thanks! My local shop is going to do a demo day soon! I can't wait to try the new sails.
I realised on my session today that forcing through shorebreak, probably under powered, is a large part of the local conditions - no channels as such where I sail. Set timing aside, what you get on the way in, is what you have to get _through_ on the way out! The controllable extra power of [standard] Banzai is something I very much appreciate for that.

@@robertallison1580 Happy to hear that you can demo the sails. That will really help as you might be surprised how efficient both sails are. Its comes down to personal feeling and how you want the power and performance to deliver. The Banzai 11 is solid no question. It has proven itself in global conditions. On the other hand the Surf is turning heads and even at places like Pozo Winds in Gran Canaria it's their number one sail.

So for a 4.0...would you also rather go with a 340 mast ? And it would be interesting to know what type of mast you are using. C80 ? C100 ? (-:
