I'm going to throw the lightest canopy I can on it... it'll still be ultralight especially for indoor use and I'll run a 450mah
As always very informative and accurate. I am not sold on it. I like my quad durability to not suffer. I just can't stomach buying new boards. That is one thing I wish they would work on durability of the boards. I have replaced too many lately.
Thanks Albert for such a detailed review and breakdown of these quads. Interesting design changes for sure. I like how your mind is ways working on how you could mod the frame or component layout to improve things.

Thanks for the honest review. I like the idea of more flight time but I see things that would drive me crazy. I’m more a cruiser flier that like to try & hit gaps. My reaction time isn’t good enough to fly real fast, ends up getting me in trouble.

I see a blown mosfet next to the antenna connection on the 6! Im sure you found that by now. Whoop style frames are pointless oudoors in my opinion. Great video. Thank you Albert!!
I think that is some of the glue from the antenna that leaked over.

Getting the Moblite6 and putting the hardware into a Redshifters Zerograv frame. More protection for the electronics, probably same weight. Superior frame.

The difference in the mob6 to the mob6 lite is like 9% which don't sound like much until you think it's like adding a GoPro to a 5 inch kinda sorta kinda

I’m definitely going to experiment with cutting the battery tray and lowering the FC. I’d love to run the lipo on top to protect the FC as you suggested. I have a few other improvements I’d make as well. I’d get the new motors with the uni bell in 25000 Kv if they lake them ?
They don't make the 25000kv motor in the unibell variant. I'd get the 7 for more flight time, but the 6 if your space is small.

Hopefully the DiamondF4 fc and the 2 blade 40mm props will be available soon, they look great! Happymodel missed an opportunity to make some amazing low profile whoops by not designing new frames instead of repurposing the old frames that have been around for years. The Mobula7 v2 frame is so fragile it should never have been used and having the fc completely exposed is completely ridiculous in my opinion. The main selling point of these size whoops is their durability and crash ability, which has been sacrificed for marginal gains over a modified Mobula7 v3 frame which is basically indestructible. Has anyone ever wrapped their flight controller and attached accessories with plastic wrap? I feel like that's a dumb question but in theory it seems to be a lightweight solution for keeping water and debris from easy access to the components.

@@AlbertKimTV Oh wow! That sucks! My first Mobula 6 died after taking a 12 inch drop on a wood floor. Things like that happen sometimes with Happymodel products.
Moblighter LOL! always moving down in weight so the tech is advancing. I just flew 5 min with the cineeye on 2s 18500 lion pack. Did not expect that on a 900mah 2s These may handle 1700 size lions. Just dialed in Sain smart PetG on 3d printer for small frames.
Its funny that HappyModel used that 3D printed mount kinda wrong. Its a design from MCHeliBee and the lens ring is supposed to be installed the other way around so the main strap part provides a tiny bit more protection. It also makes the holes on the strap for the screws line up correctly if you flip around to the "correct" way. Albert, check out the MCHeliBee if you have the time, a Russian guy built it up and installed Redpine protocol....he has a full blog on it, but its in Russian.....Google translate does a fairly good job of translating it. No joke my mob6 has more then a 100 flights.. forsure.. no issues nock on wood.. guess I got lucky and I fly in acro crashing all over the place..replaced 2 frames.. BUT iv never turtled it ever

I just got the og mob6 a couple weeks ago, and have easily put 200 to 300 packs through it, not a single issue. Crashes don't even faze it, and that's with the 25k version. Hope they keep making the original.

Mounts come on the drone if you buy it.

I'm not sure, it will probably be close to the edge of burning it or wearing it out.

Can you tell us something about the Flighttimes? Mob 6 with 300mAh and Mob 7 with stock 450mAh?
Watch the full flight video for both (link in the description). Don't remember mob6 off hand... maybe 4 minutes? The mob7 flew for 5:30 at over 60% throttle most of the flight.
i do like these although they are pretty much just tooth picks with prop guards
I love my little mob 6 probably the most flown rig I have. I was excited to here that there was a new mob series coming out but now I’m on the fence about them???
Just add some foam over the AIO FC and that should protect it without adding too much weight.
My Moblite 6 came with Dshot 600 enabled???? Is that correct?
My manual says set it to Dshot 300
Dshot600 is OK because RPM filter is OFF. If you enable RPM filter, then Dshot300 is the way to go.

Hi , sorry this is really off topic but since you own bought product I thought I'd ask , are the sky04x good pair for shark byte? Can the displays display 60fps over the hdmi port or can it only display 30fps? And is there any notible latenci when using the hdmi port?
I have a 3d printer so mounting of the module doesn't really matter

The image is super bright on the sky04x over hdmi. You'll have to adjust the image brightness down a lot. I don't know about the FPS but it's smooth in the goggles. No noticeable latency AFAIK.
