You are right, no point in changing the end box, though it may be a little lighter, and looks cool. That said, I did go for the full system, and the difference is enormous, in sound, weight, power, and torque……possibly even fuel consumption!…..and it sounds like a Ducati should. I haven’t regretted it. But the cost is silly - it should be under a grand.

I saw the slip on termi can this week at my local Ducati dealership. I’ve done a little video which will be on at 4pm today. It looks good but again I noticed the baffles didn’t look like they can be removed so I’m guessing it won’t sound to different (I maybe wrong I’ve not heard it in the flesh) You’ll end up paying the full price if you want the sound of the beast. I can’t wait to have a ride on one. When do you get yours? I think so orders are over 6 months now.
Really helpful video. Thanks. Just put a deposit down on a rally as a BMW convert and was debating this very decision! Likely keep money in my pocket after this!!?????
As a 2022 MS V4S Sport owner, agree, sound is negligible. Slightly better pop & bass, but would go full if you wanted better sound, but full is much louder than stock for tourer. Biggest benefit is looks, stock can pretty generic. Hard to pay that much as accessory, in US you can get sport w/ slip-on, carbon parts , & livery paint for same $ as slip-on installed on V4S. Combined weight savings of around 5 to 8 lbs in Sport trim
