@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall Funny that you mention that. I was just billed on Thursday for a piece of terrain that is finally being sent to me because it was on backorder when I placed an order with Battlefront on August 17th of last year 😂
Great video, very informative and helpful. Is that a room in your house, or at an office? If that is a dedicated gaming room, then I am very jealous! So much space :)
I know that this video is a few years old. I was wondering if you knew if the mat you have here that you use for Flames of War, would also work for Bolt Action? A buddy and I are getting into Bolt Action but we want to eventually play Flames as well. Bolt Action is more skirmish size where Flames is more company size.
We use that same mat for 40k without issue so should be fine with Bolt Action. There is nothing to really give away scale. If you are looking at a bocage style mat I know that FLG makes 2 versions for different scales. (Or at least did)
Something you didn't cover Jon, is your trees. What brand are they and where would be the best place to purchase them? In particular the larger trees. I've bought the cheaper HO scale before and they fall to pieces and usually make a mess.
Sorry about that, the clip with the trees had some technical issues. The ones featured here are old Games Workshop trees that they replaced a long time ago. Very solid and still look good after almost 10 years. The smaller trees are Woodland Scenic, built it yourself trees.
Thanks! More 40k is coming. We filmed part 3 of our Narative campaign and it's in editing. My Ultramarines did make an appearance over on Miniwargaming most recently. I hope to get them on the table again soon.
As a new player I appreciate the video.
Great video. This channel has some of the best flames of war content.
Thanks! we enjoy a good game of Flames of War, that's for sure.
Would love to see some.more Flames of War 4E battle reports Jon.
Will do, we have are scheduled to film at least one in November and a couple in Dec.
Awesome advice. I invested in some of Battlefront’s terrain and love it.
They make great stuff, finding what you need in stock can be a challenge at times though.

Very useful video - thanks.😅😊
Eagerly awaiting another FoW v 4 batrep. I've exhausted all videos on youtube lol
Hmm, we have a big event coming up in January. maybe we can squeeze in some Market Garden practice games to film, Jon?
Yes! We need to stop getting distracted by space elves and whatnot
@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall For sure, I'm going to begin looking at my allied forces this morning. A lot to choose from for Market Garden.
Another great video!
love this build
Thank you so much for this Video, for a beginner like me its really helpful Have you got any tipps how to find a table to put the boards on?
I got mine at my local hardware store
You don’t need anything to fancy

Please do more 40k battle reports. I particularly enjoyed your ultramarines.

Ugh, no more Ultramarines! ;)
thanks
Thx
What are your thoughts on model train buildings for FoW?
Buildings themselves are usually too small or too big. I've used other terrain like animals, light poles, etc but never the buildings.
Any ideas on beating a horde of Soviets in flames of war. I have Germans mid war and they are mid war?
Depends on what kind of horde you are talking about, Tank or Infantry?
Simply not possible ;)
is that masonite on the 2x4's
I think it is, yes
baaai :D
I almost threw up from all the camera swaying and moving.... ooohhh my....
