What different you told which is not in the news or social media? You are just saying what is in the media.
If you are experienced enough, my message would be, don't give a shit about what people say. Everyone will fool you. Do what you like instead of just thinking of a job/money/job security, do something of your own. If you are an investor, this is the best time. If you want to do a startup, this is the best time. If you want to change jobs, this is the best time, you are going to get many more RSUs than kids who joined a year back.
If you are a fresher or novice, listen to Soumyajit's advice.

They don’t need job security. They are secured even before joining the job. Huge compensation of 40million $ on termination of job before tenure, enough to move back to India and spend the rest of the life relaxing and chilling
But they have huge money after layoff

I have one question, I wanted to switch into data domain currently (data analyst or engineer) but by analyzing current situation I should definitely wait till next year Q2.
I have 3 years of non Data domain experience right now, how should I approach in switching my domain and how should I try to showcase that I am a good fit for the role. Should I show my personal projects in resume? Bcoz my professional experience might not be exactly relevant to Data domain.

You can 1. initiate Proof of concepts or productivity improvement ideas using AI Ml in your current project. 2. Write blogs on medium and linkedin to get more recuiters views on your linkedin, it can also act as your portfolio. 3. Do couple of personal projects that you can discuss in interview. 4. Try switiching role within company to data analyst.

Well, i don't think there's any recession in indian market. Infact, india is providing more hikes this time than any other country. So for exp people they can get multiple offers but for freshers its somewat difficult to get.

Yes. But you are the owner of your career here, so you would have to find those opportunities where you will be able to perform the roles of an applied scientist being an SDE. Identify those teams, and switch to them and then take it gradually
