Both very nice. I prefer the Guild since there aren't enough vitage Guilds left in this world, but the '80 isn't bad for a latter day Gibby.

Nice comparison. The x50 has a slightly more acoustic sound . Both nice. Is the Guild less deep than the Gibson? Thanks

Yes it is 2 7/8 deep and the Gibson is around 3 1/4
