Who else agrees that fall makeup in general needs a giant refresh?! I'm not into all of the muted colors and 50 shades of grey. Even when the weather cools down and I want to wear my fall outfits, I still want my makeup to look fresh-faced and vibrant! Don't feel like you have to change your makeup routine to fit the seasons. Wear whatever tones make you feel the most confident that really flatter your skin tone. If you're not feeling the fall collections this year, hold off for something special that really moves you! xx
I am 65 and must be alive to long because this fall season of luxury makeup is just boring. 😂. I haven’t bought anything which is so rare. I agree with your review.
This is why you are the best at what you do. Honesty is what makes you different from others. I love and buy luxury brands but lately they have come out with products that don't justify the ridiculous prices. I have also been more selective with my choices. Thank you for breaking the spell that most of the influencers are under. Loving a brand doesn't make them the exception anymore. They have to deliver. So thank you Erin. You are amazing. Love you!😊
Thanks for being THE ONLY honest review I have personally seen this far on these loose eyeshadows. They are dusty a f and the component is the same exact as Shein offers. You will never get all the pigment out the way these are designed. These are nothing new. It’s not practical, even with it being Chanel in mind and I love Chanel. You don’t need these, and I appreciate you echoing that. ❤❤❤
I really wish they did a loose pigment instead! That could have been amazing. For the price, you might as well buy a quad for $65 and get 4 shades versus $40 for the dust lol xx
Please watch Cheri Voyage’s review on UA-cam. She is a MUA and shows a practical & beautiful way of application for the loose pigments. Thanks to all the poor reviews this product isn’t selling out and I’ve had plenty of opportunity to purchase.
Finally!!! 🙌🙌 An influencer who tells the honest truth. I’m so impressed with your honesty. I have the loose eyeshadow in 406. The mess omg. Talk about fall out , & no pay off. I returning mine. I was going to keep it as it is Chanel & I’m a collector. But; you set me straight; you said it best. Do we make acception because it’s our favorite brand. You are spot on ; this collection lacks luster & intensity. Mind you I got swooped in and got the eau de fraisch parfum too. Full size. My s/a was you gottttttttttttt to buy this is lovely. Ofcourse I got it knowing full well I’m a no5 girl. I love all the flankers but bought de fraisch. Thanks for your sensibility. I’m returning them both.
The Eau Fraiche is the best recent new launch! So pretty! I'm sorry you had fall out too, sadly the shadows are just not amazing. $40 for one eyeshadow, it needs to be incredible! xx
Absolutely. I really don’t mind paying the money , for something I love. But this isn’t a “ reach for me product. I found it incredibly messy & a fuss . The parfum is fresh , nicest of other chance flankers. But it is extremely heady! I’m going to swap it for another no5 instead. Thanks again for your refreshing & eloquent review
Ohmygosh Your Review on The Loose Eye Shadow Are THE BEST‼️‼️‼️😁 Absolutely LOVE Your Description & Comments. Thank YOU Erin For Saving Us All from THE PAIN ‼️‼️‼️☺️💖💞
I appreciate your honesty and integrity 🙌🏼Your moral fortitude has earned you the respect and admiration of many. Thank you for being such a trustworthy and dependable person 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤
I've watched a few other reviews (watch Hey It's Jacqueline) and they are tapping product out onto a pan/plate OR dabbing their brush against the doe-foot applicator to grab product and then placing it onto their eyelid. And it seems to blend beautifully and the colors look GORGEOUS on the eyelids. I am actually really excited to try these (402, 404, 406 and 408)...... I think they look gorgeous blended out as one and done. Sophia used the shimmer shade from the "warm" les beige palette to bring a bit more life to the 408. It looked STUNNING!!! Anyway, I think it's just a learning curve with this new loose shadow but once we get the hang of it, the sky is the limit with it. Gorgeous finish with them.
Absolutely agree that there is a learning curve and once you have the application down, then the shades are stunning. I bought 4 of the 6. Tapping them onto a mixing plate like Jackeline did and also applying as blush as she did in her video. Beautiful.
Just been playing with these and it’s a learning curve but a pretty quick one. I had a long day yesterday and as someone who has trouble with longevity I was amazed at how good it looked after 14 hours. I bought 402 and 404 but may go back for more!
I adore muted autumn tones more than anything. These blushes are the only Chanel I’ve purchased in a very long time. I find them stunning! But I always appreciate your POV and honesty! The pigments look horrible.
See that makes perfect sense, if these are your tones then the collection is a no brainer! We all have our different shade preferences and skin tones etc. I’m sure it will be gorgeous on you!
I haven't seen them on deeper skin yet, you will have to let us know what you think! Purple blush on deep skin can look incredible, I hope this has that kind of tone! xx
Erin, I'm passing on the eyeshadow palettes. I have purchased one of the new reformulations from Cle de Peau. Lovely formulation with the "base" color that's actually a gorgeous shimmer that gives a subtle glow.
Erin I couldn’t agree with you more! I searched the new fall blushes, lip colors and lose eyeshadow and they were very disappointing. I did purchase a few of the quads however! They swatched 7:29 beautifully and the colors were very pretty! Xoxo 😘
Nice! I'm hearing mixed reviews so far on the eyeshadow palettes but some people really love them! I'm sure you enjoy creating looks. I think I just need a breather from buying quads at the moment so I can use what I already have! xx
If they gave me a beautiful royal purple or emerald green shadow I’d gladly give Chanel my money. Their new collections aren’t leaving me feeling inspired.
Erin I really really love watching your videos so so so much and I was eagerly waiting for this video you are my inspiration and I wish you have a best week ahead🤗💫💖
Thank you!! Finally someone I agree with on this collection. Loose eye pigments are the opposite of easy and for all the work they look dusty in the eye. I’m only interested in that red brown nail polish in the collection
Thank you so much for posting this today and for being the voice of reason for me. I was itching to buy two loose powders last night but stopped myself. I added them to cart but said let me a wait until I see a few more reviews. I’m already a messy make-up applicator and tried to convince myself that I could make myself make these work. Who am I kidding? These would be a disaster.
Definitely don’t waste $80! You probably have shadows already that will give you the same look. It’s one of those products that is new so people are excited but the novelty will wear off and my guess is no one will be using them in a month xx
Thank you again Erin for your elaborate video! Funny to see though: for me the Hydra Beauty lip balm was a disaster, but the fall blush seems like a dream to me on my skin tone 😀 I hope to be able to pick one up next week 😀 You look gorgeous like always!
Oh and I forgot to mention: definitely agree with the overall spirit in these reactions: you are the absolute beauty guru - thanks to your honest reviews I always know what to stay away from, or what is to be expected. Absolutely amazing, thank you again
Thanks dear Erin, love a good salty video!!!👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩 These loose shadows, i don't think so. But the quads are beautiful! Tried the one with the emerald, gorgeous!!! Wishing you a wonderful day and thanks for this very good video!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
@@ErinNicoleTV yes, very true Erin! No more PMG/ND/SG, sensitive eyes here the last 2 years, being 53 now. First skincare! Makeup: Japanese brands, or Chantecaille i love the most. Sometimes other brands, but Chanel, Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury can also make a mess of their shadows in my humble opinion. But these quads are good from Chanel, smooth quality, much better than their tweed quads! Enjoy your day!❤
Agreed! ❤ The one product mentioned in this video that I actually DO want to purchase is the classic. 😅 The Chanel Coco Rouge in 434 Mademoiselle is on my "to buy" list. I actually do like the new quad gold foil interior, however, not impressed with the shades. The 2 with pink do look repetitive and the 2 more "jeweled" tones I can't imagine wearing. Thank you for solidifying my thoughts!
I enjoyed your discussion and respect where you are at. Beautiful eyes and lids! Do you know if this collection was done by their new makeup team? I’m excited for the loose pigments myself. I like Chanel’s gimmicky weird stuff. They put them out with no explanation, they don’t box you in with a single look, it is up to me to experiment and make it my own. The last really good one was the eye gloss compact, loved it. I got the two darkest shades in the pigment, the mauve blush and the purple Bloom. So I’m all set for a vampire look, it’s awesome 😂😊
Hey Erin, how would you compare these new loose powder eyeshadows with the cream eyeshadows that they came out with? Just curious. I am so glad I watch reviews on the loose powder shadows as I won't be purchasing them.
The creams are way better! Much easier to apply in my opinion. The only thing I really like about the loose powders is how easy they are the blend, but the juice isn’t worth the squeeze :/
I applaud you for being honest! You don't need to wear any makeup, you are naturally beautiful. I find Chanel packaging beautiful, but their powder blushes and eyeshadows are quite average.
I agree with you that loose eyeshadows are messy and sheer. But the blushes are beautiful and very pigmented. I saw a few reviews on youtube and when people compared them with other blushes they couldn’t find something similar (especially the mauve one). Sofia Sees Beauty has fair skin tone and both blushes look stunning on her skin. The quads are not as bad. The one with red and the one with green are not for everybody but the other 2 are very beautiful and easy to wear. I have Parure Cristal and is stunning (the topper shade is unique and change entire look). I think the mortgage makes you very picky, maybe to picky. :))) In the past (last year) you bought a Chanel quad that looked like a bright pumpkin and you like it and now you think this ones are bad.:)))
Haha could be the mortgage, the move and having to pack everything but also just age and wisdom. I don’t really feel inspired to shop, shop, shop for makeup that I’ll never use again. My collection is wayyyy too big and I’m not really using that much eyeshadow at the moment. Just because something is pretty, isn’t a good reason to buy it. There will always be something new and shiny to buy. I’d rather wait for pieces that really excite me. Also, I’ve been reviewing every CHANEL collection for the past 7 years or so… I know when I see the Byzance quads that I just wouldn’t reach for them just like I don’t really reach for my tweed quads, to your point! Picky is a GOOD thing!
For sure to be picky is a good thing! :) I skipped many new releases (limited edition or new products) from the brands I like because I wasn’t impressed with what they offered. I just have one foundation, 2 concealers, 2 mascaras, one loose powder, one pressed powder, one eye primer, one face primer, 3 blushes, 2 eyeliner pencils, 2 brow pencils, one lipstick, 7 mini eyeshadow palettes (4 or 5 colours each) and one midi palette. In my opinion for an ordinary people is more then enough. I just have one face and a huge mortgage too. :)) I understand that a beauty youtuber must have a bigger makeup collection for review purpose but I was mesmerised when I watched a few videos with makeup declutter. I don’t think one people even youtuber needs over one hundred (some of them few hundreds) of makeup products from almost each category for review purpose. Plus tones of makeup brushes. For example Michele Wang said she has over 1000 makeup brushes.:))) They must live in a castle.I live in a two storey house with 4 bedrooms, one study room, a rumpus plus open space downstairs and I don’t think I’ll find space if I decide to become a makeup hoarder.:)) Anyways II’m sure you’ve changed your priorities after you bought the house and that you are more responsible due to higher living expenses. I have no doubt that you will receive free products for promote/review purpose and like you said you will buy only something with wow factor (at least for a while). XOXO
I am in Australia and the les Symboles de Chanel are already available here (AUD149). I got the precious coral in the camellia embossing. It’s GORGEOUS and worth the splurge, the only other Chanel highlighter I have is Reve de Camellia. I’m passing on the Byzance quads (available here) and the fall collection (not here yet). I’m really only looking to add new items that “wow” me and are different to what I already have in my collection. Those loose eyeshadows from Chanel - JUST A HARD NO 😂 what were they thinking…..
@@ErinNicoleTV yes the prices for luxury beauty in Aus are astronomical - Chanel quads are AUD120, blush 80, lippies 66. Tom Ford quads are now AUD156!!! So, I do think really hard about whether I need the new releases when I have a very decent collection of luxury makeup already (I’m 49). I am also not a fan at all of warm colours, yet we see so much warm makeup being released these days. At least it makes it easier to stick to my low buy plan!!
Thank goodness I was starting to think they might discontinue it as they now have a factor 50 sunscreen, I really hope it’s the same, I hate it when they re formulate and it’s not as good as the original. If it’s not broke don’t fix it 🤷♀️ thanks for the reply 😊 xx
Ok so I jus watched the end of the video & u said u picked up both the blushes I think they're going 2 look really pretty on u & they r pretty fall colors,I ordered both of them yesterday even tho I wear a B30 in Chanel foundation so that gives an idea of if these blushes r gonna b good 4 my skin tone,I usually like blushes in the light 2 medium pink,my favorite color of blush is Chanel's spring 2023 release with the cc logo on it, the 1 that's sold out,I hope they bring that 1 back that was such a beautiful color of pink,so these fall colors r not my favorite,I kno it's fall but that doesn't mean we want actual Halloween color 4 blush, but I gave in & ordered them anyways hoping they look good on my skin, the mauve looks pretty, but the other 1 actually looks the color of a pumpkin,so I'm scared2 get my order,i think im getting it 2moro,so fingers crossed..the reason I ordered them even tho I'm not sore about the colors is bc i watched another reviewer who got them early on some website called Selfridges,4 some reason they had them b4 Chanel, but mustv been a mistake bc she said right after she placed her order the website quickly took them down, but she got them early,so the reason i gave in & ordered colors i wouldn't usually order is bc the reviewer had a similar skin tone as mine & the way the blushes translated2 her skin looked really pretty, even the coral 1, they didn't look as harsh mauve or as harsh coral as they do in the pan, bc its Chanel they were able2 take 2 shades that look unwearable in the pan & stil make them not only wearable on the cheeks but even look pretty on the cheeks,so i am excited 2 c if they look as good on my skin & they do on hers..any other brand with these shades woud not have been able 2 pull this off I dnt think, i really do think they look alot better on the cheeks than they do on the pan, i cant wait2 c ur review on the blushes
Thank you Erin, for being so real😂❤ didn’t purchase any of the products from this collection and I’m glad I didn’t. I love the Hydra beauty lip care, definitely one of my favorite Chanel products!
I have been watching photos and reviews of the Byzance and Equinox collections and I have been outright disappointed at what I am seeing with my own eyes, even if the reviewers seems to appreciate these products. For me, "doing something different" isn't just about releasing the same old, same old, but this time with a gold component in the package or in a glass bottle. Thank you so much for keeping things real. P.S. This old Chanel lover is still intrigued by the darker nail polish shade of Equinox collection. I will check it out when the collection hits counters in my country. For me, the re-formulated nailpolishes have been the best thing they've brought out this whole year, although the price point is steep.
@@ErinNicoleTV very true. Hardly a day goes by that I don't put at least one Chanel product on my face, so I have by no means written the whole brand off even if some launches are easy to skip.
Thanks for saving me money. The only thing I was interested in was the lipstick- Wild. But it’s not long lasting and darker shades don’t wear off as well.
It’s not just the fall out, I just don’t care for the finish, it’s not special enough in my opinion. I have better eyeshadows in my collection already.
I agree with u not 2 buy something just bc it's a new collection,we need things were going 2 b excited about & want2 use a lot,I had definitely already decided I had no interest in that eyeshadow with the weird applicater,I didn't think I would like it & after watching this video it's confirmed,I think they are coming out with some new eyeshadow quads next month & they look much more promising, also the blushe colors look better on than they look in the pan,so since u have a channel & people have so much interest in the blushes maybe u can jus get 1 of the colors 2 review, also the blushes r 9 grams of product so at least u get a lot 4 ur money, I would jus try 1 of them & I think the fall byzance do look pretty.
I have been racking my brain to remember, I'm almost sure it was the Makeup by Mario Master Mattes palette and a highlighter on the eyelid. That has been my go-to palette lately! xx
I have a true medium skin tone (no tan). I went to the Chanel boutique and swatched the loose pigments and the new blushes and the coral shade literally disappeared on my skin. I used a brush and tried it but still the same.
The applicator is bad but even the shadow itself is really underwhelming. It goes on sheer plus it's messy. Who has that kind of time to be messing around with loose powder that can stain and all all over the face. Easily the worst product is recent times! xx
Erin thank you for being candid. Im so over these quick shove it out the door poorly done products. Im spending on skincare and really am watching more skincare content and its paying off , and mostly indie small brands and k beauty
I've been buying Chanel makeup for years and years but I have to say I am a little disappointed lately. I am more picky since there are so many good luxury brands out there but to be honest I don't buy that much makeup as I used to because nothing excites me enough to justify the price. Especially this loose powder eye shadow, it would be a complete mess for me. We need makeup that does not need a lot of time to put on or blend and not have to clean all the fallout. I had the same thought, maybe they smashed old eye shadows and created this disappointing product haha. I do agree with you on fall makeup and as for me I always chose my colors according to the way I feel on the day I use them not on the season. I make any combinations of colors I like, there is no seasonal makeup for me.
Excellent critique and it's right to tell it how it is. Also fully agree that make up should bring that little kick of joy every time you apply and it should enhance not just be the trend. More so now it does feel that good skincare is as important if not more so, and true to form the skin care was what you were most excited about. Says so much. Chanel do skin care well 🩷
Mauve blush is very pretty on my skin, light loose shadow was 402. It is not bad, I am probably keeping it. The rest are ugly. As for Byzance eye shadows, they are gone from Chanel website, which is sad. I am hoping they will come back.
I used to wear Mademoiselle 5 or 6 years ago, but when I bought it recently it seems like the shade has changed...darker and more dusky mauve. I don't really like it anymore. 😢
I was contemplating the purchase, love the formula, but was hesitant about the mauve grey-ish tone? They say it’s a best seller, this shade, but it just seems a bit too deep and gloomy to me?.. thank you for your comment. 🌸I don’t think this one is a go right now….
@@victoriamyst4742I bought it recently. I think it looks different in the bullet bs on the lips. It became my favourite right away. Gorgeous colour - I can understand why it is a bestseller
I was looking forward the BYZANCE pallets?? But in the meantime, I did pick up while overseas the new YSL pallets. And let's just say I am obsessed with those. I am not so sure an opinion on the "lightest" shade of the loose eyeshadow powder is really meaningful? No depth, definition, color etc etc etc? While the product never peaked my curiosity or desire? "Not Fit For Print Beauty" did a lovely eye look with 2 of the loose eyeshadow powders. Will she be using them in everyday life? Not so sure? But it was a lovely look!!
I'm so glad you love the YSL palettes! Here's some food for thought because you bring up a great point. Creators, myself included, take hours to film one makeup look and then we edit the video to make it look as great as it possibly can. I'm sure I could come up with beautiful makeup looks using all 6 of the loose eyeshadows but it wouldn't reflect reality. Not Fit For Print Beauty and other talented makeup artists on youtube will be able to sit down and create a gorgeous, meticulously crafted and edited eye look, but it really shouldn't influence your decision to purchase unless you plan on spending the same amount of time on your makeup.
@@ErinNicoleTV I tried one of the loose es so far. Pulled the “applicator” straight up so as not to mess up the outside of the vial, gently touched the applicator with my finger to pick up a tiny amount of product, applied to each eye and blended out from there. Easy peasy. There are quite a few videos that show real world problems with easy solutions for non-MUAs. Agree we don’t have to like everything but if someone likes these colors and finish (I do) they are not that hard or time consuming to use at all. I think if you see Byzance 328 in person you may feel differently about it as well. JMO
Nothing looks appealing to me personally. The quads design is gorgeous but that’s it. Wow, never thought I’d say this. Every piece Luccia had created I wanted to have. Well the good thing is that I really don’t need any more makeup in the longest run at this point:))
Definitely on the same page with you. Blushes are absolutely boring. The only eyeshadow shade I potentially would like is brown, but with the fallout and intensity - not worth it. You look amazing, your hair is so glamorous 😍
I TOTALLY passed on the loose pigments; why would I pay for a mess? I can make one all on my own! I got the blushes, a couple Rouge Coco Bloom colors and two of the Byzance quads (which I really love as well). I keep waiting for the others to come into stock in the US.
For the past couple of years I've felt like Chanel's cosmetics are going down hill. In a way, Chanel feels like they don't respect us at all. They think they can put anything in a Chanel package and we'll buy it. But its 2023 and this doesn't wash anymore. There is just so many brands out there that are prestigious, luxury and fine quality. Chanel, its only perfumes from here on in for me.
The blushes are way too pigmented for me. Whereas the oversized quad that could be used for eyes and face has been really hard to get any payoff from. I wish they’d release nice, buildable formulas that work for a broader range of people.
you looked good, the eye makeup worked once you got the mascara, eyeliner on. Does look like a pain to apply. Only thing I was disappointed in was the dual lipstick. It looked really orangy once on, and I was interested in that color, but as a soft rose, not bright orange. Another pass for me, oh well, too expensive anyway
The lip liner definitely changed the color a bit! The eyeshadows will look fine once applied but I have too many shadows that do the exact same thing for less work :/ xx
Agreed! I use a copper loose pigment from Give Beauty almost everyday on my lids but it's in a little pot so it's easy to pick it up with fingers. That would have been better! xx
Unfortunately the eyeshadow palettes with jewels shades are very subtle. I have tried some of them and they’re not pigmented enough. That green is not bold enough. Such a shame…this doesn’t fell well thought of.
Hi Erin, I'm disappointed in your discussion about these launches. I feel your mind was made up without giving the products a try. Criticizing the Sycamore shade because the outside bottle is lighter than the pigment, which itself is quite light, seemed, well, quite minor. Yes, the applicator is underdesigned and yes, if you apply it straight from the applicator you will have guaranteed fallout. Others changed to a different method as they learned to apply pigments and the results were elegant, and, in some cases, stunning. Many were a quick one and done. As a long-time Chanel customer, I applaud Chanel for bringing something different to the market. I understand that these shadows are long lasting, which will be a relief to my oily and hooded eyelids. The blush and Coco Bloom lipsticks are beautiful. While I didn't buy from the Byzance collection, I can see the appeal and uniqueness based on the jewels of the same name. I feel the quads were dismissed without any discussion about the design of the collection. Looking to the holiday collection, the XL highlighters do not appeal to me but I have learned that different shades have different formulas. Interesting. Anyway, I feel you have given more in-depth and insightful discussion, even when you haven't liked the products, and I wished there was more of that in this video.
For context, I’ve been purchasing every CHANEL collection for probably 7 years. I know when I see a new launch if it’s something I will never use again. The truth is I don’t like the eyeshadows at all and it’s ok if I have a different opinion on eyeshadow than you. I don’t like the gold textured plate on the Byzance collection and I wouldn’t wear those colors. Way too often, we buy and reviews expensive limited edition makeup and never talk about it ever again. There’s nothing wrong with being a mindful shopper and only purchasing items you think you will love. Being on UA-cam for a few years now, something I’ve learned is that your audience will often demand honesty from you but when you share an opinion they don’t agree with they find it unacceptable. Some people just want their own opinions parroted back to them. Ultimately, it’s just makeup and these are my personal thoughts. My preference is to wear pink, cream blushes and easy eyeshadows so these collections were never going to be up my alley. That doesn’t mean someone else with different preferences can’t enjoy them!
@@ErinNicoleTV Hi Erin, I have no qualms at all with people having different opinions on the products, I just felt this video was was not as informative about the launches or the products compared to your previous ones. I have seen many, many of your Chanel reviews over those 7 years and this is the first time that I felt it was less than your standard. I am a mindful shopper and am making only targeted investments. I am looking for presentations that give me good information for consideration. I look to you as a Chanel guru but perhaps your focus is changing. For context, I am equally selective of where I get information on YT and do not follow "influencers" or look for parroting opinions. Part of an honest discussion is receiving honest feedback. And I agree, it's just makeup.

They certainly blend easily! Try them out and see what you think! xx

YES I'm excited to try mixing and using as a blush as well. @@traceyevansbuhr
Just been playing with these and it’s a learning curve but a pretty quick one. I had a long day yesterday and as someone who has trouble with longevity I was amazed at how good it looked after 14 hours. I bought 402 and 404 but may go back for more!
The palette with the bright white is actually insanely stunning and makes that quad so unique! I grabbed the mauve blush too and it’s STUNNING
I'm so glad you love them, enjoy! I'm sure you'll create beautiful looks with them xx
I bought the mauve blush. It is amazing!
What an honest and appreciated review.
I really appreciate your honesty! So many UA-camrs seem like they are afraid to say something negative about products.
This brondie hair is soooo cute on you! that orange Chanel blush is the onlyyy thing from the collection that has caught my eye!
I purchased it and I love the eyeshadows. I always pick up some pigments with a brush and then it works fantastically.
As someone who has a deeper skin tone I’m super excited for these blush shades. I ordered both!
They look gorgeous.
I haven't seen them on deeper skin yet, you will have to let us know what you think! Purple blush on deep skin can look incredible, I hope this has that kind of tone! xx
Heyyy lol! Came here to find out about the blushes myself! Very interested in the plum shade! Can't Wait to see them on you!
Erin, totally agree with you. Thank you for your honest review! 😊❤️
Erin, I'm passing on the eyeshadow palettes. I have purchased one of the new reformulations from Cle de Peau. Lovely formulation with the "base" color that's actually a gorgeous shimmer that gives a subtle glow.
Ooh I haven't seen the new Cle de Peau yet, I will check it out! xx
@@ErinNicoleTVThey are to die for ❤
Those Cle de Paeu are exquisite ❤❤ devine
Erin I couldn’t agree with you more! I searched the new fall blushes, lip colors and lose eyeshadow and they were very disappointing. I did purchase a few of the quads however! They swatched 7:29 beautifully and the colors were very pretty! Xoxo 😘
Nice! I'm hearing mixed reviews so far on the eyeshadow palettes but some people really love them! I'm sure you enjoy creating looks. I think I just need a breather from buying quads at the moment so I can use what I already have! xx
I was looking forward to this review! Thank you!
You know I thought the same about the new quads but once i swatched them there’s 2 that I fell in love with.
Nice! Enjoy them! As long as it’s love, that’s all that matters xx
your timing is amazing, I was just browsing this collection
If they gave me a beautiful royal purple or emerald green shadow I’d gladly give Chanel my money. Their new collections aren’t leaving me feeling inspired.
This hair color suits you so well 😍
I'm excited for the Christmas quad.
Erin I really really love watching your videos so so so much and I was eagerly waiting for this video you are my inspiration and I wish you have a best week ahead🤗💫💖
I love your hair like this! 😍😍
Thank you so much! xx
Thank you!! Finally someone I agree with on this collection. Loose eye pigments are the opposite of easy and for all the work they look dusty in the eye. I’m only interested in that red brown nail polish in the collection
Yes, very dusty and crusty! lol I completely forgot about the polishes but Chanel always has a great shade range :) xx
@@ErinNicoleTV lol apt description indeed!!
amen sister. Your hair color looks amazing-very natural.
Thank you Erin !
Hahaha it had to be said! I can’t keep buying makeup that I don’t use and you shouldn’t either. Better to wait for the special pieces! Xx
Enjoy your day!❤
Thank you Erin Nicole TV.
Thank you for this review your honesty is appreciated but I do agree nothing wow. I need a wow and the excitement to purchase too. 😊
Can't wait to see the fall blushes, I'll wait for the review to see if I want to order
They should be arriving soon! I'm curious to see what they look like! xx
@@ErinNicoleTV o
Chanel got 0 of my money this year. I'm happy about it!
I applaud you for being honest! You don't need to wear any makeup, you are naturally beautiful.
I find Chanel packaging beautiful, but their powder blushes and eyeshadows are quite average.
Thank you! I've been on a pink cream blush stint lately too but I did get sucked in with the CC's. xx
I understand that a beauty youtuber must have a bigger makeup collection for review purpose but I was mesmerised when I watched a few videos with makeup declutter. I don’t think one people even youtuber needs over one hundred (some of them few hundreds) of makeup products from almost each category for review purpose. Plus tones of makeup brushes. For example Michele Wang said she has over 1000 makeup brushes.:))) They must live in a castle.I live in a two storey house with 4 bedrooms, one study room, a rumpus plus open space downstairs and I don’t think I’ll find space if I decide to become a makeup hoarder.:))
Anyways II’m sure you’ve changed your priorities after you bought the house and that you are more responsible due to higher living expenses. I have no doubt that you will receive free products for promote/review purpose and like you said you will buy only something with wow factor (at least for a while). XOXO
Thank you for your reviews ❤❤❤
I love the fall winter stuff, not the Byzance. Btw your hair looks beautiful, the colour suits you very well.
I am waiting for Les Symboles De Chanel Oversized Illuminators in the peach shade instead of these.
Whoaaaa at the price! Yikes! Thanks for sharing! xx
I prefer Dior pallets. The colours are fantastic and the quality is perfect
I love the blushes 😍
Is the cc cream being discontinued? I’ve been trying to replace my one for weeks and it’s keeps saying out of stock?? 😱 xx
I was told it's not going anywhere but it's been out of stock for a while now. I'm thinking they might reformulate and bring it back xx
I love that lip balm, such a treat! 💗
Erin you got me into luxury beauty this year I never knew you were from the brickell area!! Would you ever do a fan meeting ?
I do really like the nail polishes! I still love Chanel, the seasonal launches can be hot or miss but they have so many great staples! xx
@@ErinNicoleTV very true. Hardly a day goes by that I don't put at least one Chanel product on my face, so I have by no means written the whole brand off even if some launches are easy to skip.
Hi Erin may I please have your opinion on the Chanel body milk. Essence I think. It’s always sold out. Have you tried it?
Ooooh I haven't tried that yet but now I'm curious!
People seem to love it.
Thanks for saving me money. The only thing I was interested in was the lipstick- Wild. But it’s not long lasting and darker shades don’t wear off as well.
Try to pick up some of the eyeshadowpowder with a brush and blend it on the lid, almost no fall out...
It’s not just the fall out, I just don’t care for the finish, it’s not special enough in my opinion. I have better eyeshadows in my collection already.
What a weird applicator on the loose eye shadow, this is my worst nightmare...fall out everywhere haha ..thanks for sharing!
It was definitely a strange choice lol it's not really functional :/ xx
You are so awesome and beautiful
Love to watch your videos of Chanel; thank you for all the tips and info
JC :)
I have the Venitienne and it's really stunning. 🇳🇱🌷
What eyeshadow did you have on in the patrick ta blush short?😍
I have been racking my brain to remember, I'm almost sure it was the Makeup by Mario Master Mattes palette and a highlighter on the eyelid. That has been my go-to palette lately! xx
Agreed. I think the loose powder shadows are too messy and difficult to use. Skipping those and the blush.
I have a true medium skin tone (no tan). I went to the Chanel boutique and swatched the loose pigments and the new blushes and the coral shade literally disappeared on my skin. I used a brush and tried it but still the same.
Oh dang, did you try the berry blush? I'm wondering if that shade would have worked better? xx
@@ErinNicoleTV it did. I ended up buying it but to be honest just look like a bronzer type of shade on me.
What is your current go-to daily foundation?
I’ve been using the Tom Ford stick foundation recently xx
I’ve never been a fan of Chanel eyeshadow the foundations however are spectacular
LOT of people agree, the loose shadows are not worth $40.
Why did they make that applicator like that? Just why? ☹️
They already have the byzance eyeshadows at neiman 🎉
Nice! Thank you for sharing. I'm going to skip the collection and pray that holiday is really special this year :) xx
That's so interesting that you say that because it's been so long since I've worn it and it does look a bit darker in the tube... sad! xx
Yeah, I’m sure you have plenty of brown eyeshadows that would give you the same exact look too. Thank you so much about the hair :) xx
What in the eyeshadow?! Agree, it’s a no for me. Thank you for your honest review 🥰
I TOTALLY passed on the loose pigments; why would I pay for a mess? I can make one all on my own! I got the blushes, a couple Rouge Coco Bloom colors and two of the Byzance quads (which I really love as well). I keep waiting for the others to come into stock in the US.
Nice! Sounds like a great haul! I love the rouge coco bloom formula, I'm glad they came out with more options! xx
Thank you once again for a great review! I was curious about the new shadow, and I am going to pass.......
And I SOOOO miss the CC cream😢
I totally agree. The colors of the blushes are really strange and i didn't like too. The eyeshadows are the worst for sure 😩
The mauve blush looks like a bruse
Thank you for being so honest! I love Chanel but I will pass on this collection.
The fall makeup 💄 is nice
Not brilliant
I will be buying them 💋
“Kris Kringle” 😆👌💯
haha it just screams Christmas tree to me! Not exactly wearable colors xx
I see more brands using that hideous eyeshadows applicators 🥴 I guess it’s just a trend so let’s hope for it to end soon!!
Misleading thumbnail... I really thought you're about to do swatches of the Les 4 Ombre Byzance eyeshadows.
I don’t mind loose powder but why this container, would’ve been better if it was made in a little jar with lid instead.
I’ve seen mixed reviews so far which tells me it’s probably the best decision for me to skip it. Holding out for holiday! Xx
Hmmm still 50/50 on this , you hair looks great darker by the way!! idk if you are doing something different.
If Erin says no it’s a no for me gonna pass n wait for them to bring something better
There is always something new coming around the corner :) xx
Why shall We have dull dark shakes to fall and winter. Its then We need COLOR!!!!!
👍🏻👍🏻
Cc cream won’t be back til 2024 😢 they are reformulating
Hi Erin, I totally agree with you. This collection is underwhelming and honestly, I’m disappointed.
I totally agree, this Chanel fall collection is not interesting at all ! Very disappointing 😕
Sadly I have to agree… nothing outstanding!! Lucia Pica is sadly missed!!!🤢
Last year was better 👁️👄👁️ the tweed
I am very underwhelmed by this whole collection.
