    We havent had such a historic moment/ level of optimism in the world since this moment in 1989. The end of the Cold War, the end of communist oppression, the wonderful 80s that made us and led to technology and pop culture at its best, the great Reagan years that help us transition into the booming 90s. The world needs something like this again, no more terrorist attacks, no more wars, no more political divisions, no more recessions, just feel good economy booming/ people loving optimism like in 1989.

      Actually what happened was, an Austrian fan knocked in hid door in LA and asked for an autograph. She told him one of his songs was number one in Austria.
      Hasselhoff called his agent and asked him to book a tour. While staying in Berlin organizers asked him to perform in his hotel. He agreed, but asked to perform at the wall. Theu set it up. If you listen, thousands are singing along. This performance made him a beloved cultural icon in Germany and Austria. Right place, right time.

    Life's nothing without freedom. In this days, I heard a lot of people praising CCP, and saying " stability is more important". They are wrong! Without freedom stability is just a golden cage. The inmate thinks ,he is safe and cozy, but when the cell's door closes, there's no way to scape.

    While my fellow Romanians where burying their loved ones after they had to fight for their freedom, Hasselhoff was signing dressed as a Christmas tree in country where everyone was cheerful. The lucky ones sign their freedom act with champagne while others with blood.

    • @TheAndersDanilet
      @TheAndersDanilet 6 років тому

      INFOPRO1 Romanule, esti sigur ca everyone was cheerful in a divided Germany? At least some change happened after the Berlin Wall came down. In Romania the same people who got rid of Ceausescu ruined the country with their greed and corruption. It got to the point where my grandparents generation said “Ceausescu era rau, da’ macar lumea avea de lucru”
