The only one not reasonable and not interested in this mix of players are Hamas, who say they aren’t responsible for civilians of Gaza nor take care of their needs for food, shelter, medical assistance which belongs to UN- though Hamas is stealing the trucks of aid and responsible for their suffering by not allowing the trucks to reach the UN facilities, which lay bare so the poor must go to market unable to pay for the aid sold in the markets at unaffordable prices. They are keeping the Israeli hostages as human shields to keep as pawns in exchange to release the Hamas prisoners of war by the thousands which Israel will not do. Hamas didn’t complete the November ceasefire agreement and released gunfire and launched missiles rather than the remaining hostages. That is why IDF’s only resolute response is to fight back and do all they can to retrieve more hostages- thus far 2 alive and 7/8 not. Thank G-d Abigail is back. Her great-aunt seems to forget that many terrorists were released in return for the hostage deal in November. Sinwar was released in the Shalit deal in 2011. Meaning Abigails' parents were murdered and she is now an orphan indirectly because of the Shalit deal. The current talks failed because Hamas refused to disclose which hostages they would be releasing and if even they would be releasing live hostages. Enough of blaming Israel. We are the only country in the world that gives humanitarian aid to our enemies, people who are sworn to our destruction. Had there not been humanitarian aid, the fighting would have ended a long time ago and the hostages could have been home.
