You have to try “Khao Soi” which is Northern Thai egg noodles with coconut and curry soup. Another one is “Sai Aua” which is Thai northern sausage and also “Moo Ping” which is Thai-style grilled pork too.☺️☺️☺️
Ooooh thank you!!! I’ve done a video where I tried 3 different Khao Soi’s for the first time check that one out if you want! But I haven’t had the Sai Aua before or Moo Ping! I’ll have to find and try both of them! Thank you! 😁🤍💛
These are AMAZING suggestions!! Haha half of them are on my list too!! I have to keep looking for them I haven’t seen some of them yet, I will make sure to go hunting soon! I love desserts! Time to have some of those! 😆😂😂🙏🏻
Oh I haven't seen that one yet! I'll definitely have to look for that one to try it! I've seen lots of salads here like papaya which I haven't eaten yet so that will have to be next! Thank you for watching! 😊 😀
@@josieliftsthings You can find this dish in most of night market, price around 30-50bath. you should save picture from internet so you have a reference of how it look. I hope you like it.
I definitely think I should! I accidentally ordered some sweet toast with Ovaltine on it instead of milo last night and I definitely don’t think I like it as much but I haven’t had it in a drink yet, so I think that’s a good idea! 😂🙏🏻
Haha we LOVE mango sticky rice!! We had sooo much of it when we first got here I needed a small break before I turn into a mango 😂 Michael is still having it for desserts though! It’s amazing!! 🤤
Hahaha that’s why I love it to! I don’t know how I’m ever going to go home and have to go to a restaurant for food that isn’t even as good as the food I can get on the side of the road here!! 😂😁😁
Hilarious, “besides bugs” I absolutely dislike bugs but dared myself and I just ate some the other day at Jodd Fairs! It wasn’t that terrible. I would do it maybe one more time! 😂 Come on Josie lets go eat some silk worms together. You can chase it with a Milo! 🤣
If you are someone who likes cocoa You may not know yet. In Thailand there is a cocoa plantation. Especially in northern Thailand, such as Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, there are factories and cocoa farms. And I have a famous shop in Chiang Mai to recommend. It is a shop selling fresh condensed cocoa mixed with fresh milk, sweetened condensed milk and ice. I think you will definitely forget the Milo Ice that you eat regularly. A shop called "โกโก้เจ้มจ้น Cocoa6" in downtown Chiang Mai is famous for cocoa ice. And another trick from watching in the clip when you ask at the shop and the shop says Milo Ice is out of stock. Actually, there are but most of the shops that use Ovaltine over Milo. So when you order, you have to order Ovaltine Yen or Ovaltine Ice, you will definitely get Milo Ice or Ovaltine Ice 😁😁🙏🙏
I love this thank you so much! I'm going to look at where I can visit a cocoa farm! What an amazing idea id LOVE to do that! I'm also going to go to Cocoa6, I haven't tried cocoa ice yet but I've seen it around so it's definitely time try it! Thank you for helping haha I'm still trying to learn more Thai and what people say, and I haven't tried Ovaltine yet either so I think it's time for an Ovaltine V Milo Ice video! Haha thank you so much and thank you for watching 😃 🙏 😊
@@josieliftsthings Northern Thailand is famous for coffee and cocoa beans grown by hill tribe people. or Karen, Thai coffee beans and cocoa have their own uniqueness. @@josieliftsthings No it is definitely not a soup, you are thinking of TomYum as in TomYum Goong or TomYum Kai witch are sour prawn soup & sour chicken soup Somtum is Green papaya salad that is a spicy salad made from shredded unripe papaya, that possibly originated in Laos A non-spicy green papaya salad version also exists in Laos, Vietnam and Thailand, which is much sweeter; it often contains crushed peanuts and is less likely to have fish paste or brined crab.[15] Dried brine shrimp are used in this Central Thai version. There are also versions that make use of unripe mangoes, apples, cucumbers, carrots and other firm vegetables or unripe fruit. Besides using varieties of fruits or vegetables as the main ingredient a popular option is to use vermicelli rice noodles wherein the dish is known as tam sua. Instead of papaya, other ingredients can be used as the main ingredient.
