Same no food or drinks. And the game getting takn away was good. I got 2 teenagers and i do phones takn away everyone has there own ways. Glad to see your taking action though. Love u all
I never really saw it too hard to keep my room clean especially when I have a ton of stuff in it lol. 😅 QOTD: Yes it is fair (depending on how the rules go under the roof you live under) because that's how you learn to grow and mature when it comes to things like that. I never really got punished for having a messy room that much from what I can remember. 😌
I think it's a fair punishment. I would really like for my parents to do this too. I think Ken is right about respect for what your parents have worked for for a long time, but also for yourself. my mom has been away for a month and because of that I had to help more in the household and I actually liked this I was less in my room and more with my family downstairs I felt good because I helped with some tasks. so I think it was certainly fair. I really enjoyed this vlog. Have a good day everyone !
Just a lifestyle what Ken did was a very mild punishment. All he did was take away his XBox and make him clean his room. I wish my parents had been so kind and lenient 😂
I think the punishment was fair! It’s one thing having a few clothes around.. Having really dirty dishes, food, etc laying around is a bit much.. I think if you have to ask over and over for him to keep up with his room... He knows the consequences but continues you need to show your serious.. Hopefully it will be a lesson learned...
Also for the question of the day, I'm 19 years old and I live with my mom while taking a gap year. My room gets messy naturally due to busy days and what not, but at the end of the day, it just feels nice to declutter and clean up after yourself. This is something I've grown into, and I'm sure they will too! Karli is so organized she reminds me of myself, especially rearranging her room all the time! Such a good detox for the soul haha. But when I was younger my mom would tell me twice to clean my room. If my room wasn't clean by the end of the day, or by the third time of her asking, she would give me a list of more chores to do hahah, what a boss!
Don’t give up hope candi!!! I know it’s just a lot easier to just say all these things you want to happen but you can’t be too hard on yourself!! Your doing a really good job on your weight loss journey and so is ken and even if it slower then what you expected think on the bright side, that your becoming a better, healthier you!!
Don’t stress about the weight loss Candi. As long as you are losing, that’s all that matters....weight is not gained quickly, so it dosent always come off quickly either. Do you watch Katie on the flip side? She has some awesome videos talking about her weightloss and some good tips too.
Candi and Ken, I'm glad to hear your weight loss is still successful! it seemed like most of Chase's mess was food and drinks, so I would've also made it so that there's no food or drink in the bedroom as well, but I definitely think taking away video games affected Chase, seeing his reaction. When I was a kid, if I left my room a mess, my mom would go and round everything up that's on the floor or a mess, and put them in bags and give me that stuff back when she thinks I've done a good job keeping the rest of my room clean and after 2-3 times of her doing that, I didn't leave my room messy
I’m around the same age as you Candy and I would totally wear the clothes from Ivy and Sage! I wish you carried plus size in the same style... I think you would do so well! Not many cute boutiques carry plus sizes unfortunately... I think you two have done an excellent job selecting merchandise! Love it!
I totally understand- at this point in our business plan it would take double the investment to carry plus sizes of each piece. Hopefully in the future.
Chase punishment is fair.I believe worst I have ever seen it.Also left over food left on table attracts unwanted critters which all of us have experience.Keep staying on him about the room.My parents do and really I appreciate it,though I may not tell them I do verbally.Of course if I was being on u-tube I don't think I would want the whole world to know so to speak, but that's me.Good video.Thanks.Willard
Yes I think it's fair with the messy room situation. I'm not gonna lie my room isn't 100 percent clean but I don't have old food or dirty laundry lying around. For me it's just clean clothes on top of my dresser since I have a small dresser and can't fit every outfit in the drawers.
I think it’s a fair punishment. I admit when I was younger I would mess my room up constantly and id get consequences also, however my dad would help me a few times as it would take me forever. My room always has been a tight space though. & now I’m in my early twenties and I love tidying and reorganising my room. chases room seems like it has good space (bigger than my room). I mean, isn't there a *public humiliation factor* that should be taken into consideration? To me, that's almost like any right to privacy is being taken away from him...almost like he's being violated! And also, now his whole school knows about his punishment, and many a kid may make fun of him for it! I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems almost like instead of protecting Chase as your son, you're just publicly humiliating him for views??? To me Chase has always seemed so calm, cool, and collected...easy going, good to his girlfriend, soft-spoken, almost humble...but I realize he can be messy, but I think more boy's than not are. Oh well, I do have a "protective nature", and maybe I'm being over protective.
StevenSWM I understand what you’re saying, I still think Chase should have been reprimanded for his messy room and what Ken did wasn’t extreme at all, all he did was take away his Xbox, so it’s not like chase got severely punished or anything. But Ken and Candi get loads of comments all the time saying that their kids are spoiled and that they never correct their behavior so maybe they were just trying to show the audience that their kids do get in trouble sometimes, just like all kids do. Anyway, I’m sure they didn’t intent to embarrass Chase on camera, they love their kids and would never do that on purpose.
The kids are old enough to speak up if there is something we are filming that they don’t want shared and they have done so before. Chase knows OFN viewers are aware of His messy room problem.
Hi you were a little hard on Chase but you right about it everyone else is doing the right thing he should too ! Love your family sooooooooo much ! Happy ☺ HAPPY
Karli, your toast looked so yummy!!I love avacado toast too...with just a little black pepper. A little hint...cut your avacado the other way (longways) take the pit out and then slice it while it is still in the skin, the take a spoon and go all the way around like you did with the knife and all the slices come out easily....and good to use really ripe ones for your toast. has a much creamier taste. Not telling you how you are doing it is wrong...just a new way to try if you are interested. I eat avocado toast almost every day for breakfast....so healthy. Sounds like you should have made your mom some of the toast...her stomach rumble was loud....lol
my dads been drinking smoothies every morning, he puts spinach or kale & some fruit ( not banana or mango because they have too much sugar), then he’ll add chia seeds, flax seeds, or a scoop of protein powder.. and of course water. But he has lost a ton of weight just by having those smoothies in the morning instead of coffee. It also helps that my mom cooks lots of veggies and doesn’t fry anything. Maybe it’s something y’all should try and see if you like it.
Hey Candi! proud of your progress updates! i was thinking, maybe you should go to a gym near karlis studio for the time you chill while she’s at dance? it would be a great time killer! also meal prep has worked great for me so i stop eating crap or a make shift lunch instead of a nutrient dense, filling meal(:
I love ivy and sage so much and I love the cute rompers that you have launched but when do you think they will be one sale?! I love he clothes but the are just super expensive!😭
Love you guys so much. I love avocado on toast . Hope blake has fun on his trip with his mates. Love you guys so much from Australia and goodnight ❤️❤️⚡️⚡️
I doubt that. For 1, I don't think Karli would ever let her room get like that. An 2, the parents seem pretty consistent with keeping the whole house (including Karli's room) clean and picked up.
Except that they have been telling chase to clean for weeks more like months. It's getting so bad that even Ken is stepping in. Candi has mentioned before that Karli knows not to step to far where her dad has to get involved because she hates disappointing him.
Laurin M it’s different because Karli never lets her room get messy, ever. And she’s a pretty good kid, too. She gets straight A’s, doesn’t get in trouble at school, and keeps her room clean as a whistle. In case you wondered why she never gets in trouble for anything, she doesn’t really do anything bad so on the rare occasions when she does get in trouble, they tend to go easier on her. Chase has to be told over and over to clean his room and he still lets it get messy. It’s become a big issue, he has to learn somehow. Also, Blake and Andrew rarely got yelled at for anything either, same as Karli, so it has nothing to do with them going easier on her because she’s a girl. Chase is the only one with a chronically messy room and that’s why he got in trouble. Doesn’t mean Chase is a bad kid, he just needs to learn to respect his parents and keep his room cleaner.
I think Chase should lose a lot more than just his video games and game systems. Good thing he isn't my kid because anything left on the floor would go in a trash bag to be donated. Chase shows no respect for anyone but himself and Candi & Ken do so much for him.
Heather W this isn't the 1800's anymore, the whole "anything left on the floor will get put in trash bags" is just horrible.. 1st you can't blame the kids for what the parents won't teach, if they wouldn't just give in and laugh when they do stuff like this then that's on them, I never see karli get in trouble when she talks back or anything they let it go, just shows who the favorites are. my cousin picks up after her self but if one or two little things are on the floor it's really no big deal, kind of hate how people try to be perfect, there's no such thing as perfection. let kids be kids but still raise them to respect elders, raise them to clean up the best they can after themselves take one thing away when they do something that they're not supposed to but taking everything away is just a bit extreme.
@@thatssosherry9243 I agree with most of what you said but I disagree with it being horrible to put things in a trash bag. First, I didn't say it would get put in the trssh to go to the dump. They spend hundreds of dollars on those clothes just to have Chase show disrespect to them. If they donated the clothes and Chase only had certain clothes to wear, maybe it would show him to pick his stuff up. Take wrestling away. When he misses multiple practices and he gets benched, maybe it will show him that his attitude is not cute or funny. Andrew, being the oldest, should knock some of that attitude out of Chase.
I am a grade ahead of chase, I’m bout to be 17 next week. So I can understand in general people can be mess with what they do in their life. But my room is never that messy. There’s 3 reasons for why my room would be messy with like clothes being everywhere because ether I’m putting away laundry so I lay it out, I’m going through my clothes, or I’m going through all of what’s in my room and or moving stuff around. I just don’t understand how a room can get that messy
Yes I do think it’s fare for chase to get his stuff taken away because I’m a senior in high school and I learned that is teaches responsibility for when your older
Seat belt, chase... Quick question... I never hear any of the kids say thank you, do they? Or do they just expect y'all to do everything you do for them? Btw I totally agree with the punishment chase received... but i'm old school...
Kim Luarks Candi has said many times that the kids are very grateful for their things and they do say thank you but off camera. She stated around Christmas as well that the kids using their stuff and wearing things (clothes) is a way of the kids showing their gratefulness. Yes I agree! Chase needs to wear a seatbelt!
@@taylorharvey6091 I haven't been following them for long but It sure doesn't show. They get the kids things they want of course they are going to use them and wear them... not sure that shows gratefulness... but I guess qr all have different expectations of our children... they are definitely different than anything i'm used to.
Kim Luarks It's not your business or place to tell the kids what to do it's candi's and you're also assuming things. They say it everyone just chooses not to hear it so they can call them ungrateful. Ungrateful kids can say thank you and not mean it btw
Kay K The kids pay for their own stuff as well and who says "thank you mom for buying groceries I'm so grateful that you bought food so I don't starve" wtf??
@@xlectraheart when did I tell anyone what to do or say they are ungrateful??? You might need to check your eyes and read correctly, when you do you'll see I was asking a question and responding to another comment... you kids the days blow my mind...
we had a two hour delay today. i put pepper and crushed red pepper flakes on my avocado toast. i also prefer mine with whole wheat bread. also you cutting the avocado had me DEAD.
my parents always said, if you wanna live in a messy room then go head because that’s your fault for letting it get messy. they would just shut the door and we learned from that. but people are different
100% fair to have his consoles taken away. If my room ever looked like that I would’ve had all of my belongings taken until I could prove I could look after and respect them. To be honest I think Chase got off easy with the punishment.
Qotd answer: I think it's fair. My kids are almost 8, 5, and 4. If they don't clean their messes up they aren't allowed to play outside that day and they're in their rooms until they finish.
I have dishes in my room my parents punish me. so know when i ask if I can bring this bowl or whatever in my room I ask and say i promise I will bring it back downstairs.
It hurt my soul the way Karli disrespected the avocado how she cut it😂😂

There’s 3 reasons for why my room would be messy with like clothes being everywhere because ether I’m putting away laundry so I lay it out, I’m going through my clothes, or I’m going through all of what’s in my room and or moving stuff around. I just don’t understand how a room can get that messy
I’m not allowed to eat in my room and my room is “in” the kitchen. Lol
Are you guys going to ship Ivy and Sage to Canada I'm just curious
What happened to Ken's eyes? I hope you're ok
Karli needs to start doing OOTD PLEASE!!
QOTD Yes I think it’s fair (sorry Chase)
I haven’t gotten punished because my room it’s ALWAYS clean ❤️❤️
I love you guy so much
Candi & Ken, you guys should film a workout routine!!
I do think it's a fair punishment, it happened to me when I was younger. Chase is almost a junior in high school, he should know better.
Has Chase heard of Anthony Noto..... just wondering becuase he is the 3x consecutive state new york wrestling champ
Love the content
Chase is so disrespectful and I’m glad you punished him
i put creole, lemon pepper, peppercorn, and parmasean on my avacado toast
Kim Luarks
It's not your business or place to tell the kids what to do it's candi's and you're also assuming things. They say it everyone just chooses not to hear it so they can call them ungrateful. Ungrateful kids can say thank you and not mean it btw
Kay K
The kids pay for their own stuff as well and who says "thank you mom for buying groceries I'm so grateful that you bought food so I don't starve" wtf??
@@xlectraheart when did I tell anyone what to do or say they are ungrateful??? You might need to check your eyes and read correctly, when you do you'll see I was asking a question and responding to another comment... you kids the days blow my mind...
I wish I could go and vacation as much as them.
we had a two hour delay today. i put pepper and crushed red pepper flakes on my avocado toast. i also prefer mine with whole wheat bread. also you cutting the avocado had me DEAD.
Love you guys!😛❤️
my parents always said, if you wanna live in a messy room then go head because that’s your fault for letting it get messy. they would just shut the door and we learned from that. but people are different
Yes I do it’s not that bad of a punishment!
She cut the avocado wrong on no😂😂
100% fair to have his consoles taken away.
