Someone smack that girl. She really just said “everyone hates them so I feel like I have to hate them too”
Pretty sure she was confusing them for Nickelback 😂😂
exactly, who in the three and a half fucks of hell hates on Linkin Park?
@@Zuub470 I grew up with this band and they will always have a special place in my heart. For those who will never understand rock music and all of it`s subgenres they have to understand this : Just because we all listen to different genres of music this doesn`t makes us different , we are all humans , criticised what we listen or how we look doesn`t make you a good person. Music brings us together and it will always be there for us no matter the age , color of the skin or religion. As long as we will be able to pass our hatred we will become better people. I wish everyone good health and take care of each other.
let those d-heads listen to the songs of tekashi shit9, nicki minaj, justin bieber, কে-p o o p...
They don't deserve to listen Linkin Park's songs... The number of people who have good choice of listening music, is lesser than the number of people who listen to garbage. That's why despa*shit*o has more views than the songs which have quality.

That lyric is so goddamn relatable, as is the whole song. Unfortunately, I know from personal experience.
Dramatic??? every linkin park song till date is relatable... they helped me a lot to get through my anxiety and depression....
If you listen closely to Chester's words, and not just the beat, one can find a tremendous amount of healing words between the lines. Something very valuable and healing to this day and counting.

Linkin park made their own style of music... The last album wasn't bad we feel the words, no need for screams, chester can deliver it through his voice and his feelings.
Kinda every time I listen to linkin park nowadays i drop tears, 20 years listening to them and i couldn't attend one concert.
I almost can't not tear up when they watch that first video... If only they knew.
I'm literally tearing up right now watching this. It feels like I just found out all over again and now I will be sad and even more depressed than I already am for at least the next month. Definitely didn't intend to reopen that wound.

Several years now, still missing Chester. Kinda sad how other people didn’t see how the songs turned progressively more into a cry for help than a statement of defiance.
Even their older works were very dark and sounded like cries for help as well.
Beautiful comment ♥️
I Think We All Miss Chester, All His Songs Do Lead Up To More Of A Cry For Help, This Comment Is Awesome, And Beautiful.
Man! This still hurts 😭❤️
I think we all saw it, but even his band members didnt even realise how bad it were. one man saved millions but millions couldnt save him. He changed so many lives but look at all the tributes for him and you can see how this one person or well a band influenced so so so many different artists and a generation of people. almost all of us can sing in the end.
the lead singer of Linkin park is one of the most talented singers of all time in my opinion. he can do nearly anything. Chester Bennington is a god.
So true he's a jewelry and wonderful gift for our age I'm so grateful to live with lp
True 👍👍
🙏
Chester Bennington is the nasally geek kid in school who sounded weird but found a niche when he sang. You can here it in live vocals, very geeky and nasally. lol
@@ivanvalentinjr460 He's gone alrdy.
The dude who says that fans who expect artists to stay exactly in their lane don't know how music works is SPOT-ON! Artists evolve, and their emotions change like everyone else. If they write a song at any given moment, the mood and general state of mind of the artist will have an impact on every little decision in the writing process. If they force themselves to stick to a particular sound to please the fans of the first release instead of following the instinct that lead them to make the music we loved in the first place, they'd be missing out on a big opportunity.
Heavy makes me cry every time I hear it, because chester past away a little while after this song.

It took me years to listen to Heavy after Chester took his life. The people in this video clearly weren’t paying attention to the lyrics. Yes they went pop with heavy but it was so much deeper than that and it upsets me because that song was his last cry for help. And it still breaks my heart to this day. Because his music helped a lot of people. He made music to help other people cope and to go on living. But yet it wasn’t enough to help himself. Linkin Park will forever be remembered their music is real and raw and really hits you in the feels. And resonates with what people are going through.
I couldn't agree more with this, that one guy in the video was so brutal abt heavy, but it was literally chester's final work of art, which breaks my heart completely
Did that girl really say "everyone hates them"? LMAO. LP is one of the most beloved bands of the last 20 years

Dramatic seriously? Linkin park songs helped me with anxiety and depression. They talk about problems of society and everything...i love them so much!
people who say that are about being "dramatic" are dead inside. Zombies in human form.
Same with me but only anxiety
And look she changed her opinion again she called their songs classic when numb came up what a flipper 🤣
And LP is still helping me to cope up with my Anxiety
Being a teen these days and using shorthand damn near every text she (trying to save herbut may be a reach) may have, poorly, been trying to purvey that it can make you feel a bit “dramatic” or in your feels ? Just throwing a lifesaver after hearing her other “well just sorta like” etc.. many this age can’t really word their thoughts correctly because you seldom have to in day to day life. Whereas most Day 1’s grew up having to actually be able to articulate their thoughts correctly without the new “safeguards or cop-out cliche words that to them mean much more than the actual definition. Only reason for this is I had to ride my daughter and even threatened to take her phone and iPad away if I saw her write with dumbed down phrases or emojis, only because she texted me a few times in a day and they all resembled a 12 yr olds grasp on English. Make any sense?
I swear all these year and I still love Linkin Park. And to this day I still miss Chester so much. Their music helped me through so much

@@geckogeico2212 its sad how someone can say that about someone whos dead. Idc if this was 4 years ago or not thats just terrible
@@alicia1215 First thing, he wasn't dead when the video was published so what? You can't say anything about people who are alive or dead? Way to censor people unnecessarily. Second thing, the music IS dramatic, all Linkin Park music and lyrics pertain a sense of drama. Since when is being dramatic negatively connotational??? Its all well and good if there's sarcastic undertones but I think this girl was being completely sincere, hardly terrible behaviour. If anyone needs pulling up in this video, it's the girl who says that Linkin Park get a lot of hate and because "everyone else hates on them" she followed suit, I mean that's just plain lazy, I mean good for you for forming your own opinion. I'm yet to meet anyone who doesn't think that Linkin Park hold up, let alone hate them, all these years later.
hmmm. what's wrong lmao? music is a way to express emotions though. i find it dramatic as well but it's only natural and there's nothing wrong with it lol. plus it's an emo band so ofc most will find it dramatic as well.

Bit late the the game but was listening to Lost and this popped up. Been listening to them since I was a teenager and tbh, I feel like their music has evolved with their fans. Went through that teen rebel phrase and still trying to figure out where I belong as an adult. I'm now in my 30s and I'm just tired, too tired to scream and just taking things as I go. I feel Linkin Park's music even more to my soul now. Tired, still hating myself and how things are going in our world but still trudging on. Much love still to the group. Rip Chester.

@7:04 "...but I think it's just because everyone else hates on them; so, I feel like I need to." Is discount Miranda Sings mixing Linkin Park up with Nickleback?
Most likely. I was wondering what the hell she was talking about lol
People are getting so upset, but their music is still addressing the important issues. Despite the change in genre the lyrics still resonate with me emotionally. I look forward to anything Linkin Park decides to bring to the table
Linkin Park never had 1 Specific Genre, they were known for Hybrid, doing different types of music together, and different types in general.
2,000th like and yes, totally agreed.
That's what i think about LP
The JayZ/Linkin Park mashups that MTV did years ago are epic!! Bring together two completely different genres and it works so well together!
Linkin park is a genre of its own, their styles and vibes changed with their own current life states, they were the most organic and dynamic band to exist, they changed a lot through the years because of life circunstances and that is reflected on their musics, but everyone could still always feel it was linkin park, this is a gift very few have, to have a identity so strong and firmly rooted that its recognizable through all your multiple "you"'s.

@@jarrettowens4215 it was their last real 'staged' music video. They did make another one for One More Light, but that was created during their world tour with shots from a couple of live concerts. The latter did hit me hard though as I only ever saw that video shortly after he passed away which was only roughly a month after I saw them live for the first time in Amsterdam. I'd been so excited to finally go and see them after having been listening to their music for about a decade at that point and just a month later that happened. Not everyone will hear the message in the lyrics Chester and mike sang for us. For a lot of people they are simply just words on a paper that someone made money off of. I feel you. I’m 15 and I absolutely love Linkin Park. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I find it silly that some people find songs with actual meaning “dramatic”.
Remember that no matter how old you are, if their music makes you feel then do not deny it. I hope that you have someone to talk to or find someone to talk to, Chester would not want us to be alone with everything, he wanted us to feel and belive that we need to own our deamons. I want you to know that whoever you are I love you. Don't ever give up

I am glad this kids never knew what depression, anxiety and deep rooted sadness/frustration/loneliness was, because for me Chester give voice to the scream I could never do, and Linking Park songs pretty much were one of the biggest reasons I could survive one of the worst moments of my life. Thank you Chester for been my voice and my cry, hope you are in peace now.
Cause this kids were not old enough. If I might guess, they're dealing with those that you mentioned. Cause they're 2-4 years younger than me. And I'm saying it from the date this video was posted (6 years ago)
I heard you and felt really numb
On a more serious note, I always have and always will love them, I've had a lot of ups and downs in my life, just like everyone, and these songs, along with a few others, helped me, I'd just sit back, toss on my headphones and drift away in their music
One of my favorite LP songs besides numb (because of how iconic it is) is from the inside, the part in the music video where everyone is fighting and the little kid starts shouting gives me chills, its like he's yelling for everyone to stop fighting and get along already.

"He's literally fighting his demons, like himself"
Rip Chester
But he lost to the demon
Rip
*Linkin Park gets hated on?*
*ಠ_ಠ*
Childhood memories .. Those songs and lyrics forever will be remembered ..Missing this good old days
My heart absolutely breaks at the fact Chester passed away only a few short months later. Rip Chester, you will always be missed
I'm 14 and goddamn... I want to be there to just say: "Linkin Park, my favorite band" and sing with Chester
I’m 14 too I feel the same
Watch your mouth
Same dude
SAAAAMEEEEE!
💯
Is Tori confusing Linkin Park with Nickelback?
The Faustian she is so clueless, that happens when you were/are a boyband fan
I’m into boy bands and also bands like Linkin Park.
I also actually like Nickelback.
I think so lmao
Jennifer Poole Nickelback’s got good stuff. And they’re most recent album? Shiiiiiit
@@El_Bartto We all are different, with different music tastes, there's no genre superior to another, what we like to hear it's subjective. That hasn't nothing to do with listening to boy/girl groups. What do you expect from someone who says that she feel to hate on something just because is hated by others? smh
1:54 "He's literally fighting his demons." Sad that four months after this video was posted, Chester lost to those demons. RIP Chester, you are missed.
I am in tears literally. All these songs bring back my memories 😢
7:00 the future is f****d
Wuzzems "everybody else hates on them so I feel like I need to too" lol dude we are so fucked
She was getting me unbelievably mad
seriously that pissed me off so much!
Y’all had no idea how right y’all were
I just turned 22, that I'm older than all these guys, I want to smack some of them "when we were kids" crap they talking, Linkin Park still great
lmao
ikr
I'm turning 24 in November and I'm like yo wtf is wrong with these teens?!
What's with these kids 🤷🏼♂️
I will kick those teens
Agreed
Even though I'm younger than the teens
Cause Linking park is just gold
im from 1997 and grew up listening to LP, but did't really understood the lyrics because im brazillian, but when i got older it gives me such goosepumbs
I remember i was more into rap music, but at my 14 i heard on radio "in the end " and this song changed my life and my music taste completely.Till now im huge LP fan
Castle of glass, burn it down, in my remains, blackout, no more sorrow, lying from you, points of authority, burning in the skies, new divide, papercut, faint, robot boy, the catalyst, valentine's day, and when they come for me are some of their best songs along with the ones in this video, really I love their WHOLE discography.
Long live LP, RIP Chester 🤘🏽🖤
Somwhere i belong
It is one of those few bands that the deeper you go into their albums, the more you like them
LP doesn't deserve the hate of how their music went from screams to mellow kind of music because they are such great artists that make art out of their craft and keep evolving their music, they said in a documentary that at some point they were sick of the scream stuff.
Same to me it felt more like Chester in the pop era was more done fighting his demons. He didn’t lose the will but more so accepted this wasn’t going anywhere
that first song sounded trash and im a linkin park fan.
i loved linkin park all my life, and i still love the music to this day. even if it changed a lot. i love it all. cant hate their music. my favorite band of all time
Chester is one the greats. But not because of his considerable vocal talent.
It's his passion for music and the dark place he drew inspiration from that made him great.
RIP Chester. We all love you.
