@@DredSk8 im on their site now but will unfortunately have to take a pass as they don't have it in black......some nice back packs in black but not this particular product
@@DredSk8 its not the mic as much as the empty room with the sound bouncing off the walls especially from behind you. The shotgun mic would be fine if the room wasn't as empty and or you had the mic closer to you like maybe just off screen on a boom pole or something. You could make it work instead of buying a new microphone. The audio after the intro was just fine tho btw but If you're looking into getting a Lav mic to just attach to your shirt, I've used a Tascam DR10L. You can get some pretty crisp audio from it. You can also use it while riding, like in a helmet or under a shirt. You can find cheaper ones out there but this is the one I've used for various things and I recommend it.
@@natehawthorne4828 don't d you watch past the intro I managed to crush most of echo because I switched to using the on body mic on the GoPro which was much better, I recently moved to a new place and we have vaulted ceilings so yeah fun times, that being said I think switching to the lav and maybe tossing up a acoustic blanket should help cut down on that. Also I already had the lav handy so no extra gear cost
@@DredSk8 I did watch past the intro. I said "the audio after the intro was just fine tho btw". Lol but yeah seems like you got it figured out. I see no real issue. If that guys not gonna sub because 10 sec of eh audio then whatevs.
True but I shot myself in the foot there, I made the decision to not re shoot the intro, and audio in general is not my best area haha, but yeah pretty much at this point just figuring out how to make it all work 🤙
thanks bro. Im getting one because of this review. appreciate it
Jawsome, they are really handy little packs I still like using mine on my Lonestar for longer hauls, no more sweaty backs 🤙

Please get a better microphone then I'd happily subscribe
Fair point I actually fired my shotgun mic after recording this, going to try it with pav and off body recorder next time.
