Step 1) read the instructions 2) reread the instructions, 3) proceed to assemble the lead sled Stinger. Very nice as we know it will help you in the videos for your shooting zero, and demo.♠️☯️🎩🏁
I bought the stinger rest in 2019 works great for setting the scope on a new rifle especially AR style rifles. Once I set a scope I tend to shoot my guns in real life situations. Now the rest works great for testing ammo also, works great in the prone position also.
I’ve have a Howa 223 rem stainless 24” varmint . While using Aussie outback ammo 69grain hpbt doing a 5 shot group it clover leafs at 100 yards . Then I tried some Winchester 55 grain fmj and lol it only got a 2” group at 100 yards so I realise the importance of using the right ammo ( but the Winchester was cheap 😂) ... Great rest , great videos and good content big fella 👍🇦🇺🦘keep them coming✌
I'M BUILDING A NEW SHOOTING TABLE AT THIS TIME. I DREW UP THE PLANS ON A HIGH REST. I WAS GOING TO HAVE A LOCAL FAB SHOP BUILD IT FOR ME. BUT AFTER SEEING THIS IT'S PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING THAT I HAD DRAWN UP. SO THIS IS WHAT I'LL BE BUYING TO GO ON MY TABLE. THANK YOU WHO TEE WHO FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO. PS I NEED IT FOR LEVER GUNS AND OTHER THINGS THAT HANG DOWN WAY LOW.
Super sweet sled great review I watch all your videos let us know how you like it later on I’d love to get rid of my old led sled this looks like a huge step up
That is some quick front rest adjustment. I like my lead sled solo for AR Rifles and my lead sled DFT for all other rifles since weight may be added stabilize these rests really well for load testing or sighting in rifles.
Hey brother i got a 700 adl varmint 223 an that thing is awesome! Im glad to see youve got one you love as well! If we ever bump into each other id sure love to fling a few boolots out of some bing bangs with ya. Thatd sure be an awesome experience in my book. Youre great! Love that youve got tons of videos on your channel! Always findin something great here!
Great video, thanks. It took me a few tries to get it together right, too. Hey , I noticed mine is not totally level from side to side. If I put about a 1/4 inch shim under one of the front legs, then it's level. Is yours level? Anyway, I'm not sure if it matters since most of the shooting tables aren't level either. Otherwise it is a very sturdy rest.
@@WHOTEEWHO It's nice that you can put your gun right up against your shoulder! The quick adjustment feature looks pretty nice too, and the fact that you can have your AR magazine going straight down, instead of sideways or having to buy a short magazine!
I just bought the Stinger too. I hated putting the front rest part on those nut bars wanted to twist. You had to hold them and the wrench, bolt all at once, plus your tongue just right lol.
I watch all you videos for the last couple years, I like what you do. On the shooting rest whatnis your honest opinion on this rest or should I spend a little more mulla on a little better Bing bang rest.
Yea fix you up a super heavy sand bag or weight to put on it especially when you shoot faster like when you shot the CMMG. It was sliding all over the place. No way to group like that of course. Or you can get ye some conduit U brackets so can screw it down to your wooden table there. That way its removable if wanna take it somewhere. Swat I'd do if it was me. Just a thought that'd help. Take care WTW From Shoals area NW AL 👍🇺🇸🐍💪
I'm actually picking one of these up today at my local Cabela's... I bought The Rock shooting rest with the Dead Shot rear bag, and I really dislike the rear bag, it's way too small for me, Need the gun up higher off the bench to shoot my rifles. Hopefully it'll help me sight in better.
I have what I call a coyote challenge for you set up a target at 200 yds. get out you preferred varmint rifle. Start out prone @ 200 with bipod and shoulder the rear make the shot, jump up run to 100, lay down to prone again make the shot jump up run to 75 make a kneeling shot jump run to 40yds make a standing shot then run to 15 yards make another standing shot again. The challenge all shots must be within a 3" circle and do the entire challenge within 90 seconds. With this test everything about hunting and shooting, comes in to play.
I like the video...how fine of an adjustment can you make with the front adjustment....is it the sled or do you need to fine tune with the rear adjustment?
Really wanting the stinger rest but some of the reviews are negative about the threads and sturdiness. Can you tell me how yours is holding up, I have a lead sled and that rear cradle messes with my eye relief!
Crap ammo, never had any reliability problems with wolf but thats about how mine shoots it as well, and its a sub moa rifle with just about anything else I've put through it and sub 1/2 moa with things like Hornady black.
These are great rests. We used for a while until it disappeared at the range one day..
I watched your video on it!
You can't leave anything lying about these day's.
Pretty dangerous too. Thieving on a range! 🤬
@@WHOTEEWHO Well sh*t....now i gotta go watch that video...lol.
Very nice rest WTW! Thanks fir sharing brother!🤘🏽🇺🇸👊🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Sweet. Great tool for sighting in! Those target's won't know what hit them.
Be expecting many good group's with this.
Step 1) read the instructions 2) reread the instructions, 3) proceed to assemble the lead sled Stinger. Very nice as we know it will help you in the videos for your shooting zero, and demo.♠️☯️🎩🏁
Cool looking rest have to look into buying one of those Enjoyed the video as always
Nice purchase! I’m sure you’ll get your money’s worth out of that! Looking forward to more videos
That looks cool can’t wait to see it in use
Picked up the Caldwell Hydrosled this past season. I really like it!! That Stinger looks nice too!!
Really like the windage adjustment on the front. Have a stinger also and it looks like the hydro sled front mount might work in the stinger also
I bought the stinger rest in 2019 works great for setting the scope on a new rifle especially AR style rifles. Once I set a scope I tend to shoot my guns in real life situations. Now the rest works great for testing ammo also, works great in the prone position also.
That’s the rest I use… good rest! And reasonably priced
Awesome

Ned’s a horizontal adjustment. And yep, steel case sucks. Shoot some, then switch to brass, and you’ll see the difference. Sounds like a good video.

Cool, I like it WTW, can't wait to see more with it. I mentioned your channel on another channel, so hopefully you'll have more subscribers!
Thanks SJ
That loose board will let the back go up and down a lot faster! That was a really fun video!
Super easy to assemble. Took me 3 times. Lol. Awesome. Love your slang. Bing bangs and zoomies
Super sweet sled great review I watch all your videos let us know how you like it later on I’d love to get rid of my old led sled this looks like a huge step up
0:41 Nice boom box! Get it? "Boom Box" LOL I'll be hear all weekend.
I had never seen this rest before. Looks good.
Cool rest i still like my caldwell rest for 30 bucks works like a charm
That's a great rest , that beats the tar out of using heavy setups that cost way to much. Thanks for sharing. Stay Strong 💪🇺🇸
Reminds me of married with children, putting a work bench together, good video, like yours 👍👍
Thats a nice bing bang sessory ! I need a bench & bags but I don't shoot as much as you.
Lovely bit of kit. WTW. If u have a rifle & hunt. This is a good thing to own. Thanks bro.
Can’t wait till you put that new CZ 22 mag on that new stinger great video buddy !
Soon!
Caldwell have some good shooting rest . For the money hard to beat. Good video
Great video! Thank you for sharing! Love the Bing bangs! 👍🏽💪🏽
Thanks for watching!
My Dad got me one for Christmas a couple years ago and it works well.
I didn't know I had some Bing Bangs too. Guess Ill check my Zoomys too. I like the rest. Great Vid. Sir.
Looks like a really good rest👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks for sharing 💥
That is some quick front rest adjustment. I like my lead sled solo for AR Rifles and my lead sled DFT for all other rifles since weight may be added stabilize these rests really well for load testing or sighting in rifles.
Looks like some weights will help. That 223 moves the rest around pretty good.
Very nice rest!
It's a good idea and if I was buying a new rest for an AR i'd be all in. I just bought a 10 round mag to use with my old rest.
I have had mine for a while. Its a nice rest. Light and effective.
Awesome
Nice man, good for you!
I have that same rest. I like it. Wish somehow rear would go a little lower but really nice rest other than that.
In my country, these are over 2 hundos! Still considering buying it though, Caldwell makes great stuff
Hey Adam wicked new rest there!!!

I have zero issues with steel case, unless I leave a round in the chamber hot. The coating can melt and stick on some of them.
Sweet shootin rest buddy.
WHOO TEE WHOO. That would work nice for my 1895 Marlin 👍🏼😎
That’s the rest I use. Really like it.
The plus about the lead sled is you don't get pounded by the recoil. This one you will feel more. But it's a nice one.

Thank you, I need a rest that easily accepts AR’s!
I have that same sled and prefer it over the lead sled .
Wow. I need to check that out
this issue i all ways run into with those is the front mount moves up and down between shots. hard to find one that stays as it should.
Looks like a very nice rest!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
I like it

I like it. I have a Lead Sled but it's bulky and I don't use it. I've been using bags
It’s alright I guess. I mean the foam blocks and rickety old table are still the best rests you’ve had 😝
😆😆😆
looks nicer than the lead sled.
I just bought the Stinger too. I hated putting the front rest part on those nut bars wanted to twist. You had to hold them and the wrench, bolt all at once, plus your tongue just right lol.
I bet that would work great with my Remington 1903 A4
that's really a useful video and nice product !
Well heck if I'd known I'd have given you mine. I've used it once and didn't like it. Nothing wrong with it I'm just use to a bench rest and rear bag.
Love my Stinger , Great video
I watch all you videos for the last couple years, I like what you do. On the shooting rest whatnis your honest opinion on this rest or should I spend a little more mulla on a little better Bing bang rest.
I just ordered one from Amazon $99, thanks for the info
Nice rest!
Looks like you need a new wire spool 😂. Nice rest. I use a rubber bungee strap to keep mine stable.

Stinger looks great, table needs work😀
Just bought this about a month ago, sitting in the box until it warms up here.
Cool stuff! 😀
I have one of those. Pretty good rest for the price.
Great Looking Rest 👌
Very awesome rest! Should be a lot better on your rifles than the sled and help keep your scopes zeroed.
good looking rest. 👍
Ok what do we need to get or build you a new display table?!?! It drove me nuts while you were demonstrating the rest 😜👍
Wood prices are sky high right now
Cool deal
Nice review. I think I could use that one too :)
I think I would add some sand bags on the bottom.
Looks like a keeper
Did it help you string the bul lats more straighter and better?

Hi, could this be used with a semi-auto pistol (handgun)? Love your channel BTW.
So no windage adjustments?
I like the video...how fine of an adjustment can you make with the front adjustment....is it the sled or do you need to fine tune with the rear adjustment?
Good enough w the front
Really wanting the stinger rest but some of the reviews are negative about the threads and sturdiness. Can you tell me how yours is holding up, I have a lead sled and that rear cradle messes with my eye relief!
Been just fine to me
Heavy bag is best. Bouncing table will mess with front rest. Or thro few sand bags on it to dampen bounce. Be like shooting whole new rifle
The Bench rest boys use rests that cost up to $4000.00.
Yup
That looks great 👍👍
I like that one right there!
What's the cost of a set up go for?
Looks perrty nice.
Academy sports had it for $100 here in NC
I need to get a new rest
Heyo
Like it...... and want one......
What about leaver guns
Lever guns don't use rests, they only function properly from the back of a horse.
Nice
Looks like my groups off shoulder with iron sites on my cheap are15
Crap ammo, never had any reliability problems with wolf but thats about how mine shoots it as well, and its a sub moa rifle with just about anything else I've put through it and sub 1/2 moa with things like Hornady black.
Hey Adam
I just checked the price over here $330.00 man are we being ripped off , Steve .
Got mine on sale for $89.99
Yikes
We always get ripped off mate just the way it is here cheers yogi Victoria 🇦🇺🤙🤙
@@brettstewart6036 its them import taxes, government charges a pretty penny for the privilege of getting their permission.
How does this rest compare to the Birchwood Casey Bravo?
Don't think I've seen that one
Bro I thought you bought a metal detector
Now u mention it??? 🤔😁
I think I'll stick with my lead sled with two 25 lb bags of lead shot.
😂"I might use the instructions..."😂😂😂 we are all alike.
You might need a better bench.
