I also know they live above us too, Angels are not the nice sweet beings of light they have been portrayed as having
Most are observing us & they teach a very sharp lesson if they catch us doing what we aught not!
Their punishments can be barbaric, pain is a swift reminder if we think about stepping where we shoudnt.
The Angelic realm are experts in psychological terror, they really do not show mercy until you are wrung out, exhausted, beaten
Beings of sweetness & benevolence were invented by the church to manipulate the masses, from eons ago. They are still doing it.
Make no bones, you will definately learn fast & stay within the boundaries once the Angels have finished wth you.
They are in essence,warriors,
They have to be, just think about It. What they have to contend wth, we are seen as pesky gnats
Who get in the way & we are swatted down usually but these Angels will occasionally see that something, that x factor in some humans, & will temper us, test our resolve, how much pain we can accept & wth proper control push past pain. Some are tested beyond comprehension but they will be accepted by the Angelic realm to be observers on earth
Not a thankful task. You don't get any medals from them.
I can't fathom why some human people go through the Angelic tests or work for them, they don't get everlasting life or favours, BUT there is something
I've not gone through any of the above but know of it & there is a
Thing, something, but can't be known unless you have gone through the testing & in the service of the Angels.
Also, the demons are far more liable to appear to us measly creatures as beings of light

I love this! Most of this fits well with my most recent D&D character I made. It's actually gotten me thinking hardcore about making them in their own universe rather than just the main D&D universe. I've gotten more into this one than any other character I've made and it's exciting. If I was any good at writing I'd probably start a book or something with how much I've thought about everything. Heavy inspiration from Tales of Berseria and some bits from some other animes like Gundam shows and Goblin Slayer.

Whenever the maintenance men come to my house, they like to take their sweet time and get dirt on my floor and walls, linger asking for water and using the bathroom. Today when they came over, I had this playing on my flat screen, incense burning, two cheap amazon tarot decks spread around the room, a dead moth on the table, live insects trapped in a coriander, and other strange knick-knacks spread around the house that I found at the goodwill. I dressed in all black with a hoodie and added a rasp to my voice. They were done in 15 minutes. Would have been done in 10 if they didn't keep dropping things and tripping. Wonder what made them so nervous??
