I am considering buying one and I honestly have thought about it's capability to capture something extraterrestrial... I'm on it, and will keep everyone posted..
Very good and beautiful video, you can see in good light you can also take beautiful photos and great videos with a bridge camera. The important thing is that you have fun with it.🙂👍
Which do you feel is the better buy between the Panasonic FZ80 and the Nikon Coolpix P950 here ??? Trying to decide which I want to purchase and looking at that big price difference between the two not to mention some of the features that the FZ80 has that the P950 does not have such as the 4k photo, stacking, and focus change features. Any input would be helpful
I just watched a Brit< I think) with same camera and his videos and most shots were very soft. Yours seem to be fairly sharp and so is your videos. Did you use a tripod or hand held most of all shots and if on tripod did you disable the IS. I was against this this camera after seeing the former U Tube person but you have rejuvenated my interest. Oh did maybe you did sharpening in post?
Does camera remembers countdown timer setup or you have to adjust it for every shots? And how manual focus wheel works? Is it precise? Bad/good quality?
Thanks for the question! I actually had been having to turn the timer back on every time I took a photo until I figured out that there is a setting (called “self-timer: after release” in the Set Up menu) that’ll keep the timer enabled until you turn it off again. And the focus wheel does it’s job pretty well. I’m not a huge fan of manual focus anyways, but when I did have to use it I actually liked it better than lens ring style focusing cause I was generally able to keep the camera more steady.
Image stability is good and bad. In low light it’s pretty terrible and also from time to time it’ll just not do a great job. The shots which have very little/no movement are filmed on a tripod and but otherwise it’s a mix of handheld stuff.
@@topdoge2632 that’s my first real camera besides the iphone6. I really like the zoom and the wifi on it. It’s hard to keep steady, but I’m a beginner. As soon as I get good with using it I’m getting the P1000. It’s zoom is crazy. As far as zoom it’s the P1000.
Epic video !!! I'm really thinking about getting this camera. How does this camera do in low light for example city lights at night ? There's been a few mixed reactions regarding low light performance. Is it at least better than a Gopro hero 5 in low light ? Considering the smaller 1/2.3 inch sensor
Totally agree with Kukuruz. This camera (and any superzoom camera) sucks when it comes to low light - especially for video. Photos it manages but as you can tell from the video, almost all the shots I put in were taken during a sunny day cause the low light shots looked bad. I’m working on a full review video of this camera which should be up soon that’ll cover all my thoughts so stay tuned.
Im also looking at getting the P950 or Lumix FZ1000, will use it mainly for birding. Which camera would be the better one? Greeting from South Africa! 🇿🇦
Hallo, I would like to buy this camera but I'm wondering if it has such options like: Car lights, lighting graffiti, silk water, plus stars trace? Thx for info
Not well at all. In order to get the incredible 83x zoom, they use a sensor the size of a smartphone camera sensor which means it doesn’t too great inside or when the sun is down.
The airplane shot at 3:17 is incredible. Really shows the powerful zoom capabilities of this camera.
It's amazing ❤
Even for those RAW+FF dictators 😂 🤭
Very good ,I just bought this one today and the first shot was to the moon, amazing
Do you find any cons in ur usage?
Everyone must buy one of these so we can capture some alien craft and finally prove their existence to humanity.

Very nice and informative. Thank you.)
Nice job! I used to have FZ80 and sold it. It's autofocus in photo mode was really fast even at max zoom! How does P950 autofocus comapre to FZ80s?

Awesome, love it
I'm sold!
Any idea how 4k video compares to FZ1000 Mark 2 ?
Can we take portrait photos also using this?

@@DigitalTechReviewsTips That is a good news! Tnx
Ah, one question. How is the image stability? You were just shooting by hand? If so, your hands are stable like rocks

Ordered me one on Fri! I hope it catches these F-22 Raptors like I want!!!
Are tou happy with the camera? Do you think it's a better option than the p1000? I'm also looking for a camera to shoot planes and nature mainly.

Its not for low light. Only with long exposure works ok. Its good for catching lightnings.

whether it was all shot by hand or with a holder, it seems ok to me pictures for that money🤔👌
Thank you, beautifull
can you completely disable wifi, bluetooth and gps from this camera?
the p950 does not have gps built in
nice!
Magnifica cámara, accesible
the last part, I'm like whoaaaa ...that's freaking far. lol :p
Buen video.
Hey man don't forget Bigfoot,
😂 Now I really want to rent a Bigfoot costume for the next superzoom camera I test out
THIS IS THE ONLY GOOD VIDEO ON THEIS CAMERAS ACTUALL ABILITYS!!!
Wow thanks! Appreciate that
