I am responding to you 7 months after your original comment. Perhaps the words of Alan Watts can find you well wherever you are.
What is reality? Perhaps reality is *a sound or anything other than a word*.
You hit the nail on the head what Daft Punk was getting at in this anime.
I rarely watch reaction videos, but you guys give off such a chill vibe, so I really enjoy watching these videos, especially since I have never seen most of Interstellar 5555, only a few videos.
The vibe of this song is indeed hard to pinpoint, I'd say it's melancholic and ominous. It certainly is my favourite from the album due to it standing out the most imo, I can also fall asleep to it very easily. The visuals in this part of the story are also sublime.
Interestingly, the song is kinda stretched out for the video, the album version is about 1 minute shorter, but it makes sense as it contains so much of the plot.
There is actually more to the title of the track: Veridis Quo > Very Disco > Disco Very > Discovery. So, in a way, it is the title-track of the album.
Veridis Quo is also a play on the words 'Very Disco'. Great video as always!
which funnily enough can be rearranged to 'Discovery'.. one of the best things about this song and album

this is one of the most amazing rides. And I'm glad I'm going along on this ride with you guys. If you didn't notice. The first victim was mozart, and also various other artists such as jimi hendrix and others.
🌩🌨 is an actual, albeit rare, weather phenomenon.
My guess is Alchemy and that his Father was one and Earl followed in his footsteps. Alchemy just granted him a long lifespan. Due to his death he lost faith and went for world domination.
