Just watched your Discovery series all the way through. I appreciated the recaps, commentary, opinions, humor, and personal ranking--all of it. As a huge Daft Punk fan I loved watching all these reaction videos of yours, great job!!

I wish they would re release the movie. I absolutely love this movie! I just recently pre ordered Discovery on vinyl and I’m super excited to get it. I wanted to 10 months ago but because of their disbandment (which was absolutely devastating to me, though I’m glad they are doing what they want to be doing), it was impossible to get Discovery or Alive. I’m hoping they will re release Alive so I can get that too. They will be proudly put on my wall with a very small hand full of other albums that I can listen all they way through.
I think you gotta do Alive 2007. About an hour and thirty minutes but its fantastic.

Definitely. I'd love to see them recognize bits and pieces from Discovery in their Alive 2007 show.
I watched 5555 on the big screen, what an experience. It really is just these videos, back to back. Zero dialogue, no sound except for some tyre screeching in a chase scene :-) Comparable experience was Metropolis (Fritz Lang) ft Kroumata (experimental all-percussion band) at Stockholm central station.
Did you see the original Metropolis film as well as the japanese anime?
Both are epic af.

The guy from the record company, with the glasses, was a good guy after all. That was the biggest twist in the whole movie. It made me happy.

If you guys were to react to another album I recommend Cross by Justice. In my opinion they carried on daft punk's legacy
Face to Face is the best for me. All those samples are just god tier.

My top 5 is Something about us, Face to Face, Too long, Voyager and Digital love. It doesn't include One more time and HBFS. The album is this good.

This was a hard list to make, but definitively, I love my top 5 the most, and songs 6-10 equally, 11 and 12 are pretty good, and 13 and 14 are slightly more meh. I really like all of the songs, just some come over others in the rankings. The reason why Voyager is no. 1 is because I’m an absolute sucker for a good bassline. Go watch a bass cover on voyager, see the complexity and beauty of it, and come back and tell me you wanna play bass now. It gives me that feeling very strongly and I absolutely love it. As said, it’s one of those songs you can have in the background whatever you are doing and it doesn’t get overbearing or annoying. And the groove just makes it all better. A truly underrated track.
Ronnie James Dio please, don’t talk to strangers live. I think you guys will love it
My top 14 are:
1- Something About Us (simply beautiful, intimate and atmospheric)
2- Short Circuit (just insane)
3- Aerodynamic (similar to Short Circuit, but with that brilliant guitar solo)
4- One More Time (that damn song that was always in my mind and when I discovered it, and it was by Daft Punk, it broke my head)
5- Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (Our Work is Never Over)😥
6- Too Long (a 10 min piece that is structured in such a way that it does not feel like a 10 min piece)
7- Digital Love (I love the guitar solo but the song is pretty cheesy haha)
8- Veridis Quo (That organ sounds so good and has a weird style that I love, it's totally alien to the album and I love that)
9- Superheroes (I love the sample and the building of the song and that space solo sounds so good)
10- Face To Face (the sample of this piece is insane, but I just can't seem to connect with this song the way I do with the previous ones)
11- Voyager (nice ambient song and that's it)
12- Hig Life (I don't connect with this song in the same way I did with Superheroes)
13- Crescendolls (same as Hig Life)
14- Nigthvision (I don't know what I can say about a "song" that I feel is mostly a transition between songs)
There are so many people here requesting more daft punk although they said in the video that they need a break after this 😂

I don’t know if u listen to albums now. I promise listening to this one will fall asleep. Listen to the album by orbital called insides!!!

1. Something About Us: Great ambiance, harmonies, intimacy feeling, subtle sound selection.
2. Voyager: Great background song, love its cadence, the pads and the way the bass is played.
3. Harder Better Faster Stronger: It's very creative, a banger!
4. Face to face: Cool use of sliced samples.
5. Digital Love: Love the uplifting and romantic harmonies and melodies, and the solo is dope.
6. One More Time: Uplifting at the very first listen.
7. High Life: Like the french house vibe.
8. Superheroes: The drum and the harmonies in the second part.
9. Veridis Quo: Love the mellow atmosphere and the melodies.
10. NightVision: Like the atmosphere but it needs more synth changes to make it less plain.
11. Aerodynamic: Like the Rhythm and the solo but it can be a little harsh on the ears.
12. Short Circuit: For me is a little bit harsh in the first part but it's nice in the second part.
13. Too Long: Kinda like this one but it's too long.
14. Crescendolls: Over the top cheesy

5. I just love the beat. It’s just so nice… and somehow, i just needed 3 listens to love it.
4. So, the first part is great, the riff part is bombastic and the synth end part is majestic
3. Fave since I heard it, like, it was the first song i heard where samples made it sound so good that i almost had an eargasm the first time i listened to it
2. I admit, i really didn’t like this one. But one day i just found myself enjoying this beat so much at the point that i noticed i listened to this more than the other songs. So now’s in there
1.Voyager was a song that i heard when i just looked up what voyage meant (well i am not a native english speaker, and i found that word on a game so… yeah) and i just looked at auto fill and said oh yeah, sure. It’s daft punk. And that was like when i was an ignorant about music, i liked the bassline, the synths, it was like the perfect song. I could use this song for everything i did, so yeah. It has been the only song that never changed positions on my ranking of discovery in years. (Although it is fighting for the first place with touch in my daft punk ranking)

My most fav song from the album is probably Aerodynamic, but I guess nobody else has it as their top hehe. I love them all though. I listen to Veridis Quo a lot, because it is so mysterious, but when I want hype, it is Harder Better Faster Stronger :) (That "never over" part always rocks xD)
U guys finally finish the album great, my top 3 Favorite songs on the album are, 3. Superheroes 2. One more time and my number one Digital Love, u guys should react to Star guitar by chemical brothers
Was it a kid's imagination the whole time, though? Those toys were based on something. Even his pajamas were based on their uniforms. It may have been the kid's interpretation of their story, but... Was it just his imagination?

It wasn't a little bit too long. It was 100% Too Long. It was too long on purpose and for a good reason. The slow, gradual shift of mood was necessary as the finale.

I think 'too long' is a great name for this, I felt that way after about 30 seconds. My thumbs down wasn't for you guys, Because you are definitely some of my favorite reactors, but I hate 'daft punk' sorry. I tried. I know thumbs up or down is still good for the channel.
Thats okay. Daft Punk is one of my fav bands/musicians, but i can see why people dont like them. Their music tend to be repetitive.
