The best banners in dokkan history is definitely one to review for sure, funny compilations could get tricky since I don’t own the clips but I could try to make it work
The biggest slap in the face for INT Goku Black is that during the same celebration, Dokkan also released EZA LR INT Rosé who could hit well over a million defense turn 1 while rocking over 15M super attacks and more accessible additionals. This had to be some private joke among the developers it can't have happened naturally.
Yup int dokkanfest holy black was a flop even as eza. I feel like LR rose goku black is better defensively after supering. With at least two supers he can handle normals from the new meta bosses.
@@MachineSpiritMelodies at Lr Rose's peak with 3 supers and defense support I've seen calcs that clock him at over 2 million defense so he's definitely tanking normals in his best situation. This "Peak" can be achieved turn 1 while simultaneously dropping 18+ mill 18ki supers into 12 mill additional supers. If he would have had any type of damage reduction he'd still be used in the hard fights today
2023 was peak not giving a shit, 8th year wasnt even safe because the PHY Spirit Bomb duo also sucked and they were a headlining unit, if the boss hit hard on turn 1 they got COOKED
That's true, shame it's when I started playing the gave cause it wasn't the best year. At least we got Future Gohan, who still has domain utility and can tank decently post-super, and INT 4ku, who even though he didn't age well for the anni was top 3 on release. Still holding on for my boy to make a comeback with other GT units, or perhaps fare better in the newer long-form content where he can shine.
to be fair they only dropped turn 1 hard hitter when red zone zamasu came out so the entire year they were still incredibly good, you just sat in base for omega and popped standby for STR phase just for an easy win
When SSJ3 Broly gets his super eza they have to give him like 15% damage reduction per orb and have him be a orb changer while keeping the -def per orb for lols
@@nachozacho1407 If this was his actual super eza he would straight up be god and be run on every team if his orb changing isn't restricted like if you get 7 orbs with him he would have 105% damage reduction which means every attack in the game is doing 0 damage in fact they would be in the negatives while SSJ3 Broly has 0 defense meaning 0-0=0 he would literally gap most of the game. He would never age.
The INT LR SSJ2 Gohan EZA was so funny during the time period of his release Everyone was saying "all you have to do is give him some defense and he's good" Then the devs really just gave him defense and everyone was mad Understandble, but I find it funny

It's because of the fact that the EZA made him WEAKER, while these EZAs are underwhelming they atleast are an improvement to their base counterpart but STR VB? They destroyed his kit by giving him more ki and his only way of stacking is through his normal SA.
While 2023 absolutely sucked it was also the year that revived my Dokkan account. Pulling absolutely nothing turned into pulling literally every character I tried to pull after the 8th anniversary (not pulling the 7th anni or 6th anni lrs absolutely sucked tho, I thought I was cursed😭)

9:58 I hope this unit is one of the first to get Super EZA's should LR's get it, because they really screwed up this unit, a unit that they UPDATED the 18 Ki but still sucks in today's standard and even on release of the EZA
I've also found that INT Rosé can be fairly effective in the SMB fights from me runnin Super Bosse. Since you're fightin Super Class enemies in there you can get more stacks with him before he transforms
Honorable Mention: AGL Broly (Wrathful), attack stat being locked behind receiving damage and defence being locked behind additionals that he doesnt even get without potential, making bro not only a glass cannon, but without the gunpowder, hopefully the SEZA will fix him
I love this video and would love to see more like it, though it felt a bit incomplete to not include SA effects in the kit details, as those are almost as important as the passive at times.
I agree but I was also not trying to make this like a 17 minute video 😭. When I do the best EZA’s video tho it will be highlighted much more bc that will actually matter. When talking about the worse the SA effects don’t really save them

Good video, think there a couple they could be added Str Janemba, while he was decent he wasn’t even much of an upgrade to int eza Janemba who was almost 2 years old Teq super buu, the non dfe one. Even though it was a sub eza, he was so trash. No attack up, only 130 defensive and a slight dodge chance. Banking on his heal mechanic but since he couldn’t do damage the heal would be nothing. Oh also the fact he came out in 2022, after redzone and almost time for cell max. Two normals from any hard fight and he was gone

Int Goku Black was really good back in the day for the LGE Event because of how OP Greatly stacking Defense was and how you just needed to hit above 100k Defense to be viable, his transformation condition wasn't terrible either, you'd mostly just float him off so you could use Agl Gohan + SSJ Nameku though
I remember being so hyped for PHY Vegito, that was my boy back in the day, loved him - then they take him out back and shoot him? I think the EZA designer for 2023 was honestly a crackbaby.
For int goku black. They could have done 25% dmg reduction with atk and def 180% with the other kits in his base and for transformed could have been a monster with a atk 300% and def 250% reduces dmg by 45%. Atk and def plus 20% per each hit (up to 120%). Launches an additional attack. Launches and guaranteed critical hits when there is a super enemy.
They just love to scam specific characters of their EZA's, and even if they're decent at best, not even a month later they increase the difficulty by like x10, thank you so much for giving us a worthless EZA. At least we're gonna be getting SEZA's, but that's literally another 2-3 years for alot of characters...
man 2023 was so bad and terrible. I'm glad that 2024 has really upped the standards of eza's and dfe releases from that time. Also we don't take Kami slander lightly at the Kami council. You have 15 minutes before the Kami council will maybe come to your home. I'd say you have a 6/10 chance of being lucky. good luck
I'd put AGL God Goku instead of Phy Magneto. Cheetos designed to tank normals, deal damage and he is very good at it. Him having scouter or 70% DR for anything would've made 2023 Beasthan. Combined with LR STR Vegito fusion(who btw can't tank RZ Buu normals even with 50% DR and post super if not rainbowed), he is good in Movie Boss Rush unlike others on the video that will die immeadtely die if chosen on the next meta shift after their release bosses.
That is the issue tho, without a scouter he is now just fodder. Any Red Zone Super Kills you and that is just that. His EZA was super underwhelming and only tanking normals is not a good EZA by an means.

Hell, with whis, double Beast or ghost usher(turn skip) and seal he can beat Cell Max 2. Situation where for example Int Black is not useless as usual is TEQ Glass Cannon Boss that will let you stack for 10 turns.
2023 was utterly awful with releases, some of the least fun I’ve had with the game ever. I loved running Teq Zamasu but his team got no help and instead of the obvious Rose LR they went with Future Gohan who did nothing but fall off completely in two months
INT EZA Black is one really weird EZA, yes he's horrible in Red Zones, but in Blue Zones? He took Gogeta Blue Zone lika a champ and few other stages there as well since they can be debuffed in their first phases and he can stack up 1 milion defense in 2 turns, 2023 was really the worst year for dokkan, so many straight up bad and outdated EZA's, so many questionable new units like C21 AGL and C17&C18 INT, like... I have idea what their purpose is besides some support? It's a shame especialy on C17&C18 because they are the best Universe Survival Saga leader but they can barely dish out barely 4 milion damage with their best partner and Goku on the same turn with no dupes, not to mention how nearly useless their active skill is besides having really good OST, and the fact that we got top grossing like on 5 times during entire 2023 is just sad, I remember when it was getting top grossing every month for solid two years, but at least now the game is on the right tracks, just hopefully they don't outpower crep themselves too fast again
2023 was the year of fumbling ezas, but I actually liked that year because there was my favourite creator that would release videos ranting and raging about dokkan devs and it was really entertaining 😂
2023 had my worst shaft too,Vegito is my favourite character so I was hyped for the Blues.. I used every Pilaf pack and 2300 stones just to get 0 copies and used stones on the other banners😢 600 on Zamasu and 450 for the pt 2 units and got 0 Main units:( I got a amazing W Anni on global at least tho 79% Gogeta,69 % Broly and Beast,1 LR Gammas and 1 Teq Ui😅 so im grateful
Maaaan I don't know, I really like Int Goku Fumble, he likes to do gazillion additionals each of which do raise his def slightly and by the end of boss battles his def is way better than my Lr Int Goku Black's 😭

Iirc when Gogeta and Vegito were first released, they didn’t really stay in top spot for too long as ESBR dropped soon afterwards, which they struggled in (their base form was pretty bad). I will say they were decent in Blue once fully built up (would point out that the 5th anniv didn’t have much content) Then we have AGL Bardock, STR Kefla, and PHY Beerus who were also pretty meh on release according to players. While SV and Buutenks were really good on release, WWC 2020 was mostly had very little content. And then we have the DBH celeb where Ssj4 Vegito also was underwhelming on release and also the “eza” of Ssj3 Broly. Overall wasn’t a good year for Dokkan compared to other years (tho I will say it was in a better spot than Legends was at the time with it’s Son Fam zenkai meta 💀)
My god i hated int goku black's eza. I never ever hated a unit with a decent animation so bad except him. Im a f2p player and there would be times i'd come back to the game from a real long break. Tried beating the last stage of "ultimate redzone: dismal future edition" with the super bosses category that was supposedly the strongest team i had besides the pure saiyans team i was rocking using phy godku. I swear to god almighty i wanted to throw my phone so many times cuz of eza int goku black. He cannot tank shit and its like hes even worse after he transforms. Took another break after a couple weeks came back and cleared all missions with the dismal future version since dokkan has been busting out some good units and my luck has been great on the banners. Though my luck is ass with this new broly banner we got :(
Dokkan world has made me laugh too much with the lower cased name units 1. str jiren 2. agl kid buu 3. Int black 4. eza phy "super" vegito 5. teq lss3 broly 6. kami 7. int ss2 tween gohan 8. int ultimate gohan
2020 was a bad year for Dokkan. Revenge, Rapid Growth, and All-Out Struggle were awful on release. Then we have the anniversary and WW which were infamous for not having suitble content despite the anniversary LRs being hype.
They were mid but not awful. A lot of side banner unit EZA’s are like that which is why I did not want to include them but the two included were just awful
Int goku black LR is peak post eza with full dodge you can just float him 3rd spot where’s he’s not gonna take many shots and he usually tanks well for me post super I think he’s underrated honestly.
I really disagree with phy super vegito on this list because he was also pretty good against fusion zamasu. While almost every character would get crushed by his aoe at the start, he would just tank that like it's nothing. Sure, he wasn't doing a lot of damage, and he would die to a super, but back then, tanking normals with 80% damage reduction was really good.
I can agree him tanking the AOE is nice, but he ain't living a single super Zamasu dishes out. Vegito just was very underwhelming. He can get hit by any super by a red zone boss and die.
@legendaryred24 the way I remembered it, almost the entire game was getting crushed by fusion zamasu super, especially if the super was in slot 1. I don't say he didn't have flaws, but imo not enough to make him one of the worst ezas in dokkan's history. And also I would have put phy transforming vegeta there who was really bad until turn 7 (if you were lucky and he started in slot 1 and didn't got crushed until you got to god form)

PHY Super Vegito has got to be one of the most overhated units in history, man. He does not deserve to be on a list like this. It's just the classic custom card effect where since all the custom EZA concepts people made were incredibly broken, they thought the unit would end up being that broken, no matter how unrealistic they were. Like, come on, you guys really thought they would turn a character who's whole identity was countering normals into a tank against supers? Or you thought they would just hand out a scouter, one of the rarest mechanics in the game? The funny thing is, he ended up being way more useful than half the units people thought were better than him, because 80% damage reduction against normals IS A REALLY GOOD ABILITY, and he was PHY in a phase of Dokkan where they wouldn't stop spamming INT bosses (to be fair, not like anyone could've predicted that). Yeah, his damage was horrible, no denying that, but his teams didn't struggle for damage at all, so it wasn't a problem.
Not really, I never fell for the hype up people had for him, but being able to tank normals is useless especially in the meta he was released in. At that point every unit is EXPECTED to tank normal attacks and the fact that was the only good thing about him is what it should tell you how bad this EZA was. What is even worse is they did not give him anything to compensate for it. No damage, no scouter, no dodge when a super is aimed at him, nothing. If a super is aimed at him it is over. One of the worst designs for a character in the game.

Not sure if you played back then, but INT Ultimate Gohan had a good EZA. He was very tanky, especially considering SBR was made with the intent that you USUALLY have an item up. He did good damage for his time, and in a meta where ki was scarce, his ki mechanic was very useful. Granted, I only used him in super int SBR (which came out ~6 months after he did), but he carried along with Int Gogeta and Vegito. I imagine he wouldn’t have been as good in the Hybrid Saiyans SBR, but I doubt you had an item up. He was good. And I was right! Datruth made a video of him when his EZA released and called him amazing. Good video but do better research for the INT Gohans lol. INT LR Gohan was also okay on release, not bad. He was merely underwhelming. BRO. YOU LITERALLY USED INT ULTHAN WRONG. He gets defense ON SUPER, along with the Ki and attack, and he still ate the super decently well (roughly 40% of the max HP at the time). He hit for 1.4m turn one on the truth video on a 130% attack lead. That was phenomenal for the time.

It's the worst in recent years, I don't think it's quite as bad as the first few years though. The game had straight up nothing except for the fact that it was Dragon Ball back then. Events were nearly impossible without specific characters, and most animations were basically the same garbage kamehameha

i don’t think PHY vegito was that bad actually, yeah he sucks for supers but I think a character who is impervious to damage is pretty useful especially when these bosses are usually supering slot 1 or 2 anyway
Most units are impervious to normals tho, that’s the issue. If they weren’t then sure but it just is not the case. If PHY Super Vegito had a scouter he would go from the one of the worst to one of the best in a heartbeat

I've also found that INT Rosé can be fairly effective in the SMB fights from me runnin Super Bosse. Since you're fightin Super Class enemies in there you can get more stacks with him before he transforms
For sure, he still is very meh though. He can be effective in certain situations but he gets cooked most of the time.
Honorable Mention: AGL Broly (Wrathful), attack stat being locked behind receiving damage and defence being locked behind additionals that he doesnt even get without potential, making bro not only a glass cannon, but without the gunpowder, hopefully the SEZA will fix him

Str Janemba, while he was decent he wasn’t even much of an upgrade to int eza Janemba who was almost 2 years old
Teq super buu, the non dfe one. Even though it was a sub eza, he was so trash. No attack up, only 130 defensive and a slight dodge chance. Banking on his heal mechanic but since he couldn’t do damage the heal would be nothing. Oh also the fact he came out in 2022, after redzone and almost time for cell max. Two normals from any hard fight and he was gone

Int Goku Black was really good back in the day for the LGE Event because of how OP Greatly stacking Defense was and how you just needed to hit above 100k Defense to be viable, his transformation condition wasn't terrible either, you'd mostly just float him off so you could use Agl Gohan + SSJ Nameku though

They could have done 25% dmg reduction with atk and def 180% with the other kits in his base and for transformed could have been a monster with a atk 300% and def 250% reduces dmg by 45%. Atk and def plus 20% per each hit (up to 120%). Launches an additional attack. Launches and guaranteed critical hits when there is a super enemy.

They just love to scam specific characters of their EZA's, and even if they're decent at best, not even a month later they increase the difficulty by like x10, thank you so much for giving us a worthless EZA. At least we're gonna be getting SEZA's, but that's literally another 2-3 years for alot of characters...

You have 15 minutes before the Kami council will maybe come to your home. I'd say you have a 6/10 chance of being lucky. good luck

I'd put AGL God Goku instead of Phy Magneto. Cheetos designed to tank normals, deal damage and he is very good at it. Him having scouter or 70% DR for anything would've made 2023 Beasthan. Combined with LR STR Vegito fusion(who btw can't tank RZ Buu normals even with 50% DR and post super if not rainbowed), he is good in Movie Boss Rush unlike others on the video that will die immeadtely die if chosen on the next meta shift after their release bosses.
That is the issue tho, without a scouter he is now just fodder. Any Red Zone Super Kills you and that is just that. His EZA was super underwhelming and only tanking normals is not a good EZA by an means.
@@legendaryred24 Yeah, he is not good but let's say he is ~situational~. He hypothetically can work against count super / sealable bosses. Hell, with whis, double Beast or ghost usher(turn skip) and seal he can beat Cell Max 2. Situation where for example Int Black is not useless as usual is TEQ Glass Cannon Boss that will let you stack for 10 turns.
2023 was utterly awful with releases, some of the least fun I’ve had with the game ever. I loved running Teq Zamasu but his team got no help and instead of the obvious Rose LR they went with Future Gohan who did nothing but fall off completely in two months

INT EZA Black is one really weird EZA, yes he's horrible in Red Zones, but in Blue Zones? He took Gogeta Blue Zone lika a champ and few other stages there as well since they can be debuffed in their first phases and he can stack up 1 milion defense in 2 turns, 2023 was really the worst year for dokkan, so many straight up bad and outdated EZA's, so many questionable new units like C21 AGL and C17&C18 INT, like... I have idea what their purpose is besides some support? It's a shame especialy on C17&C18 because they are the best Universe Survival Saga leader but they can barely dish out barely 4 milion damage with their best partner and Goku on the same turn with no dupes, not to mention how nearly useless their active skill is besides having really good OST, and the fact that we got top grossing like on 5 times during entire 2023 is just sad, I remember when it was getting top grossing every month for solid two years, but at least now the game is on the right tracks, just hopefully they don't outpower crep themselves too fast again

Iirc when Gogeta and Vegito were first released, they didn’t really stay in top spot for too long as ESBR dropped soon afterwards, which they struggled in (their base form was pretty bad). I will say they were decent in Blue once fully built up (would point out that the 5th anniv didn’t have much content)
Then we have AGL Bardock, STR Kefla, and PHY Beerus who were also pretty meh on release according to players.
While SV and Buutenks were really good on release, WWC 2020 was mostly had very little content.
And then we have the DBH celeb where Ssj4 Vegito also was underwhelming on release and also the “eza” of Ssj3 Broly.
Overall wasn’t a good year for Dokkan compared to other years (tho I will say it was in a better spot than Legends was at the time with it’s Son Fam zenkai meta 💀)
My god i hated int goku black's eza. I never ever hated a unit with a decent animation so bad except him.
Im a f2p player and there would be times i'd come back to the game from a real long break. Tried beating the last stage of "ultimate redzone: dismal future edition" with the super bosses category that was supposedly the strongest team i had besides the pure saiyans team i was rocking using phy godku.
I swear to god almighty i wanted to throw my phone so many times cuz of eza int goku black. He cannot tank shit and its like hes even worse after he transforms.
Took another break after a couple weeks came back and cleared all missions with the dismal future version since dokkan has been busting out some good units and my luck has been great on the banners.
Though my luck is ass with this new broly banner we got :(

2020 was a bad year for Dokkan. Revenge, Rapid Growth, and All-Out Struggle were awful on release. Then we have the anniversary and WW which were infamous for not having suitble content despite the anniversary LRs being hype.

I really disagree with phy super vegito on this list because he was also pretty good against fusion zamasu. While almost every character would get crushed by his aoe at the start, he would just tank that like it's nothing. Sure, he wasn't doing a lot of damage, and he would die to a super, but back then, tanking normals with 80% damage reduction was really good.
I can agree him tanking the AOE is nice, but he ain't living a single super Zamasu dishes out. Vegito just was very underwhelming. He can get hit by any super by a red zone boss and die.
@legendaryred24 the way I remembered it, almost the entire game was getting crushed by fusion zamasu super, especially if the super was in slot 1. I don't say he didn't have flaws, but imo not enough to make him one of the worst ezas in dokkan's history. And also I would have put phy transforming vegeta there who was really bad until turn 7 (if you were lucky and he started in slot 1 and didn't got crushed until you got to god form)

Looking at the EZA overall it just is very underwhelming. Its only use is the Zamasu fight in which he still can easily get crushed in

PHY Super Vegito has got to be one of the most overhated units in history, man. He does not deserve to be on a list like this. It's just the classic custom card effect where since all the custom EZA concepts people made were incredibly broken, they thought the unit would end up being that broken, no matter how unrealistic they were. Like, come on, you guys really thought they would turn a character who's whole identity was countering normals into a tank against supers? Or you thought they would just hand out a scouter, one of the rarest mechanics in the game?
The funny thing is, he ended up being way more useful than half the units people thought were better than him, because 80% damage reduction against normals IS A REALLY GOOD ABILITY, and he was PHY in a phase of Dokkan where they wouldn't stop spamming INT bosses (to be fair, not like anyone could've predicted that). Yeah, his damage was horrible, no denying that, but his teams didn't struggle for damage at all, so it wasn't a problem.
Not really, I never fell for the hype up people had for him, but being able to tank normals is useless especially in the meta he was released in. At that point every unit is EXPECTED to tank normal attacks and the fact that was the only good thing about him is what it should tell you how bad this EZA was. What is even worse is they did not give him anything to compensate for it. No damage, no scouter, no dodge when a super is aimed at him, nothing. If a super is aimed at him it is over. One of the worst designs for a character in the game.

Not sure if you played back then, but INT Ultimate Gohan had a good EZA. He was very tanky, especially considering SBR was made with the intent that you USUALLY have an item up. He did good damage for his time, and in a meta where ki was scarce, his ki mechanic was very useful. Granted, I only used him in super int SBR (which came out ~6 months after he did), but he carried along with Int Gogeta and Vegito.
I imagine he wouldn’t have been as good in the Hybrid Saiyans SBR, but I doubt you had an item up. He was good.

It's the worst in recent years, I don't think it's quite as bad as the first few years though. The game had straight up nothing except for the fact that it was Dragon Ball back then. Events were nearly impossible without specific characters, and most animations were basically the same garbage kamehameha

Most units are impervious to normals tho, that’s the issue. If they weren’t then sure but it just is not the case. If PHY Super Vegito had a scouter he would go from the one of the worst to one of the best in a heartbeat
