Hello everybody!! In today's video my Girlfriend and I decided to react to the cinematic trailers for Star Wars the old republic. We didn't react to all the cinematic trailers in this video but if we can get enough likes on this video we will make a part 2! So hit the like button and subscribe if you're new!
The guy in the last trailer is Darth Vitiate and you’re right he was trying to overthrow the Jedi and sith and build his own empire and he did purposely neglect his own sons until one died and Vitiate lived for hundreds of years and was extremely powerful to the point where he could create clones of himself that shared the equal strength in power and I would say he was more powerful than Sidious
A bit of context and lore
The Jedi master in the first one was a Zabrak, there are 2 types, Iridonian's like him and Dathomirian's like Darth Maul. That master was also the best lightsaber duelist in the order at the time of his death holding the title of battle master. He was one of the only people (of a 2 handed species) to be able to wield both a double and single blade at the same time, adapting his techniques on the fly.
On the second clip you said the jedi were built differently, you would be right only 300 years before the order had been destroyed down to 1 exiled jedi who went onto train 6 apprentices(KOTOR 2), and a small handful of survivors from the previous version of the order. those jedi were trained to fight sith as they knew they still existed. also the technique she used to stop the lightsaber was a very advanced energy manipulation technique. the same one yoda used to redirect lightening.
after she crushed him into the cliff, he was rescued, he still went on to kill 2 jedi, forcing his shuttle to land in order to fight them before going to receive medical attention, though his jaw as permanently damaged requiring the breathing mask

Just a little bit of correction. Kao Cen Darach was not the Jedi Order's best lightsaber duelist. That honor belongs to Ven Zallow, the Jedi Master in the 3rd clip.
The essence of these trailers is not only to show the background of the MMORPG, but also to show the various classes with their "typical" equipment and ability animations. A smuggler in a cowboy hat, a trooper with a big gun, a Sith Inquisitor with a staff and lightning bolts, a massive Sith juggernaut, a bounty hunter with a flamethrower and a jetpack, etc.

First three cinematics was Darth Malgus the Great from young age to mature ofc he cant be stoped 😀 one of the greatest Sith
The jedi with the double bladed lightsaber and soldier boy do wind up being a thing at some point. At least long enough to have a kid together.

@@NinjaBwa When you did the I sacrifice myself for you woman bit, found it kinda ironic as when he detonated the grenade he was holding, she used the force to protect him, much like the sith protected himself as if she hadn't he would be dead
@@Ultor_0 She didn't use the Force to shield him. It was an ion grenade (you can tell because the explosion is blue), and those are meant for use against Sith battle droids (it overloads their power cores and they explode). They do some damage against organics, but it's severe burns like what Jace got at worst, rather than losing an arm or half his body.
Darth Malgus is the greatest Sith they have ever produced. He was so deep in the force he killed the only thing he cared for his wife because it was holding him back from the force.
The pain and self hatred made him stronger than ever.
In life, she was his greatest weakness. In death, she became his greatest strength.

Here are some facts about this cinematics:
1. The jedi who died in the first clip was, at that point in time, the grandmaster of the order of the jedi, and the battlemaster, meaning he had knowledge of all 7 jedi lightsaber styles of combat.
2. The girl you see in the first 2 clips is called Satele Shan, she is the heir of Bastila Shan, wife of Revan.
3. Darth Malgus (the white-boy sith who never dies), it is said that he had the strongest connection to the dark powers of the force of all the siths up to his era.
4. The father of the guys in the last clip is called Valkorion, he was possessed many years ago by The Emperor (Darth Vitiate), in order to make a new empire and overthrow both sith and jedi.

Little bits of information for ur girl friend , Satele Shan is the female Jedi in first two trailers , her grandparents or Great grandparents were Jedi Knight Bastila and Jedi turned sith, turned Jedi again Darth/Jedi Revan a war hero who defeated the mandolorians. Darth Malgus is the main bad guy in trailers and the Jedi he killed in the end was Jedi Master Zallow , his death caused another Jedi to later abandon the order and seek revenge on a self destructive path that almost turned her into a sith herself , I strongly recommend “ The Old Republic “ audiobooks ( Fatal alliances , Deceived , Revan, annihilation) also to under stand Darth Revan and Darth Malak his apprentice u should play KOTOR ( Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic ) video game RPG , the twins in the final trailer u watched were Arcann and Thexan , their father was The eternal emperor Valkorion ( Darth Vitiate) a Sith Lord human who lived for over 1500 years and forced all 3 of his children into warfare as weapons forcing one of the twins to kill each other for power and also turning his daughter to a sith as well and their mother had been a military commander under the emperor
First channel I've come across where the reactors actually get it. You guys are smart. Most UA-camrs have no idea what's going on when they see these trailers and fail to see the story and what it's trying to tell you. You guys nailed it. Good job. Excellent reaction.

In the temple the Jedi malgus is fighting is the Jedi battle master. Supposed to be the best fighter in the order. The zabrak Jedi we saw in the first trailer, was the previous one
Rule of two remember. The apprentice becomes the master after the master dies or wounded severely, then killed by apprentice

The "father" was the most powerful Sith to ever exist besides Sidius. I believe under the sith only 1 apprentice can exist at one time, the inevitable death of one of the boys had to happen.
Yeah the rule of two but I wonder were the brothers actually successful in killing all the other Sith and Jedi. If so how did they obtain the power necessary to take on two orders that I’ve been at war with each other for centuries.
@@NinjaBwa It seems like they were fighting for a kingdom and for whatever father wanted regardless of sith or jedi, good or bad. Not only did they inherit his extreme power but they were also given an army and trained from birth so maybe thats how they did it.

You both like Star Wars ?--I may have something for you. It is called Star Wars, the entire Legends timeline. There are a lot of spoilers in it, so I would suggest to watch it after the 6 movies. It lasts 21 minutes, and it starts 13 billion years before the phantom menace. You have a calendar in the right bottom corner. BBY=Before Battle of Yavin, ABY=After Battle of Yavin. & Battle of Yavin=when Luke destroys the death star in episode 4. I don't request a reaction, it's only for you to understand how things started long ago. You'll have all important events, Ancient Sith lords. It could help you understand some things not well explained in the movies. Thanks for your reactions, I'll be sure to watch more of your channel. There are 2 similar videos on You-Tube: the legends timeline & canon timeline. Watch Legends, it's shorter and fairly complete.

Come on let’s be real the only reason why people watch reactions in the first place is for the commentary. If you’ve already seen the video then you already know what the narrator says. What we was excited for was the awesome fights in these videos. Look up old republic cinematic trailers if you want to hear what the narrator is saying in the full video without us talking. (And I really mean that in a nice way. Im trying not to be rude or disrespectful to you)
@@NinjaBwa Yes, but the reaction is supposed to be to the narration as well. This makes it clear that you're not paying attention to it.
PS. I bought the game pre-launch. And played it through in the first week. And checked back in for expansions. I do most certainly not come to reactions to watch the original videos. But I do like it/prefer when reactors take in the full experience.
