Kings Island Camp Cedar

They finally opened! Camp Cedar was to originally open back in the Spring, but due to delays it just opened 2-3 weeks ago. We stayed in Cottage #530 which was the Hickory Cottages. We stayed only one night and did not go to Kings Island. There is a Shuttle Bus that does take you from outside Camp Cedar's Lobby to Kings Island. I believe it drops you off under Kings Island main sign in the parking lot. It is a straight shot to the parks entrance but it is a little bit of a walk. I wish they would drop you off right at the entrance, but that is just me.
We hung out at the pool, then went back to the cottage and fired up the propane fire pit and cooked smores. We all had a good nights sleep. We did go to the pool for about 2 hours after we checked out but we could have stayed at the pool for the rest of the day. All in all, we had a really nice visit there!
