Justin Fields on his approach heading into the 2024 NFL season:
“I’m taking it day-by day. I’m definitely competing, Russ knows that; we’re competing against each other every day. Him being out there makes me get better. I definitely don’t have the mindset of me just sitting all year, so I’m coming in here, giving it all I got, pushing him to be his best, and him pushing me to be my best this year.”

I bet we keep him
KEEP - why move a key depth piece for a measly 5th round pick or lower? Keep Moore for depth in case of injury and to use as a swing tackle, jumbo packages, etc.
T
Steelers don't really have to trade Dan even if he only plays LT since both Broderick and Troy are practicing on both sides just have Dan be the backup at LT and if either Broderick or Troy misses a game or 2 just insert Dan at LT and the other at RT.
Fields is the future but Russ is the guy right now.
If you define “right now” as 2024-2027 then yeah. Justin is the future.
Ohio state fan?
If fields doesn’t play this year he won’t be a steeler going forward
I doubt they pick up fields 5th year when they didn’t even pick up najee’s
You damn right!!!
Russ has reverted back to his old throwing motion. High release and velocity.
👋 from Mexico, great show, I really enjoy it, I’m 54 years old, all of them chearing and loving the Pittsburgh Steelers, regards
Russ will be better than ever! His career depends on it! He has a deep ball throw! 💪
His LEGACY depends on it. Denver let Russ go because Russ refused to defer his injury guarantee for a year. Had he done that, Denver would’ve kept him for another year. Russ refused because he knew they’d release him, which was what he wanted.
Fields is in Pittsburgh because his old squad no longer believed he could be a franchise QB.
I love Fields’s competitive fire. Good for him. It’ll make both QBs better. Iron sharpens iron! Having said that, let me explain something to everyone: Fields may not have the mindset of sitting behind Russ, but he doesn’t have the skills needed to beat out Russ either.
Frankly, I doubt any QB would beat out Russ right now with the situation he’s in. I think Pittsburgh will get the best version of Russ we have he et seen.
Russ is way too skilled, way too talented, and way too motivated to leave anything in the coaches’ hands. He will make the decision FOR them. There isn’t a QB in the league who could beat out Russ under these circumstances. His legacy is on the line after he just lived that horror of being in Denver.
Russ has a legendary work ethic. Fields is a fantastic athlete, but he’s not ready for the smoke Russ will bring. He has a slight advantage in athleticism. Remember, Russ rushed for 350 yards of his own last season on mostly non-designed runs while playing for a coach who was trying to tank. Russ hasn’t lost nearly as much as people may think.
That slight athletic advantage Fields holds isn’t nearly enough to compensate for the huge advantages Russ holds in arm talent (i.e., angles, accuracy, touch, deep-ball proficiency), durability, leadership, experience, and drive, and he has succeeded in a similar offense before. Russ proved for years that he can thrive on a system like Arthur Smith’s.
Fields hasn’t proven anything besides the fact that he can run and hit the occasional wide-open shot. It’s not enough. Russ is almost always at his BEST when any QB poses a threat. That’s why he has always played his best games against the best QBs, even last year in Denver. It’s his mental makeup.
Fields can have all the ideas he wants, but he only wanted to go to Pittsburgh when he thought his competition would be Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph. The trade to Pittsburgh only became attractive to the Bears’ front office after Russ signed there.
Think about that for one minute! What fool thinks the Bears sent Fields to Pittsburgh to “do right by him?” They sent him there to sit the bench! The Bears front office KNEW he’d never beat out Russ! They couldn’t risk him on the field opening the season playing well on a fluke while Caleb struggles.
@@DeCurtaRican I agree with everything you said, as a Russ supporter and a guy who believes Fields has a chance to be good, I wish Fields went somewhere else but I understand why the Steelers did it. I hope Russ can get his HOF career back on track, and I'm glad you aware of what actually happened vs this stupid takes Seattle and Denver let him go. Seattle he had a no trade clause and pushed his way out and Denver was exactly like you said.

And if he really believed that he wouldn’t have to announce it.
Fields clearly has a stronger arm than Russ

If Dan Moore doesn't want to play RT, then we need to move on from him. I regret us moving on from Dotson, but I wouldn't Moore.

Dan more is a starting left tackle on atleast 10 teams lol you literally can’t trade for those. We could get a 3rd for him

Steelers 2024 Trade Candidates - 6 Steelers Players That Could Be Traded This Year Ft. Najee Harris - ua-cam.com/video/HDIfW4H3O48/v-deo.html
I hope we keep najee, hes a dawg. I think depending on how he plays this year, he will get a contract or go into free agency
I honestly think that getting rid of Najee destroys the offense. Jaylen is absolutely amazing but he isn’t built to be a bellcow back
Love your videos, bro. I watch every one. Keep it up 🔥🔥🔥
Will this be Najee's last year in PIT? Yes or No?
Hope not
No way!!!
No, the Steelers will resign not only Harris but Heyward as well 2 cap friendly deals before the season so they can have enough in next years cap to resign either Wilson or Fields.
No
Nope
Yes, Fields is the Steeler future, star future. Love Russ, but his time is numbered 🏈

Start Dan until the deadline. If he does good could package a trade for Wr. Or let Troy develop throughout the year.
The difference between Dan and Dotson in my opinion is that Dotson showed he could play in the NFL.
Experience is important
On august 9th presses session
Jack, you need to start thinking about QB Justin Fields as a gadget player, new “slash.” If Pittsburgh believes in playing the best 11 players on both side of the ball, Fields will likely line up as WR, RB, QB, on punts, etc. You’re correct in your assessment about Fields not being the starting QB, however he could be on the field in other roles.
I think that Dan Moore Jr will be traded this off season
The Boss makes the call
I honestly think we should've went somewhere else with our #1 pick, Jones is comfortable at RT and Moore keeps getting better and is stable at LT, we tried to fix something that's not broken
Refreshing having a QB with a great arm after noodle arm Kenny and old arm Ben 👊
Glad they have a proven vet at QB. Also like Justin’s outlook on things. Not conceding the job to the vet.
Love frie but still going to need a player on wr side so let’s wait till June 1 cuts
#KeepNajee
Pat is one of the guys I think the Pittsburgh Steelers should resign right now. I’m not worried about the Steelers not having a true WR3 because of the talent and how pure of a pass catcher Pat is. Now with the Steelers having a proper OC, new QBs, and being pushed into more of a pass catcher role, here’s hoping Pat will finally be put into a Kittle/Hockenson role in Pittsburgh as one of the main pass catching options for either Fields/Wilson in the long term
Wilson’s name comes first, my guy.
@@DeCurtaRican yes and he’ll work the outside while Pat works the inside/middle of the field
i just hope we give fields a good chance before sending him off, he has too much upside to not give him a chance at some chance
Russ is the guy and other 5 more years 3 Super Bowls let’s go
Yeah
Told you they love Donte Jackson & they're not going to rely on a 2nd year player with a highly concerning injury problems nor, a second year player on his third team despite being a mid round pick, or a 7th round rookie to play outside.
Still a lot of intriguing $'s out there, I'd consider signing one of them & making the 3 safety set their default against 11 personnel.
why? depth is important
Jack you should advertise more and post more of your own comments. You probably have no idea that drives your revenue
U crazy as hell for that one Pitts isn't a bad TE he's pretty good
Yeah. What does “not productive” mean any ways?😁
No
Or because he gets sacked a ton, and fumbles the ball an insane number of times
y
This is not Najee’s last year
K
T
T, he’s showed his not that guy!
Noooooooo please noooooooo
theres no reason for Russ to start over Fields in an ARTHUR SMITH offense
The only thing that makes since is to trade Dan Moore to the Rams for Kupp 😊
t
N
K he is under contract. People hate on Dan nonstop but all he's done produce as an NFL stater since being drafted
Keep Dan Moore Jr unless someone gets desperate and offers a 4th or better
We cant lose najee.
Idc what dan moore wants steelers need to stop giving into these babies.
Yes, this is Najee's last year in Pittsburgh. It doesn't matter what he does. He won't be a Steeler next season. If he underperforms, they will let him walk! If he overperforms, he will demand a higher contract, and they will let him walk!
Dan Moore needs to be traded doesn't block
