New Orleans is my favorite city ever. I wish I could go back and live there again, hopefully someday. Like every big city, it has issues, but the people, the places, the FOOD, and the goodwill always draws me home. Just remember, if you're a good 'un the city will be good to you. If you go there with bad intentions, you get what you give. 😉❤❤
@@stephanievasquez4244- When you come to New Orleans, try the food at Dooky Chase,Barrow Catfish and Willie Mae's Scotch House Nola.😋 They have the best gumbo, catfish and fried chicken in New Orleans.😊🙏💘 Oh yeah, don't forget to try Cafe Du Monde. The best beignet donuts ever.😂 🎉
All tourist spots. If you know people from NOLA you will be on a whole different level most local spots have people that have been cooking there for years. But you definitely have to be with people that is familiar with the area. Real Talk
@@Floridamanzt Try a snowball from any snowballs stand in New Orleans. They are definitely different from any other one I’ve had since I left New Orleans
We have a lot of grocery stores where you can get huge platters of fish with greens and baked macaroni for half of that. Lot of great food places here. The hole in the wall restaurants can shame most upscale restaurants in many cities around the world. If you like Creole ( think Soul Food) and Cajun food, Louisiana has the best on earth.
If you're ever Uptown in New Orleans, try Sarita's. You will not regret it. Best Empanada you will ever taste. Home made hot sauce and salsa Everything on the menu is amazing
I lived in Louisiana my whole life and I remember the first time I went on vacation I hated the food it wasn’t seasoned like Louisiana. The food is great here theres so many sights and gators are fun to people think there dangerous but only if u give them reason. Also if deciding to come u gotta try Louisiana style crawfish boil
You will have a much better experience with the locals. Quarters prices are ridiculous! Besides locals don't even visit those places. We catch our on and we got the hook up😉
WOW! Everything looks GOOD!...even the 7/10. I can't wait to go. I wish NYC had food like that. I would have been a chef instead of an architect. 😅 (Cool video...I'm subbing, + Brooklyn sweatshirt FTW!)
Downtown food is always going to be very expensive and overrated but the St Claude neighborhood and the hood hoods have the low price good quality authentic New Orleans food

It's just ironic that my mind was racing about an ongoing issue that seems to have no solution. I was trying to distract myself and saw your comment. Anyway, I was just curious to know why you posted it and thank you for it.
Wow!!! Looks like you ate good and enjoyed yourself! 😃 The way my Shellfish Allergy is set up though, won't allow me to last long. The smell and being in the same vicinity of the seafood being cooked will set my Shellfish Allergy off instantly! 🦪🍤😑🤦🏽♀️
Next time try Toups Meatery! The Turkey Necks and Shrimp and Grits were legendary! Cafe Du Monde, was not as good as everyone claims, it was good, but not 10/10.
We have some decent museums and wildlife tours, and quite a bit more. Just dont go waltzing around any neighboorhood this city can be the meme version of Ohio sometimes.
$27 for one piece of catfish is criminal
That's a $10 piece of catfish in some spots $8.
Shit for 7 bucks i can get 3 big pieces anywhere to cook 😂
It's criminally insane to say the least never ever will I pay $27.00 for one piece of catfish
Most Restaurants are still riding the Covid wave and ripping people off. With smaller portions, cheaper ingredients
Well it's a tourist trap locals would never spend $27 in that when we could make it just as good at home
Morrows food is insanely delicious. Their Chard Oyster’s arguably is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
Are morrow oyster better than dragos oysters ?

Morning Call Cafe 10/10 in my book.
You won’t eat a bad meal in New Orleans(Noo Whalens) there’s just good and great no in between
It's New OR-leans
It's pronounced New-OR-LINZ
Biggest lie in history. If you eat at tourist spots owned by the same people who own the shirt stores, you’re looking for microwaved food.
NAW-LINS
Deenies, the best seafood platter in town
