Imo theres 3 things to consider - Roles that classes fall into; trash clearing and large killing and ofc many can flex and do both well. Typically you want a good mix of specialisations as large zed HP increases as the teamsize grows so trash classes start to struggle more against large zeds. - Team synergy, this normally boils down to precision vs chaos - headshots vs body damage because head HP is separate from body hp (damage done to the head is dealt to the body but not the other way around) so if a gunslinger leaves a FP on 1 head HP adn then a firebug starts shooting a flame thrower at it (DoTs only do body damage) then its like the GS only did like 30% damage and now the FB is making it very hard for the GS to finish the job. So if you join a game and see a commando sharpshooter gunslinger, then firebugs a horrible pick for another trash clearer but SWAT or support would fit in just fine. - Utility or team work, the best 3 by far are medic whos buffs are a win condition on its own, sharpshooter+commando for the zed time engine they create (sharp proc's zed time more and commando extends it) this rivals medic in a lot of ways, so if the teams lacking those classes you cant really go wrong picking them with the exeption of picking sharpshooter into a demo/firebug lobby. Also a note for the ending, as people die the max monsters on the map reduces to the player count and newly spawned zeds will have that number of players hp. As a last man if you survive the initial outbreak then its just solo with a worse syringe and a more zeds in the wave. This is why its so easy as the last man when you are medic, survivalist and zerk, you can just win through attrition thanks to your speed and healing its as easy as playing solo. Play a server without the downscaling and like 99% of medics will die on their own as they cant kill FP's fast enough they need a 2nd player to survive which encourages team work. edit: punctuation
@@drunkbunny94 Ooh, I should have called Teamwork “Utility.” As for the other things, I loosely called attention to the roles classes fill with the “Damage Type” on the graph. I meant to go a little deeper on it, but the video was already super long. When it comes to team synergy, I wanted to list off some team recommendations, but again, the video was already super long and I made the video with solo play in mind. While the name implies otherwise, most of the “Teamwork” category is just utility and transfers over to solo play in its value. I’m also not a fan of metas and think any team comp can work with the right people. If I had to concoct a team, my ideal would be FM, at least 1 AoE with FB/Demo, a tank so Berserker/SWAT, a precision with GS/SS, a Supp for econ and doors, and a Commando for the Zed Time and supporting the trash clear. Survi will Survi and try their best to fill in a gap. Most likely tank or AoE since the other roles rely on their perks more. Not in that order of course, but it gives every person a vital job on the team with minimal overlap. The damage crossing isn’t min-maxed, but you have the tank and AoE dealing with the trash and stragglers, precision handling the big boys, and then Commando, Supp, and FM doing their things and helping where needed. It’s not rock solid, but having every person have their one thing they do gives a more enjoyable experience in my mind. I don’t want to compete with Demo for kill count or with SS with large zeds, I wanna do my one thing better than everyone else. Apologies if any of the text reads like hostility, I actually love these conversations and walking through all the thinking behind the video as well as alternative avenues I could have pursued.
@@ExplosiveT-5 It doesn't come off hostile at all i love technical talk! i've tried doing guides in the past and keeping this breif is really hard so i understand some things get cut. Its also interesting seeing what other people value, like i think of durability, evasion and possibly even longevity as just "survivability" and/or possibly "ease of use". Like your ability to survive either from tankyness or speed is useful but the main reason those stats are so strong is because the game mode is literally "survival" and not dying is the easiest way to (eventually) win that because not only is it easier to play but the game conductor is designed to ease off the gas when they see people taking excessive damage, dying, killing zeds too slowly. Sure medic/zerk can tank like 10 hits from a FP and kill it after kiting it for 2min, but a good player on gunslinger/sharp is going to kill it without being touched, obviously players with that ability are going to rank classes differently to those that cannot so skill plays a big role in what they find important in their perks. You can absolutely do chaos+precision team comps, they work great on some maps where theres a big main lane where you can stack up like 4-5 people spamming where you have a critical mass of DPS and then 1-2 precision players hold the otherside. Think Outpost where the ramp has a fb/zerk/demo/medic while the alley on the right with flat ground has a commando+sharpshooter, same with catacombs and the stairwell with the bridge, but any map with 2 lanes can work like this. But in practice all it takes is 1 of the chaos players getting bored and going over to the precision lane to get some action and they throw the lane. Ofc some perks bridge the chaos/precision divide like medic who's mostly for buffing/healing and some trash control, survivalist who can build precision loadouts like freezethrower/frostfang/railgun and support who has enough DPS that they can contribute to body shotting if they have too.
I agree with the statement of "Play the way you want to play" As this game is so diverse it supplies thousands of playstyles. WHILE THERE IS meta setups, there is joy to be had in finding other ways off killing of zeds. Edit: Love the comedy vids. Amazing work sir!
Thank you so much! And I'm glad you agree. I'm not being pandery when I say you can do whatever. Horde Shooters are about finding the most enjoyable way to end the opposition as opposed to the most effective way. I may get a little worried or irritated when I see more than one SS in my lobby of 6, but all the classes are viable and if they're having fun then it doesn't matter! Also, I hate metas and think they shouldn't exist. I like playing things that feel correct in my hands, so when that thing is one of the worst, niche, or most ignored things I feel like I have to try twice as hard to beat meta builds, or if the thing I gravitate towards just so happens to be meta I feel ashamed and like I shouldn't be benefiting from what should be treated as a balance issue. ...Though I will definitely be consulting this graph on my mission to 100% the game...
The hardest part is not having friends who play this game or want to play this game and trying to get randoms to synchronize and form an actual cohesive team. Usually, I just end up picking either demo or field medic cause if I'm going to be soloing a wave I want that sweet AOE and also to be able to actually survive in sticky situations.
Love your vids bro. While grinding achievements on kf2 got medic to max prestige and I can't agree more. Hope to see you on the zed front my fellow ketamaniac
I like how all classes (except medic) are all similar in their totals. It shows how good all classes are balanced. In my personal opinion, the medic being the best is the best way to have it. Its power is not selfish. Instead, it shares its power with the team. A plus in my book is the flexibility of its arsenal. You can play any other roll with it.
I'm glad you agree! I also believe that Medic being the best incentivizes people to play them when most would just go "ew, healers are weak" and then play Demo. It creates enough of a pull towards the class to have it appear in most full lobbies (Almost Essential Past Hard) but just enough to prevent it from being selected by multiple people at once.
As Field medic main I saw a mile away, and I wonder if tripwire will accidentally make medic the best class in kf3 again. This is a great video man, I didn't know that the hrg freeze thrower had an alt fire.
I hope so too! Having FM not only be useful but also be the BEST gives players an incentive to play the healer which is usually a job feared by FPS players. I don't think a single person is complaining about the strength of the healer and I hope TripWire realizes that. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I taught you something! While they are flawed, my other KF2 videos go into details about the weapons and perks as they were 2 years ago. The quality is a fair bit different given the time between now and then and there are some things I get wrong or overlook, but for the most part it's a general overview of the features and calling out some lesser know traits like being able to reduce OR INCREASE your fall damage with the alt fire on the boom and doomsticks.
@@ExplosiveT-5 I mean, it is somewhat dependant on individual playstyle so some disagreements is expected. Edit. I highly agree on Medic being the best (firebug doesn't need to be best, it's fun). The only way I as a medic am not the last one standing is if I tank hit for my team with my face and even then I have a fair chance to be the last one alive.
24:42 I feel this so much. I feel your anger with your teammates. This is like big brother and lil brother energy. This is coming from a sharpshooter main
What really rustled my jimmies in this clip was that I am a melee enthusiast and seeing a Berserker run away from a healing grenade on top of enemies gave me physical pain. I would *kill* (in Minecraft) for that opportunity.
@ExplosiveT-5 I want to give you a hug. I'll subscribe and hug you to make the pain go away. I mean, I felt your frustration when he was running away. I laughed so hard when he ran from the grenade due to a siren. Im like "this man is fumbling." I subbed btw
@ExplosiveT-5 I see well it's justified now. I know my ex use to be scared of the flesh pounds and scrakes. I would use the compound bow to freeze them down. Fun fact, I use to freeze the lower zeds to wall off a lane for a moment to escape...until a flesh pound bulldozer their way through them.
@@omegalegion1769 Clever, tragic, and amusing. There was a clip that didn't make it in the video of an FP triggering Zed Time and by extension saving my life.
Id argue berserker should get at least a 2 in teamwork for their ability to bankroll the fuck out of the other players once they have all the weapons they need, honestly. Other than that really good video and I'm glad you're back to this game!
Ooh. That's actually a really good point. I think I was gonna mention it but immediately forgot. The video's out so I won't put the effort into seeing how it would change anything, but Bersereker is very nice to have in those mid to late waves when they already have their loadout but everyone else is buying individual bullets.
Pretty good quality overall but, is it just me or the video feels a bit confused? maybe going by each class with their logo on the screen would make it better, besides that, glad to see KF2 content.
I originally planned to have the graph pop up every time I mentioned a ranking but that proved to be a monumental task so I just set up some animations I would only need to tweak a little to get them on screen and look nice. There were very few times I was playing a class that I wasn't actively talking about, so if you know the weapon types or look at my health bar you can reorient yourself. Oh, and I was originally going to have it be one class at a time, but doing it this way made the video flow better and kept the winner a surprise for the ending! I'll keep this feedback in mind.
First off great and informative Video. Second as a medic main in every FPS i play KF2 is my 2nd fav just behind TF2 and it is mainly because of how strong and useful i feel here is hoping KF3 gives us a just as powerful and engaging Medical class to play
i remember when the medic rocket launcher was launched and made medic the best class in the game for solo cause u were basically imortal and 2 shot flashpounds while aoe healing, but then they nerfed it LUL
Nice video, one small nitpick, is that in both teamwork and range survivalist could go for a 4 since a good survivalist is only second to a buff medic to healing teamates with just 2 perks that most people take by default (increased syringe heal, more ammo and medic grenade), and range he can just take the amr or a dmr and not have to aim for the head to go for the most damage on the contrary to sharpshooter. Also durability is a 5 since, well, swat hyper armor, all damage reductions, and medic grenade+ improved syringe
This is why they're disqualified. Just because you *can* select these options and boost their stats doesn't mean you will. It's a judgement on the class as a whole and not what they have the *potential* to do. That's why SWAT didn't get any Teamwork or Durability for their DLC weapons and all the classes didn't get points for having a healing weapon or two they can use. Also, I didn't mention it but I kinda meant to; in this list 5 means it's the best, or as my notes say, "Unrivaled." When I realized Survi had SWAT's armor passive, I wanted to increase their Durability but then I saw they were already at 4. While it's impressive what they can survive, FM having the improvements to the syringe, medi-nade, resistance, and so on, just can't be beat. For context, the number meant: 1=Nothing 2=Something 3=Note-Worthy 4=Proficient 5=Unrivaled
Yah... They said they're listening to fans, so maybe they'll keep things Killing Floor. If it does become a Hero Shooter, having the diversity of the old perk system or even a full on perk tree (I'm hoping for the second) can make the decision tolerable. Though I do believe having the classes and characters also disconnected is just good from a cosmetic side of things and better for the players in general. I'm a f^$%ing D.A.R. player. IDK if they are even gonna add them to the game, but if they do, do you really expect me to only play the Survivalist? Gahd, I hope they put perks in the game...
It is a really useful class to have around. Especially if you are coordinated and holding hallways, having a Demo on one and an FB on the other makes the waves a cake-walk.
I had KF2 lowered because I like watching things while I play it and I was shocked when the Grenade Pistol went nuclear because it's like 7 explosions simultaneously and sound waves stack. "Huh, everything sounds a little quiet- AH! OH GAHD MY EARS! Yah, I think I'll keep it low for a sec."
@@slotmaster3092 Its range, damage, and AoE is just too powerful to ignore! The other Perks can’t hold a candle to “Yeah, I’m gonna kill the whole wave in one shot now.”
Excuse me but the Support can actually use the alt fire of the Boom and Doomstick while jumping and looking down to jump over Zeds and headstomp them into a stun. Super usefull to get you out of a tough spot!
I have to say that HRG Incision with Acidic Rounds is really, really broken with the Field Medic. It can one shot many zeds really easily, and it knocks down everything but Fleshpounds, Quarter Pounders and bosses, with its healing darts. (Which also penetrate.) Usually whatever you can't one shot you shoot two darts in between regular shots xd. I pretty much just try to save 1500 dosh to buy it ASAP and then become an unstoppable killing and healing machine (because for some bizarre reason its darts heal almost triple than other weapon's) with practically infinite ammo.
I really missed out. I was confused by "Acidic Rounds" not doing what I thought it did and figured I was just being senile since the Medic Video. I gotta try out the new synergy with the HRG Incision on my quest to beat KF2!
this video will have absolutely no influence over what perks i do and dont play but its 34 minutes of explosive t-pains insanity so im in for the ride baybee
Wait, under evasive i thought they changed the poison effect recently in that you have to actually shoot zeds with a dart for it to poison them? It looks like you're just shooting them normally in the video which is how it used to work and was overpowered
Yah. I noticed that too. It was weird because it never happened when I was *trying* to get it to, so I just said "You poison Zeds" which is just true regardless.
@@ExplosiveT-5 Yeah. It's still true but the nerf sucks. I used to love poisoning zeds just by shooting. Having to actively use a dart to poison them made me choose the other option
@@Mysticfateee Yah. It was certainly more convenient and using the dart to poison never really came up. At least now the feature has value in solo and you can stretch your ammo like crazy.
It's surprisingly fun. Having the Medi-Nade changes how you think as a player and your effectiveness is still extremely high even when you're soloing. Definitely give it a chance. My personal recommendation is using the Medic Grenade Launcher because it shoots mini versions of your grenades and that is SOOOOOOOOO good to have in a boss fight.
@@randorookie8587 Indeed! I can't remember the name of it, but I believe it's the Medic's only 2k Dosh weapon and it literally has "Grenade Launcher" in the name so it ain't hard to find. Probably HMTech-105 Grenade Launcher?
I have no clue where my original comment has gone but upon trying Field Medic again while not mostly asleep turns out I like them A LOT healthrower and vampire are my personal favorites so it’s one of them and the SMG and yes I do keep the pistol around as well I’ve got enough medical to see us through the dark ages and then some now come get the healing I can’t help you if I can’t find you
I'm glad you enjoy them! If you haven't tried the HMtech-501 Grenade Rifle I suggest you change that. It's a different experience from you favorites, but having more medi-nades is REALLY USEFUL and you can bonk Zeds with the grenade projectile for a laugh. That's of course my personal choice. I've also been hearing a lot of good things about the HRG Incision with the changes they made to the "Acidic Rounds" perk. If you're enjoying FM, give them a gander!
gs is the best imo, but personally main m14+fal sharp or RRRRR swat g36+nailgun. sometimes go support m4+shockgun or lazy mode survivalist rpg+frostfang. i stay far away from chaos perks and using drone since they don't feel satisfying or rewarding to me
All good picks. I'm a big fan of the HRG Nailgun myself. I literally put in a clip of me just going "This is a Good Gun" with no real reason in the grand scheme of the video. It's just fun and LOUD. It sounds like most people agree that GS is top tier and I won't deny that. It is an extremely powerful class with high damage numbers, dumpsters full of ammo, surprising weapon diversity, and wonderful mobility. The problem I see is that it is susceptible to being poked, ambushed, and subsequently chunked with it's limited defense and lack of a panic button. GS also has no Utility (Teamwork Category) so you don't provide anything that would help your team or alter your solo-experience like the Sharpshooter. Yes, GS is good and especially so if you are good with them. I was actually looking for excuses to put them higher when making my list, but a rising tide lifts all boats. And again, everything below FM was within 2 points of each other. They all have their strengths and shortcomings and simply knowing what you're doing with a class is enough to put it above the rest. Field Medic's healing is just too strong (TripWire, if you nerf it I will STRANGLE you). Slightly irrelevant, but it sounds like TripWire is trying to make it so you can't "put your cursor at eye-level and only get head-shots" by adding more stumbly walking animations and what-not. I imagine needing to try harder to aim is going to hurt GS's title of "Being the Best". Hopefully it just filters out the meta-chasers and lets people who love the class enjoy it.
@@ExplosiveT-5 GS is super fast, don't even have to run with fp's chasing you, can just hold S and tap its head to slow it. The main concern for players is if they panic easily in hot moments. Keep a calm head and spatially aware then you're fine. More comfortable you are with stressful situations the better. As for hrg nailgun, its ammo dmg is counted as rifle so it deletes fleshpounds with shotgun mode on when aimed at the head. Can grab a frost revolver on gs if you wanna have some slight utility for team and with a medic pistol being that med pistol weighs 1LB anyways(every perk should carry a medic pistol imo since it weighs like nothing and can heal at a distance). As for stumbling, if you're a precision perk in a chaos team with firebugs, demos or medic with poison build, then you're gonna have a bad time due to poor synergy and coordination which is why if I have a greedy chaos team then I actually prefer to solo a side away from the team so I can have a secured lane without stumbling lads. I never tell people on my teams to change perks or style to match my style, if they got their own thing that doesn't mesh with mine then i'll go off on my own somewhere on the map. very fun watch though man.
@@LeevoBeepo I love the Chaos playstyle. Having the kill feed fill on accident is very amusing. Having a GS or SS just kinda roaming tends to do pretty well in that situation. I have an SS main doing the same. The reason I mentioned the stumbling is not because FB and Demo will cause it, but because Zeds will just stumble around more in their passive walking animations. I think they're gonna adjust the height of the Zeds as well for the same reason of preventing people from not needing to aim.
@@ExplosiveT-5 They do side step sometimes but never really noticed them stumbling unless there's a reason like they take a body shot or catch fire/poison panic. My swat and sharp are crouch based builds so I can't rely on sweeping my aim at a level angle, so it helps with aim discipline quite a bit since I have to be at an awkward angle. The aim, as with any game, turns into muscle memory so you don't have to focus as hard which gives you more room to focus on the situation happening around you if the homies need help killing bigs, if the wave is pushing up on a friends lane hard or if anyone needs emergency healing. usually play hell on earth++ turbo these days but sometimes pop into suicidal to chill with the lads for a casual game. Feel like playing more kf1 recently tho for that nostaglia.
@@LeevoBeepo I think I failed to clarify. They are adding more stumbling in the new game, Killing Floor 3. Zed heights will be different, crawlers can traverse walls/ceilings, Husks can attack from high ground and have a jetpack. I'm not saying you'll have problems with this, but I wanted to make sure you knew I was talking about 3 when I kept saying "TripWire is making things stumble a lot to make aiming harder." Pre-Alpha, so we'll see what happens.
tbh this kinda questions doesnt really have definite answers... i mean.. as you said "just play the way you wanna play".. tho PERSONAL OPINION, man fk them AOE / Spam perks.. fkn braindead doesnt require skills just press shot and either zeds dies or the whole team diesthats it... so PERSONALY i go for precision perks.. its fun and ACTUALLY fun
EXACTLY. The SS main I know is our best bet at surviving a round that seems lost. It may be a tough or unappealing class, but it can certainly pull its wait when done right. Love you SS mains!
When I realized I didn't play the Incision at all in this video I was sad. Fiddling around with that weapon was super fun when I did the Field Medic Video.
And I hope that never changes. Having a healer is extremely important in high-level play and the DPS/Power Fantasy of the other classes is enough to prevent people from just stacking Field Medics.
With the power of Melee Expert and spaghetti code, Survivalist can actually become one of the most damaging perks in the game! A handful of melee weapons use powerful attacks that are balanced by their ammo mechanic. Those weapons also often deal a different damage type than slashing, piercing or bludgeoning, which are more effective against certain big threats. Melee Expert passively gives the Survivalist a total of *90%* damage buff that applies to ALL of those weapon's attacks. That's a dead Scrake in 2 shots from Frost Fang. That's a Fleshpound in bite-sized chunks in just 2 swings of the Pulverizer. Furthermore, the *weapon type* of your *grenades* is being determined by the weapon you are *currently holding* (except the medic nade iirc). Make Things Go Boom increases the effectiveness of ALL things with an AoE, making grenades that much more potent. So, with the standard HE nades, what you have is 5 pocket nukes that give Fleshpounds a limp, along with obliterating entire hordes off the map in just a single throw. It's a stupidly powerful perk if you know how to use it right.
Exactly why Survi was disqualified. That class is all over the place! I believe I pointed out the melee stuff in either the Survi or the DLC video, but it is EXTREMELY good and that quality is only increased by the ability to parry! I made a point to show me blocking KFP's attacks with the Frost Fang when I said I wouldn't be talking about weapon specifics.
RIGHT!? It took me a hot second to get that animation to look *kinda* like a KF2 popup, but once I figured it out and realized my limitations, I was able to retool it and spread it across the whole video! Masking was a HUGE part of the learning process in this video and I think the extra effort shines through! It's also just a useful skill for me to have. I feel like Masking and Overlays are when your editing becomes more "Professional" in the eyes of other creators.
Well that disqualification reasoning seems... shall we say... stupid. And also, the darts do home in on people, what are you talking about? Maybe that's a console thing if you play on console? Or perhaps a bug on your system? Either way, it makes no sense. Skip.
@@CmoIsDaNam3i I think the reasoning is sound. It seems unfit to give Survi 5s in everything just because you *can* equip anything you want. You aren’t going to have a game with the Battle Axe, Freezethrower, Medic Rifle, Sniper, and Dual Deagles. Even if you found a way to cram all flavors of weapons in your inventory, they’d be too cheap to make up for the DPS deficit you’d now be facing. If you watch the end of the video, you’ll see that I did track the number for them anyway and I believe it put them tied for 2nd which I feel is correct for an experienced Survivalist. Also, I am on PC and the darts were just not homing at all. They might have been a tiny bit, but I believe I have footage in the video of the whiffing all my darts when they should be hitting. Regardless, I hope the video was at least entertaining despite being unsatisfactory.
@@ExplosiveT-5 Not really at all because you should be looking at a practical effect. Not on some weird basis that to be honest, makes no freaking sense at all. Its just frankly stupid. I'm sorry but thats my honest take on it. No one takes a look at a jack of all trades and says "Nah, this guy doesn't count" its just silly my guy. Plus the darts are definitely bugged on your end then. Because it works for all the time. This is quite literally the first time I've heard people say this. I can even record a few matches if you want. And also in general for me, as someone who has *REALLY* bad experiences dealing with the KF community after trying to be a part of it, I checked the freak *out* the video after that section. For me the community for KF has been like somehow the polar opposite of like the Helldivers community, at least at a glance with Helldivers, still dont have the game but the game balancing drama made me think "Wow, I wish the Killing Floor community was like the Helldivers community and wasn't so hellbent on stupid balancing choices like with Sharpshooting and Berzerker and just tired to make a freaking fun game instead" I didn't want to deal with that nonsense because I love the game, but I *HATE* the community. It just feels like a bunch of people who are tryharding on a PvE, co-op game that at the end of the day is just for fun and to kill genetically produced zombies and who they also try to just force their overly competitive ways on everyone like with the Zerk nerf that was just WAY to overdone. So yeah, I can't say I did, because thats the vibe I got from your reasoning for that. "Oh my gosh another guy who just hates on someone not using Sharpshooter and Commando again. I'm out. 🙄" was my thought after hearing all of that.
@@CmoIsDaNam3i I won't argue with you on how to watch the video. If you don't like it, that's up to you. I do hope you rest assured that the goal and conclusion of the video was to show off each individual class and how well they work in their respective niches. All, the classes were only a few points off from each other and I actually placed Sharpshooter and Commando near the bottom since they were lacking in areas other weren't. I love the Survivalist, and it following the law of averages as well as being one of the takniest classes in the game AND having access to the Healing Grenade put it above the rest. Like I said, I still counted it's points and added it to the final tally in 2nd place. I am extremely against "Metas" and believe that you should play whatever is fun instead of mainstream. Clearly that sentiment should have been shared earlier in the video, but I do intend on making an entire video about the topic if the video essay format starts working for me. I'm sorry the video wasn't to you liking. I will keep your feedback in mind in the future.
@@ExplosiveT-5 No I appreciate that. And I also should apologize. Just a lot of the Killing Floor community has poisoned me a lot of it outside of playing the game. Its why I was pretty hostile really because its been that bad in many cases. But its no real excuse for how I talked about it either so I am sorry about that. I appreciate the replies and hope for your success in KF3 content on UA-cam. Thank you.

Play a server without the downscaling and like 99% of medics will die on their own as they cant kill FP's fast enough they need a 2nd player to survive which encourages team work.

@@drunkbunny94 Ooh, I should have called Teamwork “Utility.”
As for the other things, I loosely called attention to the roles classes fill with the “Damage Type” on the graph.
Ofc some perks bridge the chaos/precision divide like medic who's mostly for buffing/healing and some trash control, survivalist who can build precision loadouts like freezethrower/frostfang/railgun and support who has enough DPS that they can contribute to body shotting if they have too.
i haven't played KF2 in a few months at least, and this really makes me wanna get back into it, amazing vid
@@thebrilliantmistake1916 Thank you so much! I’m glad I could rope you back into it.
I agree with the statement of "Play the way you want to play"
As this game is so diverse it supplies thousands of playstyles.
Thanks for the video
NP. I got you fam!
Demo gets freaking Durability -1 as self damage is wayyyy to high so much so that stuff like M79 and M32 are super hard to use in solo.
Love your vids bro. While grinding achievements on kf2 got medic to max prestige and I can't agree more. Hope to see you on the zed front my fellow ketamaniac
I'm glad you enjoyed and can confirm my claim! See you on the Killing Floor!
Firebug is best boi. The dragons reath shotgun is an excellent tool for spready glorious, cleansing flame.
Hey, kf2 video, appreciate it man! I am slightly disagry on some point, but overall pretty good list!
Glad you enjoyed! I don't expect people to agree with me on everything, but I put the time into making it as honest and fair as possible.
@@omegalegion1769 Thank you so much! Also, the Berserker's a she by the way.
8:38 that transition tho
Second as a medic main in every FPS i play KF2 is my 2nd fav just behind TF2 and it is mainly because of how strong and useful i feel
here is hoping KF3 gives us a just as powerful and engaging Medical class to play
I with ya pal. Medic being such a powerful class is a very important feature of the game and I hope KF3 does it a justice.
i remember when the medic rocket launcher was launched and made medic the best class in the game for solo cause u were basically imortal and 2 shot flashpounds while aoe healing, but then they nerfed it LUL
For context, the number meant:
1=Nothing
2=Something
3=Note-Worthy
4=Proficient
5=Unrivaled
Aaaaaand Tripwire is trying to remove ALL of this cool shit because they’re trying to turn KF3 into a hero shooter 😭
Gahd, I hope they put perks in the game...
i love how firebug is the jack of all trades kinda class, having 3 in most of the categories. Kinda like pyro in tf2 :)
It is a really useful class to have around. Especially if you are coordinated and holding hallways, having a Demo on one and an FB on the other makes the waves a cake-walk.
Dawg beserker used to be so busted. Used that shit to carry me and my friends through hell on earth
I don't think I got to play Berserker in its busted days. Truly a tragedy since I am the token melee man.

In all fairness, FB is more likely to steal kills with their AoE and DoT.
Gunslinger and Demo are personal favs but like I said before I like playing a medic and I do think medic could grow on me if I gave it some time
It's surprisingly fun. Having the Medi-Nade changes how you think as a player and your effectiveness is still extremely high even when you're soloing. Definitely give it a chance. gs is the best imo, but personally main m14+fal sharp or RRRRR swat g36+nailgun. sometimes go support m4+shockgun or lazy mode survivalist rpg+frostfang. i stay far away from chaos perks and using drone since they don't feel satisfying or rewarding to me
All good picks.
I'm not saying you'll have problems with this, but I wanted to make sure you knew I was talking about 3 when I kept saying "TripWire is making things stumble a lot to make aiming harder."
Pre-Alpha, so we'll see what happens.
Is KF3 actually gonna be coming out???

Babe wake up, Explosive dropped a new KF VIDEO!!!
Indeed he has! Hope you all enjoyed!
Medic.
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Hello
Greetings.
Genuine firebug propaganda.
Pfft- what? No...
Can I come back yet? You still haven’t fixed my unjust ban
For me the community for KF has been like somehow the polar opposite of like the Helldivers community, at least at a glance with Helldivers, still dont have the game but the game balancing drama made me think "Wow, I wish the Killing Floor community was like the Helldivers community and wasn't so hellbent on stupid balancing choices like with Sharpshooting and Berzerker and just tired to make a freaking fun game instead"
I didn't want to deal with that nonsense because I love the game, but I *HATE* the community.
Thank you.
