I'm glad you get how special this one was. It's cinematic, it's shot beautifully, his acting is insanely impressive, the concept was executed perfectly, the lyricism and overall message being productive and one of redemption.

_Exactly_ what I’ve been saying since 2018, man. Ex👏🏼act👏🏼ly👏🏼... And I KNEW it was only a matter of time until Tom made it big. I knew people _NEEDED_ to hear what he had to say. I saw it in him when I watched Politically Incorrect, White Boy, Dear Rappers, Way Off, and Everybidy Hates Me. Tom is a pure VISIONARY. I didn’t know what songs he would make in the last few years, but I knew they would be meaningful and insightful and truth telling and emotional and perceptive...I can’t wait to see what the next few years has in store for Tom and Nova, and I’m glad y’all are going to be here with us for it. What a road it’s been, from 70k subs and tens of thousands of views on his videos with tens of comments on each, to where we are now, 2 million strong, hitting the top of the charts, beating Eminem and Cardi B.
I've been waiting for years for the moment he BLEW UP. 2020 was just the start for how big he's going to get. As a member of #HOG since Day 1 it's so validating for everyone to finally see what I saw years ago.

This is absolutely a masterpiece, it gets me every time. Notice how he integrates the dark side more each time he sings the chorus, and until they merge - he tamed the Jungian shadow self.

"Anxiety"is one of Tom's older ones to listen to,is the first one I listened of Tom's. It got me hooked on tom.
The difference between successful and unsuccessful people is trying and then not giving up. For most people their greatest barrier is themselves. Don't doubt yourself and realize that anyone that has succeeded has "failed" several times. Think positive and it puts positive thoughts into the universe....(proper exercise, diet, and the company you keep, are also important) some may think that sounds silly, but it works...you can manifest positive things and negative things in your life just by your energy and thoughts....many successful and highly successful people, will tell you this. But with positive energy and thoughts, it also takes work...anything worth fighting for takes time and work. If life was too easy, people wouldn't appreciate it. You're not "failing" if you're not giving up, and ignore people that say you can't do something. "Failure" is part of learning, if your're not failing, you're not trying hard enough. I'd also recommend physically writing down what you want to accomplish every day..write down your goals and the steps it takes to accomplish them, and then start doing the steps one at a time to get to your goals. I've been through a lot in my life and i still struggle with staying positive at times, but i promise you things will change for the better if you want them to.

No one seems to mention that during the chorus, when he sings “I’m the best rapper ever...” that he’s in the dark side... and that his demon keeps egging him on..and even pushing him to say that he’s the “best”. The demon even sings along in the chorus and whispers the words “best ever”.
It’s like Tom and Nova are trying to show that, yes...it’s important to believe in yourself. But be careful that your demons (ego) don’t push you into the darkness of hubris.

This is my fight song! This year in July I'll be 7 years clean from heroin. My daughter just turned 5 in February. On those days where I don't feel okay...this song(as well as a few others but this is #1 right now) and my daughter give me strength!
Love this song. I've lived this! Not a rapper but a mother that pulled herself up.
I was disappointed when I first saw the title of this song when it premiered. I thought, damn Tom ..... what's with the ego. However after watching it a few times I finally understood that whilst dealing with his inner demons he fought back with a positive mindset ..... best? don't care....in my world his music touches me, is relatable and has spanned the spectrum of people in this world.
