I am amazed that CN got the track repaired that fast! The hogger and conductor are thanking whoever that the slide didn't hit the headend with deadly consquences.
railroads act very quickly to get tracks reopened because of the need to service customers and keep freight moving. railroads are self insured and the checkbook is wide open to get the trains rolling again.
That's me lol. There's never been a day with no rocks falling. From Spence's Bridge to Boston bar it's a continuous rock falling situation. If it starts to go again you lift the workheads and push forward as fast as you can!
Well that's quicker than I figured but as most of the material was small so it wasn't enough to wreck the track bed. Be a while before they get the cars out though. Thanks for the update.
😮😢 boy that Landslide that derailed the grain cars going by down below. It almost got the road. It's just a couple of feet away from where the road is going by up above. It almost got it. If you're seeing the video it's very close thank you.

Be it the tracks or road there’s always rocks falling. Go through that area in a car, turn off your radio and you’ll hear pebbles bouncing off your roof.
That's me in the tamper lol. There's never been a day with no rocks falling. From Spence's Bridge to Boston bar it's a continuous rock falling situation, its impossibleto stop all of it. If it starts to go again you lift the workheads and push forward as fast as you can!
The sound effects... like watching TV in the 70s before news cameras had sound. It wasn't a good technique then. Sorry. You do have the best video I have found from the scene though.
Get er running. I wouldn’t want to be on either the rails or the road above! Great perspective. Btw the water and other sounds were unnecessary. Just fyi.
Just went over it this evening with 22000 tons.. good to go 😮

Brave equipment operator! That hillside seems intent on going for a river swim.

We put down 5 panels. I was the one surfacing that.
Did you have an SFOC for the drone flight?

Looks real safe . . . . . . (stuff still sliding down). Let me guess they'll send a fully loaded oil and/or fuel train down that line next. 🤔

There's still rock sliding and they are already trying to open it...........

Was wondering why I saw the CP Rail Emergency Response trailer today.

Next time, it might be the highway and the tracks. Very unstable looking topography!
Love the music in the background
On Canadian National tracks, though.
CN and CPKC share track through that area. Eastbound run on one side of the river and westbound run on the opposite side.

WOW! Good thing it wasn't a Liberal pipeline. Exactly why pipelines should be required and expanded to the coast.
Pipelines leak!
