Sam Neal - I haven’t watch Batwoman only when her episode was on crisis on infinite earths. Well as you probably heard spoiler alert CW has cast Warren Christie as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Part of me is happy that Batman is finally in the Arrowverse and the other half is worried that CW will give Batman the same treatment as Superman. In a show without a Bruce Wayne, anyone who was at all familiar with the comics knew what was going to happen from the very first episode where Tommy Elliot was introduced. This was totally telegraphed given that this was just pulled from the Hush/Heart of Hush storyline.

I stopped caring. CW has proven time and time again, that for most of their DC shows, they have either bad writers or bad decision-makers.
The only ones that were decent were the Flash and the first few seasons of Arrow.
Of course, they found cause to screw those shows in some form.
And what's worse... it's not that hard to write something better. I can't fathom how they ended up writing such scripts and getting it approved.

Season one and two were really good. The first season of flash was good then I don't know what happened
season 1,2&5 of arrow were the only season that were good and for the flash it was only season 1&2 that were good.
Currently the only good arrowvers show is black lightning, it has good writing and having 13 episodes a season allow the writer to stay focused on the story and not waste time on pointless fillers

Superman/Clark Kent is my favourite fictional character. And I agree with John and Robert, the Arrowverse just seems to hate him with a passion. Most egregious... They just screwed over Brandon Routh's Superman in COIE. The continuation and potential last hurrah of Richard Donner's Superman, the role that, correctly or not, wanted to embody Christopher Reeve, and the Reeve version being the one that most of were first exposed to and think of when we think Superman. They brought him in, influenced heavily by the legendary and celebrate Kingdom Come story, even used the suit, lost many of his friends and family... AND DID NOTHING WITH HIM! They got to the mid point and then went... let's use Lex Luthor instead and not bother with this guy. No one wants to see Superman fight the anti-monitor and save the multiverse like he did in that revered comic we're adapting, they want that guy from Two And A Half Men!

Tyler Hoechlin is likable in the role of Superman, and I hope the Superman and Lois TV series goes well. And Supergirl, while the show has had its ups and downs, has given us a great Lex in Jon Cryer. As for Batman, I guess we will see.
I think when they first used superman they never thought they would be allowed to do a show with him and they just used him to make supergirl seem better. Hope they dont make the same mistake with Batman.

For Pete's sake, John acts like Superman (or Batman, or Wonder Woman) never "jobs" in the comics. Superman has lost to heroes and villains alike (including one time to non-enhanced Muhammad Ali). The fact is in comics when heroes fight you want to know who is going to win - whosever name is on the cover, regardless of how powerful they are. It is a time-honored tradition just like in wrestling. Superman has also left Earth telling whoever taking over the title "the Earth will be fine cause they have you".
Even though I'd love to see a live action Batman show, I just don't think the CW would be able to do it justice. HBO Max maybe, as I'm sure they have more money to play with.
Speaking of the cw arrowverse, what do you all think of the flash season 6? I think it is great even though it ended early. It is my second favourite season of the flash.

Hi John, Always enjoy watching your channel & hearing the latest movie news! In answer to your question... hate to break it to you but this Batwoman TV Series already did that... right on S1 E1! Yup, just watch that episode and pay close attention to when she discovers the Batcave and the Batman costume hanging up on display. More specifically, pay very close to what she tells Lucius Fox's son about what they are going to do to the Batman costume right before that scene ends for a commercial break! Cannot wait to hear you reaction!!! Please be sure to put it on one of your next shows. It just might exceed your reaction to Robert Patinson's whining about working out for The Batman movie, I kid you not. BTW, you were completely right about everything you said in that video and you definitely expressed the same opinion for a lot of us viewers and Batman fans as well. It is much appreciated!

I think it would benefit the cw to move away from the present and move all their shows into the future generation just like arrow, then we could have a batman beyond which would be great for the tv i think.

Superman's portrayal in CW reminds me of Spider-Man in that old Spider-Woman cartoon. She was strong and had all these cool powers, while Spider-Man could only shoot a weak ass web.. which was only a slight annoyence for the bad guys

I still stand with David Boreanaz as TV's TDKR-ish Bruce Wayne. The CW cannot do better than him. Yes, Nolan got Bale so he moved on from David, but do The CW really think they can outcast Christian Bale in a Christopher Nolan movie? David has that stoic badass thing going for him, he's a huge guy and he's got the chin. I'd say - let him be Batman on Superman and Lois so we can actually get a DCAU World's Finest kind of Batman/Superman team up. They can actually cast David Mazouz as Damian Wayne for this one.

If not this show, then there are other shows that do him justice having a guy who is older and makes Bruce Wayne look older and still have his place and gear to help any if needed. i never knew of Batwoman till this show and have took break from since cross over changed vibe or feel of shows now.

WHY is the Batwoman bat wig on the "helmet"? A helmet with hair is more campy than anything done in the old 1960s TV series
I seem to recall that in the comics, the wig was detachable and was attached to the helmet/cowl. One panel had a bad guy grabbing her hair and yanking it only to find it coming off in his hand.

When Filmation made She-Ra and they brought He-Man as a guest, they made you miss the He-Man show. But there was never an attitude like "I'm better than you because I was the first", nor was any "I'm better than you because this is MY show" attitude from She-Ra. They were complementary to each other. That is what Superman and Supergirl should be, and by extension Batman and Batwoman. But noooooo, they can't have that, can they?

That crisis episode had Kate ( batwoman ) meet a much older bruce in a different timeline who was played by the voice of batman himself Kevin Conroy . His cynical older Batman made it difficult for kate to respect him so maybe when Warren Christie emerges as the real and younger bruce Wayne/Batman in this main timeline that Kate might trust a lot before Tommy does too much damage with Bruce's face

In my opinion, I think the difference is that the story in TLJ was about Luke's arc as a character. His failings were about him, not about Rey. They ultimately served a purpose in getting him to learn a lesson by the end of the film that wasn't just about how terrible he is in comparison to Rey. Yes, he lost a duel, but I'm fairly certain he was holding back heavily, not to mention he was using a freaking pipe and she had a saber. Plus it's not like she necessarily "bested" him. She knocked him down and he decided to stay there. I think it's clear in the film that Luke and Rey are having an intense disagreement that turns into a fight, not necessarily a battle to the death. It's like they both kind of come to their senses once Luke hits the ground. Also let's not forget that in the end of TLJ, Luke saves everyone. I respect your guys' opinion and this comparison, this is just why I disagree.
