    Unfortunately the audio is messed up for the video. I checked multiple other videos that worked just fine. I can’t hear or understand a thing in this video.

    Soon you'll be able to Bluetooth your pin Site and even speak Alexa to it and have it shoot your bow for you.

    I am a new hunter,. I am starting off with a lighter bow draw weight until I get up to exactly the draw weight I want/need. Does anyone know if I need to recalibrate from scratch every single time I change my bow's draw weight, or do I reshoot in a chrono to get the new arrow speed and simply make the updates in the arrow profiles? Thanks.

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  8 місяців тому

      Thank you for your question. When you change your draw weight, you will want to ADD a new arrow profile, not edit an existing one. The following link will walk you through it. I hope this helps.

    It was a pain to get the laser in the circle i could barely see the arrow with just a 28dl afterwards it was nice I just wished I didn’t have to hold the button down to keep the pin in it’s ranged position if I could just click it on target and it keep that range saved so I didn’t have to hold the button down say I click and it ranges at 42yrds I wish the dot would stay at 42yrds without holding the button or can I do that anybody ? I would hate to have spent over 1200 bucks to find out I need to stay with a regular sight

    • @GarminRetailTraining

      Thank you for your question. Once you press the button to range your target, then release the button, you will get a pin / aiming solution for that yardage. You do not have to hold the button continuously to keep the pin at that yardage. However, if you are shooting multiple arrows (say when you are practicing), the pin will remain for several seconds but will timeout and you will have to range the target again for the proper aiming solution. But that is just a simple press and release of the button again on the intended target.

    Sorry, piss poor video, get your audio fixed Asap then redo your sir, BUT, I don't accept the idea of putting $1000 into freaking bow sight. Nor $900, unacceptable, I think they call price gouging, no sale

    Excellent video. You did a great job explaining the features and function of the sight and having the actual sight in the left part of the video when you were making adjustments was super helpful. I placed my order for this sight and can't wait to get it in and set up. Thanks for taking the time to do it right Mike!

    Offer discounts for customers with multiple Garmin chart plotters and a Force? 😅 I even have a 15 year old hand held Garmin GPS unit. It was a no brainer on the chart plotters and trolling motor. This one is a little harder to justify when my fixed pin sight only cost $30. At worst, I could get a bow mounted range finder for a couple hundred! Cool bells and whistles but I don’t see how they justify the cost.

    Has anyone tried shooting in XD mode? I was shooting up to 90 yards in XD mode and my arrows are hitting high from 80 to 90 yards and I was trying to auto adjust my pin calibration in XD mode like you do in standard mode but I don't think there is a way to do it. Does anyone know if there's a way to adjust your pins in XD mode?

    I bought the xero A1 and the A1i pro. Both are on there way.
    I'm confused and maybe someone can help. Do you have to power the sight on before you go hunting and power it off after?
    I have the Burris Oracle and you hit the range button any time and it's button.

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  2 роки тому

      Thank you for your question. The device will automatically power off after 24 hours if it does to detect any button or trigger presses. While in standby mode, the sight uses very little power and the battery life is up to 1 year. I hope this helps.

      @@GarminRetailTraining I also have a question. I have the A1i pro. If you select reset settings will the sight start all the way from scratch like as if you're first signing it in when you buy it?

    • @jeremydixon4704
      @jeremydixon4704 Рік тому

      @@bobbydenezza7795 yes. When you reset it you start back like it’s brand new. I’ve done it multiple times.

    • @bobbydenezza7795
      @bobbydenezza7795 Рік тому

      @@jeremydixon4704 Cool. If you did that multiple times do you reset it and start over before every new season starts to make sure your bow is still accurate?
      With these sights if you don't reset it and keep it where it is and if it's shooting off target it won't ask you if you missed high or low unless you're in the "sighting in process" when you reset it.

    Needing an allen wrench to shoot longer distances seems like a missed opportunity. If you want to shoot a TAC event with shots in the 100+ range I think there should be an easier way to extend the range.

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  7 місяців тому +1

      Thank you for your question. You do not "need" a peep sight, however it is recommended since you need to have a consistent anchor point and sight picture in order to shoot accurately and consistently.

    Good video. At 13:11 of this video, it talks about measuring the distance from the bottom of the sight to a nocked arrow. When you take this measurement, I see your arrow rest is sitting up. My arrow rest on my bow raises up as I draw the bow. Since I have this type of rest, how should I take a proper measurement?

    • @xplodemoto
      @xplodemoto Рік тому

      I would do it in a horizontal draw board or make a mark on your rest engagement string, loosen it, raise your rest and then put it right back where it was. Quick and dirty you could measure the diameter of the arrow and the throat of the rest down or even get your bow horizontal and level and nock your arrow then measure 📐

    Thank you for posting this video. I recently bought the A1i Hoyt edition. I’m having trouble aligning the laser aiming reticle and the circle. I don’t see any arrows pointing me in the right direction. Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for your comment. Sorry to hear you are having challenges aligning the reticle. At full draw, if you are pressing and holding the ranging button and the primary pin is not inside the ranging reticle, you should see green arrows to show you which direction the ranging reticle is. If you are not seeing those arrows, I would recommend reaching out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to troubleshoot and assist.
