I'm up to 4 booster boxes of Japanese 151. I've averaged about $160 CAD to acquire them which still feels like a great price. If I can get up to about 10 boxes, I'll probably open a couple of them for fun. Thanks for the video, Rob!

I think the reverse order. And for CAD, I just do ×1.35 and then add provincial sales tax as that's going to get charged on anything you bring in. Hope that helps!
I personally see some art rares and special art rares being bought up massively this week. I'm doing it too. Groudon and Tyranitar art rares under €5 are nice. Some sellers had 20-30 copies under €5. They now disappeared or repriced.

Kind of felt that okjluv somewhat changed his opinion when he originally made the video to pokemon not being investable to now scarlet and violet not being investable because he couldn’t disprove the fact that everything before that has risen in price.

I do got the blinders on for Japanese 151. Bought 6 bb to average down the price to 80 dollar a box so 2x msrp. Opened 1 for fun and giggles. Might try vstar too, Eevee Heroes is imo still overvalued. And ofc it won't drop to the value range of 151. But it is the reason why I rather open Korean Eevee Heroes. Not to keep sealed, just to collect the art work.
I’m loving the prices on Japanese product right now! People think the price collapse means the demand has fallen too but I think it’s just an overdue spike in supply. Long term, these are looking solid 💪

I think you hit on it quick. The yen has lost 10% of its value since July. If you take that out of the equation, and their recession, it is a very big opportunity. I have an order of about 40 boxes on the way in the coming weeks. Vstar universe is a gorgeous set.
The amount of people that have been scammed with Japanese boxes puts me off buying them on the secondary market. If I can’t buy them from PC Japan I don’t buy them

Idk saying a set like lost abyss is for sale when it s almost 5x msrp sounds realy weird to me. Japanese product still has a lot of room to fall. I always like when people hype up fusion arts. That set stinks (besides for like 3 cards) people used to call it fusion farts for a reason. It still is 3-4x msrp... . I don t think you are necessarily wrong but stop comparing english sets to japanese sets in total value it comes off as disingenuous. Please use a MSRP multiplier. Cosmic eclipse is 6-7x msrp. Dream league is almost 12x MSRP. If you look at it that way you see that it may still be too overvalued but then again maybe i m the one being to bearish. I only collect japanese and since 151 there are a lot of stupid people in japanese pokemon collecting and I don t want them being exploited. Plz man use msrp multipliers when comparing japanese and english product. You are still a cool dude I just hate it when people compare english to japanese using face value it s just wrong.
Hey dude, I appreciate the feedback. Msrp multipliers is a metric I can look t in the future for sure. Total % movement is what I like to view as i feel it gives the clearest indicator of the movement of a product regardless of the tag assigned to it by the retailer. But for sure I can look at it. You may be right on where we go next, you may be wrong. Based on the time horizons I mentioned, I am confident these sets will be up significantly, even "Farts". I really do appreciate the thought and logic you put into your comment and for taking the time to watch. I'll continue to try and improve the level of my analysis while also enjoying the content creation process 🥃
