This episode of Walking Tour Wednesday is unique, since it does not have much walking and commentary. This episode is also just a collection of rush hour footage at the University of Alberta, during a busy weekday rush hour after a heavy snowfall.
Edmonton is located in the land of Amiskwaciwâskahikan in Treaty 6 Territory and within the Métis homelands and Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4, the traditional territories of the ᓀᐦᐃᔭᐤ ᐊᐢᑭᕀ Nêhiyaw-Askiy (Plains Cree), Ĩyãħé Nakón mąkóce (Stoney), Niitsítpiis-stahkoii ᖹᐟᒧᐧᐨᑯᐧ ᓴᐦᖾᐟ (Blackfoot / Niitsítapi ᖹᐟᒧᐧᒣᑯ), Tsuut’ina, Michif Piyii (Métis), and Cree land.

Impressive, how much quieter everything becomes, once everybody stops driving as if they are on a racetrack. And next imagine reasonable speeds being the norm, forming an environment that doesn't scare everybody into driving.
