How exhausting, but exciting to setup for a big CRT. I wish I had more room to have another big CRT. Thanks for sharing and for the advice on getting the NES console it's working out nicely ❤
Hell yeah, I love it! I've recently started collecting retro games and systems. I've gotten several so far, but I'm hoping to rgb mod most of them, so they're in queue right now for when I've got time. I have a GBS-Control that I'm debating getting a crt monitor to use it with, or an old crt tv. I'm even looking into plasma tv's, I've seen some encouraging info about using those for retro gaming.
your crt needs space at the sides to breathe, otherwise you risk it overheating and reducing its lifespan prematurely such as by drying out the capacitors faster etc
This was a KV27-FS120, which doesn't have handles so much as it has angled plastic sides, which I personally don't feel is a great place to hold them, especially considering the weight distribution where you could.
This was super helpful for me trying to figure out what a good setup looks like. Thanks boss!

Great quality video! Love myself an old fashioned CRT!
The best!

I love videos like this it makes me want to grab a crt so bad
I Definitely encourage it! I'm going to have a few other videos in the future featuring different sizes for different spaces!
Looks like the perfect TV to play sonic pinball on.
You're a monster! ;)

Trinis do have handles. They're molded into the sides of the back.

What type of component switcher do you use?
This is a Pelican System Selector Pro!
