It's surreal that the final boss is a scary-looking angel that nonetheless acts like it wants you to stop its evil plan and spends the entire battle telling you how awesome you are for opposing it, all set to surprisingly chill and victorious boss music.
this game is just so special. i mean, what kind of a sweetheart do you have to be to come up with a whole game focused on and built entirely around empathy.
God I love this theme. I'm surprised there ain't more people here in the comments, but I suppose if there were more people watching this video, then it'd be taken down.
Such a good game. The story gets interesting slowly but it's everything you would expect from a Majocco and more. As a kid I always dreamt to play a Turn Based JRPG about Magical Girl and I was not disappointed. The soundtrack really captures the whole essence of the game and the theme. I still hope for a Blue Reflection 2!
Definitely gonna play this at some point. The soundtrack is bloody brilliant and I've only heard high praise about the game so far! Edit: little expensive, and combat was unbalanced (I had to go max difficulty and I never go max difficulty), but otherwise I really enjoyed the game!
To be honest with you - it's _alright_ . The game simultaneously feels super ambitious and super phoned in, somehow. The music and visuals are clearly the best part, and the the combat system is quite fun but only really gets to shine with the larger HP pool in the boss fights. The story is predictable (which isn't necessarily a fault, mind you) and coupled with the shallow gameplay loop you've basically seen everything the game has to offer by hour 4 - then the game continues for 20 after that. Yet at the same time, once the credits finally rolled I was not ready to say goodbye to the game. The community, the aesthetic, that world - despite feeling like most of the game was an uphill slog I didn't want to part with them at the end. So even if I still don't think it's that good of a game it also somehow managed to worm its way into the collection I consider favourites. If you can get it cheap then absolutely try it at least, but I'd hesitate to recommend spending anything substantial on it.
It's pretty much the post-credit scene in the game, so if you finish the game you can just straight up screenshot it yourself if need be. Afaik you can re-watch the credits via the post-game menu if you happen to have a save-file that's past the final encounter lol.
